Do you have any tips on writing? I love the particular ways in which you describe certain scenes. I truly can feel and experience them as if I can see myself there. Thanks.

UHHH tbh i'm pretty self conscious about my writing lol I don't even show most people my writing (although I think this is a common occurrence for writers lol)

often times when i want to flesh out a scene, i will typically try to explain the space around the character that i am writing for at the moment. if they are smelling, seeing, feeling and hearing certain things. i think script writing can also help to establish where your character is going and why.

i've been trying to stop so much flowery writing tbh cause i don't think flowery writing is indicative of good writing. my smut usually ends up not being as flowery lmao

BUTT yeah, if you feel like a certain sense is important at the time of writing, like a character in a rain, explain the sound, smells and sight of the water.

if they're eating at a restaurant, don't just explain the food they're eating! explain what it feels like, is it cold, comfy, what does it smell like, what's the lighting like. try your best to explain a few things so that the reader can place themselves in the space. colours can establish a lot of feelings. same with temperatures. a blue room that's coloured red will give weird vibes! because red is usually associate with warmth!

trying to use differences can make the reader feel unease. if everything's the same, like warmth, hot sun, yellow golden light, balmy sand, there's lots of things you can describe!

but an important thing to keep in mind is also to ask yourself if what you're describing is important at the time. if you're talking about the character feeling a fabric, go back to why it's important. not EVERYTHING NEEDS to be described, just also recognize that it's not always necessary to explain why a character is moving from one space to another in like 5 paragraphs.

for stuff like smut or just intimacy, (like no fugging) you can explain a lot too in a way so that it feels like you can evoke those experiences. butterflies in your stomach, quickening of breath, warm flush of your cheeks, tingles in your LOINS, nervous anxious ticks, how kisses feel!

SO, here’s some fact about this AU:

Touya (26) is the crown prince of the Flame Kingdom, the oldest son of King Enji Todoroki

Touya is a rebellious young man who absolutely has no interest to become a king because he always says that ruling the kingdom has never been his style

That leads him to his alias, Dabi, the name he uses every time he “run away” from the castle to find “fresh air” with his personal butler/childhood friend, Hawks aka Keigo Takami  (23)

One time Dabi/Touya and Hawks sneaked out from the castle to find a witch to ask her to make a potion that can make people immortal
