i would argue that boundaries are more easily overstepped when it comes to tickling because it’s such a “cute” “innocent” “little” thing

tickling literally sets off a fight or flight response and can quickly become torturous. the fact that it also happens to induce laughter does not change this fact

there are so many different combinations of tickle preferences, and this makes it all the more important to set boundaries

so, whether tickling is sexual to you or not, do NOT let your partner push your boundaries just because tickling is just “cute” and “innocent”
