Okay, if you’re like me and think that both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are complimentary games that work better together than separate… have I got the video for you!
This YouTube person made a video where he follows and tracks the storylines of NPC characters across both games, following their daily routines, and generally seeing how they’ve progressed and grown between the two games!
It’s actually REALLY FASCINATING because there’s so many little details I did not know about from the first game that have payoffs in the sequel. Anyone who complained they didn’t do much with the NPC’s in Tears of the Kingdom would do well to watch this video and see how much character and depth there is!

Here's how to Disable Third Parties (Like AI Companies) from Looking At Your Shit. A Comprehensible Guide.
Tumblr media
If you're on your computer, go to "ACCOUNT" located on the Left <-side bar, and choose for the blog you want to shield from the artificial onlookers. (Side note: You're gonna have to do this to each blog you have... ughhh.. they don't make it easy.) ANyway, choose one of your blogs and click it.
Tumblr media
Once there, go to the Right -> side bar, and click on "BLOG SETTINGS."
Tumblr media
Your Blog's page set up should be set up like this. Now, scroll allll the way down (it's near the damn BOTTOM >:( ) Until you get to a Section Called, "VISIBILITY."
Tumblr media
Here's the "VISIBILITY" section. If you look at the blue bullet right there, you'll see "Prevent third-party sharing for (yourtumblrblogname)". Yours will probably be a gray bullet. Gray means you've switched it to OFF. Blue means it's switched to ON. Make sure the bullet slider is blue. And Bam. You're done (for this blog). No extra save button thankfully or whatever. BUT now you have to go and do the same thing for all your other side blogs. Hope this helps some of my followers. Because the tumblr is set up in a way that gives you multiple setting options for not just each blog, but your account as well. So you'd ASSUME it'd be underneath your account so it could apply to everything! Buuut its not. And here we are. Good luck out there fellow artists. And tumblr? Shame. Live was a mistake, and so was this.

I generally support people who want to ship whatever they want, but pro-shipping in particular is a cancer on fandom and pretty much ONLY exists as an excuse to ship minors with adults.
If you ever see someone tagging a post with “proshipping” you would do well to block that person immediately because I guarantee you that they’re just a pedophile in disguise trying to prey on the younger fans.
Whatever you decide to ship behind closed doors is your own business, but here in public on social media sites where you have to abide by TOS agreements and strict rules about the content you post, pro-shippers often try to skirt the line and force their way into spaces they are NOT welcome.
They’re like terfs trying to use a character’s bi-ness to drown out lesbian/gay relationships by shipping only straight couples. They use the language of queer spaces to try and justify their really messed up points of views. And since a lot of queer spaces are liberal, they often take advantage of our need to treat everyone with some degree of good faith.
Proshipping is bad.
STOP PROSHIPPING
Can Z3lbosa 🤢shippers idk, die? Especially because they are FULLY AWARE of how wrong it is and why. The same goes for other parent child shits (no i do not mean ships, that is NOT what they are) like Kohga and Sooga, who are quite obviously shown to have an age gap and Kohga canonically took sooga in as a child. Anyways, I need to rant about this because these z3lbosa shippers are getting ON MY NERVES
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wow! Look at that! Official confirmation BY NINTENDO that Urbosa is a MOTHER FIGURE to Zelda. ADOPTIVE OR NOT, THEY ARE STILL A FAMILIAL RELATIONSHIP, therefore it is BORDERLINE INCEST, to ship them. Which, news flash, incest is illegal.
“Oh but they’re not actually related 🤓” okay, disgusting but anyways, let’s go on to another reason why this is wrong.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh! Look at that! URBOSA IS A FORTY SEVEN YEAR OLD WOMAN, AN ADULT. And Zelda, is 16 which means she is a MINOR, aka someone who isn’t fully developed yet, and you know what this means?? This means it’s PEDOPHILIA, which is ILLEGAL and quite frankly sickening.
No it is not “hot” or “quirky” it is illegal, and disgusting, and by supporting this you are a SICK human being. If you ship them and you weren’t aware of this, which, I have no clue how you wouldn’t be, I hope you do realize how god awful WRONG it is.
“Oh but, in my au Zelda is aged up🤓🤓” this is just a poor excuse for proshipping and you know it. That doesn’t change the fact that Urbosa sees Zelda like her own daughter and that she even held her as a baby.
Tumblr media
And, not to mention, Urbosa held Zelda as a BABY, she helped RAISE HER. So enough of this “oh look they were cuddling in the Urbosas hand memory we should ship them” no, that was Urbosa being a caring MOTHER to Zelda and you damn well know that. All you sick monsters do is fetishize a mother and her child because it’s “hot” or “cute” or whatever, which, it’s really not, it’s just illegal, and honestly sickening.
I don’t understand WHY any of you think this is okay, especially when you KNOW that it’s both pedophilia and incest. If you so desperately need to ship Urbosa with something, WHY don’t you ship her with Zelda’s MOTHER??? They were known to be friends at the very least and to have been around the same age, which is LEGAL and not PEDOPHILIA.
God you people make me sick, apologies for the rant but i had to address it in hopes (false hopes most likely) that I could fix SOMEONE.

