how i think bruce and brandy's first meeting went down ⋆.⟡♡

okay so i like to think that bruce and brandy met when they were both still pretty young adults.

at this time, brozone had just broken up so bruce was still really recognizable. knowing this, bruce kinda just expected everyone he met to have some kind of crush or infatuation with him due to brozone's popularity. brandy, is the first person he meets who treats him like any other guy.

i imagine they first meet a few weeks after the breakup. bruce is getting chased by a mob of fans and reporters and stumbles upon vacay island. he uses his hair to climb up the wall and ends up climbing onto her after mistaking her for part of the mountain. he apologizes (after being temporarily stunned by her beauty) and she says its fine, and this is instantly the most laidback non family member he'd ever interacted with so he's already intrigued, not to mention the first islander he'd ever seen.

buttt while he's googoo eyeing her, the mob catches up to wall and bruce ducks down in her hand, covering his head. he pleads for her to not give him up and she gets them to leave.

mob: did you see spruce from brozone? we saw him go this way!

brandy, glancing at bruce in her palm: sorry, he’s not here!

bruce ofc would thank her and say something melodramatic about how hard it is to be the heartthrob only for her to giggle with a roll of her eyes.

bruce chuckles too, confused and a little offended but wiggling his eyebrows regardless: what’s so funny. not convinced?

brandy, laid back but flirty: i didn’t say anything. i’ve gotta jet. see you around, heartthrob.

from this point on, bruce spends the next few years pursuing her for the fact that she’s the first person to not instantly fall head over heels for him and bc she’s pretty. she entertains his antics for a while, especially when it starts to become clear that his feelings for her have shifted from him trying to heal his injured ego to a genuine crush. i like to think she kisses him on the cheek after her serenades her on the beach. and the rest is historyyyyyy.

lowkey very much highkey wish they put the movie versions of some of the songs on the soundtrack even just as lil bonuses bc im obsessed with how the “gooooo” notes just keep stacking and how you can hear when each brother joins in.

also i know everyone’s been memeing bitty b’s singing voice for it just being JT pitched up but i genuinely like it?? 😭 like yeah ik it sound a little weird but i genuinely think it sounds like the kid they got to voice bb’s speaking lines and i unironically sing along to the actual song in this pitch just bc it’s easier for me to hit (i can’t sing low lmao) plus i think it adds a nice soprano sound when the boys are all singing together and makes the harmony feel fuller.

ALSO WHY TF DIDNT THEY PUT THE PRACTICE VERS OF PERFECT WITH POPPY ON THE SOUNDTRACK ITS SO GOOD PLUS I LOVE THE PART WITH THE DOUBLE “rewindddd” and poppy’s sassy lil “a-rewiiiindUH”

AND HOW DAREEEE THEY NOT PUT SWEET DREAMS ON THE ALBUM???? it scratches my brain sooo well and it’s one of the only songs from the twins that you can loudly and clearly hear veneer’s voice!! like i can hear him in the other songs but he’s singing bass and vel’s so loud that she sometimes drowns him out (not saying i don’t love her voice bc it’s AMAZINGGGG)

anyway that’s it’s that’s the post i need band together to go ahead and come to streaming for FREE bc i’m insane.

you’re absolutely right, they butt heads the SECOND they meet

well okay not the second they meet, they shake hands politely and get each other’s names before Denji starts causing problems

D: “you sure you’re the protag of this joint? kinda little, ain’t you?” and Denji, bless his soul, doesn’t see much wrong with this genuine question but Eren takes IMMEDIATE offense.

E, folding his arms: “look who’s talking! what’s your power, huh?! filing papers?”

D, ripping off shirt: “You wanna see my power?”

E, raising both of his hands to his mouth: “yeah! if you don’t run crying from mine first!”

queue both of them powering up. when the steam clears and Denji relaizes he has to look up to see Eren now he’s HEATED so he starts climbing up Eren’s titan legs and they get into a tussle

Power, Aki, Armin, and Mikasa are also there.

Armin takes a step away from the pair the moment they start yelling at each other, taking an annoyed Aki with him

Armin, when he’s met with a look of confusion: just- just trust me, it’s about to get really weird.

both Power and Mikasa jump into the fight when Denji starts swinging, and from that point on Armin and Aki just watch until they all tire themselves out and the boys are left breathless on the ground.

Denji, panting: “I’ve gotta admit, that was pretty cool.”

Eren, weakly throwing a hand over to pat Denji’s chest: “Yeah, you too. You too, man.”

They immediately both reach out their hands again to hold each other in a closer way like they did before in ep 6. Uzi didn’t even LOOK at N she just. Did it like they’ve been doing this forever. They look to each other when they’re scared and find comfort in each other’s arms when they’re supposed to be the last person they should be close to. They have both been through so much but deserve to have a good ending ughhh I hate them
