Kakashi: Ah, Sakura; I completely forgot you were coming. *hugs her* How’s my adorable little student doing today?

Sakura: *moves out of Kakashi’s arms, wrinkling her nose* I’m fine. Hope you don’t mind, I brought Ino. Sensei … were you eating garlic?

Kakashi: Oh … yeah. I read that raw garlic was supposed to be good for you to eat, so —

Sakura: Sensei, it reeks in here. You’ve been neglecting your cleaning again, haven’t you?

Kakashi: Er, well …

*Ino looks around; there are food dishes stacked high on the table, clothes everywhere, and garbage bags piled up in the kitchen*

Sakura: *goes to open a window* Sensei, gather up all of your dirty clothes; I’m going to drop them off at that overnight laundry place and I’ll bring them back tomorrow morning. Ino, you get started on the dishes. I’m going to get a broom and mop and see if I can make the floor visible again. And when you’re done getting your clothes, Sensei, take out that damn garbage and then go into that bathroom and take a bath. Understood?!

Kakashi: Y-yes, ma’am … *moves quickly to do as he was told*

Sakura, to Ino: See? What’s attractive about that??

I don’t have much since there’s a lot of ways you can do it, but something important to keep in mind is to have fun. If you aren’t having fun, or maybe writing isn’t for you, don’t feel pressured to continue! I only write for fun and practice, so never feel forced to do anything.

While I’m talking about forced work, never force yourself to write anything you don’t want to. And never make yourself write requests you’re uncomfortable with! Again, writing is for fun.

Im not a professional or anything like that, so you could probably get better advice from more experienced writers, but this is just some stuff I’d find helpful when I first began! Also, your English is really good.

You know, I don't necessarily buy into the idea of "you die twice; once when your heart stops beating, and the second when you are forgotten" because I don't think we're truly forgotten.

Throughout history, we've found proof of people existing, well after their death, well after they've been forgotten by their community and time. Even if we do not have names for these people, we know they were alive. We touch their bones, and we internalize their lives. We learn how they lived through the stories we interpret from their bones, and then we tell others about them. They haven't been forgotten, and it's not unlikely that you won't be forgotten.

Why is it that we only "count" if we are immortalized in the history books, if we scar time to the point nothing would be the same if we were forgotten?