This video is about Shadow of the Colossus and not about The Legend of Zelda, but it touches upon some questionable trends that I’ve seen in Zelda theory videos lately on YouTube.
Specifically that people are ascribing western values and intent onto eastern game design and development, and that many of the Zelda theories that came out surrounding Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom boarder line into fan fiction territory rather than actual theory crafting.
Since I’ve made it clear that I am annoyed at these fan theorists on YouTube for coming up with blatantly wrong interpretations that they then criticize as gospel, elements of this Shadow of the Colossus analysis hit home pretty hard.
You might get something out of this video, or you might not. But I thought it was relevant enough to my blog that I wanted to share it.

You're my comfort.
in BOTW Impa tells Link that 100 years ago his presence always brought comfort to Zelda and something like giving her strength too.
this should take place around pre-Totk after Link returns the master sword to be restored in the forest, where he can be free to be himself.

I’m gonna explain this one last time…
1. SOME of the towers/shrines were taken down and their materials repurposed. Either by the direction of Zelda or by Purah to make the new tech and sky cannons.
2. The rest of the towers/shrines were destroyed by the gloom or by the Yiga.
The evidence for this are the fact that all previous tower/shrine locations are either
1. A clean dirt patch with minimal scarring of the land showing the care and attention utilized to make as little impact as possible.
2. Enemy camps, both Ganon and Yiga related.
3. Giant gloom patches and holes in the ground that go down to the depths.
The whole “Zelda got rid of them” excuse is only 1/3rd of the reason why they’re not there. There’s a number of explanations for why they’re missing and you need to consider those explanations on a case by case basis. No one explanation accounts for all of the missing shrines/towers.
And also the final non-canon explanation is simply “it’s a video game, chill out.”
Zelda theorist: “There’s a lot of unanswered questions in Tears of the Kingdom!”
Me: “you’re right! Let’s hear what you’ve got!”
Zelda theorist: “Where did all the Sheika tech go between games???”
Me: “uh… they dismantled them? That tech was used over the course of 100 years to murder and destroy innocent lives. Nobody wants to see that happen again. Also Purah repurposed it all? Did you not see the guardian arms that come out of the ground at every Lookout Tower?”
Zelda Theorist: “How did we never see the sky islands before now?”
Me: “well, there’s two thoughts on that. First maybe the time travel works like in Back to the Future where events only begin to shift and change after the initial time travel event happens. The other more simplistic explanation if you prefer a closed loop time travel theory is that they were hidden by a cloud barrier ala Skyward Sword. This is backed up by the Light Dragon breaking through the barrier at the beginning of the game and by the Temple of Time side quest.”
Zelda Theorist: “how come no one remembers Link?”
Me: “plenty of people remember Link. Especially around the Castle Town area. The further out and into remote areas people’s recognition gets foggy.”
Zelda theorist: “Nintendo clearly doesn’t care about the canon of the games!”
Me: “wait what? Seriously? ….you guys are kinda bad at this whole theorizing aspect, aren’t you???”

I’m just really really frustrated with how ignorant so many people are to how movies and films are made that they can make wild accusations and people just… believe it. Without question.
It’s like the whole hatred towards Kathleen Kennedy. She’s one of the biggest producers in Hollywood. She helped green light some of the biggest movies in the last half century. Movies like Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, Twister, Roger Rabbit, Schindler’s List, Gremlins, Land Before Time, The Goonies, and E.T
But you’d never know that if you listen to any of the asshats on YouTube crying and screaming over her because she ALSO happens to produce the new Star Wars stuff by Disney.
…. Which curiously she doesn’t get credit for when it’s stuff they like such as The Mandelorian, Andor, or Ashoka, but DOES get blamed when it’s stuff like Last Jedi or Boba Fett… wonder why that is (ps: it’s the sexism).
So when I see people saying “this movie is going to be awful because X producer also made X movie” I just die a little inside because that’s not a quantifiable metric. Producers FUND movies. They don’t actively make them or shape them. That’s what Directors and Writers are for.
This basic misunderstanding and name blaming just infuriates me.
Producer of Morbius and one of the writers for Rise of Skywalker are handling the live action zelda movie
