No blanks! just straight into the final mold. Very careful placement and a slow resin pour. The objects are very small, and Ive found you dont need to use blanks as long as you arent overfilling the mold.

Okay so Im so proud of these. These are a set of character dice for a paladin that worships “the lady of broken branches” a goddess of the wild, forgotten and broken. Silver and black are her main colours. For these I used dried leaves, mixed some dark pigment that I tried to drop into the centre of the dice, but my pride and joy are the fake webs. You can see it most clearly in the d6. It took me an age to figure out how to put fake webs in these without disrupting the resin.

Sorry for the delays here, I do have more dice to share I just haven’t put them in the queue yet. Thanks to everyone that’s followed me! Very soon I’m getting my own 100% original dice masters prepped :D I’m really excited for that because it will feel more like my dice are completely mine.

What I have dubbed the geode dice. Glow in the dark on one side, rock effect on the other. My only regret is not making sure the high number glowed on every dice.

Pretty simple this time! Black cores with a clear shell that has metal flakes mixed in. Pretty cool effect and didnt risk losing the flakes inside the black resin.

This set of dice took me an absolute age and Im devestated to say they dont photograph well. I had to make a new set of cores that I could sculpt on top of to create the filigree designs inside, then so that wouldn’t effect weighting, I made a new mold and cast the cores in resin, hand painted, and enclosed in a shell. This is another set of character specific dice, this time for a renaissance spymaster.

These dice come to you from my friend who picked out the colours when I had some resin left over from another pour.

Just some clear green with gold flakes. Simple but fun.

Another set that I just adore. The best marble effect I think I’ve achieved so far.

Cow Dice. Thats all. I love them :D (There are hearts hidden on every dice, not all visible in the pictures but some are)

Okay I absolutely love these! I had the thought if I mixed acrylic paint lightly through resin I might get a paint spatter effect and thats pretty much exactly what happened. There were no issues with the cure (other than it slightly accelerated the resin) and it looks really cool! Plain pink from a distance but mottled up close :)

Didn’t come out exactly how I’d hoped with the swirl inside but still pretty cool and I love the cracked silver on some of the sides.

I tried putting dried and dyed flowers int dice and honestly love it? the only one Im not happy with is the d20 where a few extra petals snuck in. Just too many colours I think. That d8 tho, love it.

Mica powder experiments! They are brighter in real life I promise. They make me think of panto a bit in all honesty.

These could have stood to have a little longer in the vacuum chamber - led to quite a few defects but thats okay, I’ll find a use for them. Maybe polish them up and make them into jewellery or something.
