I tend to draw everything with the same soft pillow-like texture, so painting different surfaces is important practice for me ~ If you want to learn more about how I do this, check out my tutorial on painting different surfaces over on patreon!
So a bit of a funny thing recently my brother pointed out to me recently.
For context, for my recent little horror art series, I have been physically putting up those fliers around my small-ish college town (about 5 per variant) and then leaving them. I wanted them to be street art and allow the public to see them.
Now, after a few days, people are starting to notice them and I've been seeing people post on their social media stories and stuff about the fliers. I was telling my brother about this and he just said "You're a cryptid now."
I did it.
I finally achieved my dream.
I became the scary local cryptid in the woods (or kinda shitty town, but WHATEVER)
hey here's a website for downloading any video or image from any website.

I was high off my ass last night and had this dream where I was in this dense ass forest and sitting there was a tall woman. She was so tall I couldn’t see her face but she was wearing gold and I was like “uh…hi?” And she said “I made you, do you know that?” And I nodded and she was like “I hear your thoughts. Why do you hate my creation? Why do you try to destroy yourself? I made you perfect as you are. Please don’t break my heart”. Then she started crying and it flooded and I woke up with fucking heart palpitations like what does it Mean™️????
Art Tips to Help Myself (and, hopefully, others who also struggle with art while fighting off the ADHD Goblins)
USE REFERENCE (!!!!!!!!!) Reference can include poses, faces, clothes, hair, colors, designs, perspective, etc. NOTE: If you think you don't need reference, then you ABSOLUTELY NEED TO USE REFERENCE (this note is just for me specifically, I get too overconfident and think I don't need it, then proceed to struggle when I try to draw something I don't know well).
Take it slow. It sounds tripe, but there is genuinely no rush. This should be fun, not a race to get it done.
Multiple iterations! The first go-around on a piece or design doesn't have to be the last one.
Trust the process, don't be afraid to stand back and rest up. Taking a break can help you realize what is and isn't working out.
Don't neglect all of your tools! Don't be afraid to try something different and see what clicks and what doesn't.
