well okay not the second they meet, they shake hands politely and get each other’s names before Denji starts causing problems

queue both of them powering up. when the steam clears and Denji relaizes he has to look up to see Eren now he’s HEATED so he starts climbing up Eren’s titan legs and they get into a tussle 

Power, Aki, Armin, and Mikasa are also there.

Armin takes a step away from the pair the moment they start yelling at each other, taking an annoyed Aki with him

Armin, when he’s met with a look of confusion: just- just trust me, it’s about to get really weird.

both Power and Mikasa jump into the fight when Denji starts swinging, and from that point on Armin and Aki just watch until they all tire themselves out and the boys are left breathless on the ground.

Denji, panting: “I’ve gotta admit, that was pretty cool.” 

Eren, weakly throwing a hand over to pat Denji’s chest: “Yeah, you too. You too, man.”

Okay okay sooooo you know how I said I had TWO Black Clover OC’s for you all

You’ve met Ariadne Grimmwolf our mask wearing shy protagonist with an unknown magic type and unnatural strength. Like Yami is a foreigner and later becomes a Squad captain herself stealing away Yami’s spotlight by claiming Asta for herself (and maybe Yuno that’s up to you guys let me know if you want the brothers to stay together). You’ve met her, she’s got two chapters written about her.

And if you have kept up with my works you’ll note I did have two others that I deleted after a short time Mor and Selene Grimm. Why did I delete them? They didn’t fit into the storyline I needed with Ariadne.

Mor was intended to incorporate a little bit of Celtic myth aka she was to be the Morrigan- but I decided afterwards that she didn’t work with Ariadne and I didn’t feel like world building something that wouldn’t make sense in the long run.

Selene was supposed to be similar to Ariadne, foreign and used an unknown ability- originally I was going to have them have the same magic type (again this wouldn’t work for Ariadne) which I’ll keep a secret for now and instead of isekai-ing her like I originally planned I was going to play around with the idea of the Sun (Yami’s homeland) and the Moon (Selene’s).

But on the other hand I have been working on two others I could potentially have work alongside Ariadne’s character.

1. Iris Blayne

Iris is a soft spoken and well mannered commoner magic knight from the Golden Dawn, she has Illusion magic and like most of my characters she’s got her secrets for the audience to find out. She has a terrible childhood riddled with bullying and trauma, her village rendered her and her adoptive mother outcasts because her adoptive mother had little control of her magic and placed a curse upon those who killed her- Iris was made to watch at age ten. I’m sorry Iris it’s for character building I swear.

Iris and Ariadne’s relationship would be one of friends, through William, they even conspire to get Charlotte and Yami together. Both women are quite skittish but while Ariadne is still a very very shy person- who has her own layers it’s more likely that Iris will call out someone’s bullshit than Ariadne ~ especially since Iris is a highly protective person of those she cares for. 10/10 would befriend.

2. Tahlia Spiridon

Tahlia is a commoner from the Clover Kingdom capital who runs tinkering store but has been known to have a little booth during Markets time (where she sells her tinkerings and things). Though I’m considering making her Ariadne’s vice captain or Jack’s. She’s crafty and kind and has no qualms putting people in their place (or telling people they should remove the stick up their ass, it can’t be any good for them). Tahlia is super friendly and knows a lot of things… and I mean a lot of things that she probably shouldn’t know. I haven’t quite decided on her magic type yet so stay tuned. She seems to pop up when she’s needed and is often the spokesperson for the commoners with her suggestions and feedback. She also LOVES animals- crazy cat animal lady alert

Tahlia and Ariadne’s relationship is friendly, often offering the other advice and help- Tahlia has popped into a few Captains meetings after meeting Julius and Marx often (you know how Julius is) and as a spokesperson for the commoners she’s been known to pop into said meetings to offer thanks or invites to festivities…. Or simply being dragged in by the Wizard King while she’s tinkering. Ariadne and Tahlia do end up becoming close friends and as I’ve said Tahlia offers her tinkerings and advice in regards to training Asta (and potentially Yuno)

I would like to remind you that the options here for the other BC character are Iris or Tahlia or even both where we can have fun with all three from their friendships to potential relationships and more. So please please let me know your thoughts- it would be a great help. And again please let me know if you want Ariadne to take on Yuno as well when I reach the magic knights entrance exam

I love how you draw Grim the size of a small cat. It genuinely blows my mind that according to the game he's actually approximately 70 cm tall... Like, Ortho is 148 cm. That's only two Grims! If Grim stands on Ortho's head, they'd be just a bit taller than Malleus (who is 202 cm and I'm not sure that's counting the horns)! The proportions are just so wild to try to imagine realistically... (and I do like the small cat Grim take more, it's very endearing)

every time I remember Grim is actually supposed to be the size of, like, a medium-to-largeish dog, and then I just...draw him cat-sized anyway. I also think it's cuter that way! 🤷 (let's just say he's not allowed to ride the servant unless he takes the shrinking potion first.)

ultimately I figure we all get a little artistic license in our fanart, and mine are:

I think a lot about how we only get like one or two scenes of law actually interacting with his little sister, but it’s so glaringly obvious what kind of older brother he was to her through all his interactions as an adult. every time he pulls a morbid prank on the strawhats; the genuine joy of reuniting with his crew; his protectiveness and the way his crew’s safety comes before anything else. it’s so clear what a loving, doting, and insufferable older brother he must’ve been. you know if they grew up together he would’ve done that thing that older siblings do where they lie to you about how the world works and then just let you believe it until you’re like, 25. he would’ve walked her to school and tied her shoes for her and earnestly attempted to help her with her homework. and it kills me a little bit that I don’t think law recognizes that in himself; that the parts of him that were lami’s brother and his parent’s son are still alive and well in who he is today.
