Finally I get to be on a non-Shiver team!..but then didnt have much time to draw. This was just a dumb doodle I did, but then liked it so I turned it into this. This theme was pretty cool, but dumb that the question was “which one is real” because aliens are the most plausible choice. But also why aliens anyway? My character for Out of the Abyss campaign. Mr. Gilford Warmflagon and his clay defender Potifer. He’s just a happy lil halfling that wants to get back home to drink his morning coffee and make pottery for his neighbors.🥺

I wanted to make an artificer that’s more out of the ordinary. Since artificers can use any set of tools as a spell casting focus, Gilford uses a set of pottery tools to create unique pots with different magical abilities for each spell. Then chose the Battle Smith subclass so he basically created a clay pot golem friend. He comes from humble beginnings in a happy little village of other happy little folks where the hardest task of the day is deciding what to cook for dinner. Now he’s wound up on an awful trek to escape the underdark, but he still finds a look on the bright side and smile each day.
