A Yule ball tale of nerves and romance - Blaise Zabini.

You don't remember when exactly, but you have been crushing on this man for AGES

You've gotten really good at hiding it, your facade didn't even falter once you guys became 'friends.'

Little do you know, Blaise is absolutely mesmerized by you. Like, that man watches you like a HAWK; it's like he's constantly trying to memorize every little detail about you, down to the freckles scattered across your face and how you furrow your brows when you're struggling with math calculations.

That's why it was so easy for his friends to catch on. Everyone saw it but you two.

After ALOT of persuasion (and a few threats from Draco (Thanks buddy) ) Blaise finally agreed to ask you out.

As if the 'intervention' never happened, Blaise started pretending he was going to do that anyway, that he wasn't nervous in the slightest. All while you were entirely clueless on what was to happen soon.

FINALLY (much to Draco's relief), it was the day Blaise was supposed to ask you out.

The man followed you to the library even though he had no work there. (as always.)

You sat together, alone, at the table. Blaise was the only one aware of the tension between you, with your knees touching and you wearing his jacket. As much as he hated to admit it, he was nervous. He didn't know what you'd say, how you'd react, or maybe you'd just stop talking to him entirely, avoiding him in the hallways like you've been avoiding Seamus (long story)

He finally decided there was 'no time like the present' when you left to get a textbook. He quickly retraced your steps and found you at a bookshelf, more secluded than the others.

He saw you struggling and trying to reach some books. Hesitantly he went to help you, preparing himself with all the possible jokes he could make about your height.

He reached for the book and you turned around, ready to thank him when you realized how close you actually were. and how easy it would be to kiss him oh.my.god.

Finally, he wasn't the only one feeling the tension.

"hi" you breathed out, taking in the depth of his dark brown eyes and how he looked so handsome in his uniform that it was almost cruel.

He did the same, the light from the window beside the two of you made you look like the angel you were, and your eyes looked like pools of gold, lit up by the sun. He noted the messiness of your hair, that somehow only made you look prettier, he watched the way your eyelashes fluttered. And Finally, he prayed and hoped you didn't see the way he melted at the sight of you.

He didn't even realize when the words started spilling out "Can I ask you something?"

before you could reply he began talking again. you weren't sure he understood what he was saying either but you tried to make sense of the string of "uhm" "maybe it's a bad idea" "Seamus" "uhh" and other more 'colorful' vocabulary. You only realized what he was trying to do when you heard the words 'yule' and 'ball', in that order.

"Blaise." He instantly stopped talking, hating how much he loved the way his name rolled off your tongue.

And before either of you could realize it, your lips were on his. he pulled you close almost instantly (after the shock wore off) and the two of you moved in sync. It was the most natural thing ever as if being in his arms was second nature.

Reluctantly he pulled away, but any nervousness he had only washed away, butterflies taking their place. "Can I be your date to the yule ball?"

You nodded, the ghost of a smile lingering on your lips as you went in to kiss him again. (And it only got better the second time around.)

You were the one to pull away now, giggling softly while he smiled brightly.

And neither of you stopped when Madam Irma Pince, the Hogwarts Librarian shushed you as she walked by, completely oblivious to what just happened.

He should have expected it, really. But he was a little drunk and so was she and they were sitting closely and now they were both really in trouble.

‘Because,’ he said, trying to be calm, act like he could say these things without his heart choking him.

‘Because,’ she pushed. He knew she knew. She had to know.

‘Because you’re obviously extremely attractive, Granger,’ he snapped.

‘I’ve gone back to Granger, have I?’ She asked archly, though she couldn’t hide the colour rising on her cheeks.

‘It’s probably for the best,’ he told her truthfully.

‘I like it when you say my name,’ she said. He thought his heart might have actually, literally skipped a beat. The whiskey glass was forgotten between them.

‘Do you?’

She nodded. ‘Do you like it when I say yours?’

‘Yes,’ he answered honestly. She smiled.

‘That’s good then.’

‘Hermione.’

‘Draco.’

‘Friends should be able to use each other’s names,’ he said hoarsely, to try and remind himself of their agreed relationship.

‘Friends should,’ she nodded sincerely.

A/N: Ooh, this one was hard! Honestly, I had never really thought about that – or wanted to think about it … but here it goes:

PS: I didn't want to write about ideal body types, so I left that bit out – hope that is alright!

Mattheo …

… doe eyes – does not matter which color (although brownie points for brown eyes) – he’d spend hours just staring into your eyes. If you know how to use your eyes to your advantage, you’ll have him wrapped around your finger.

… pouty lips with a defined cupid’s bow. He’d always have to kiss you whenever he glimpsed at your lips – which was quite often. Be prepared to be kissed all. The. Time. Even during classes – which got you both detention for inappropriate displays of affection.

… he loves long hair, especially curly or wavy hair. Whenever he’s bored, he’ll twirl your curls around his finger.

… he needs a loving, affectionate, soft partner. He’s quite needy and possessive, so he’ll need someone who’ll constantly reassure him without judging him for being overly possessive.

… however, he’d bee head over heels if you also have some sass to you: Sweet, loving but make it spicy.

… loves sneakers and his hoodies on you. Especially if his hoodies still smell like him. The thought of his smell marking you makes him want to go feral.

… would love someone who is inexperienced ... because let’s be honest: the thought of you having been with other people would drive him mad and rob him of his sleep.

Theodore …

… loves long hair as well. He’d try to braid your hair for you – he’d lowkey be possessive over your hair and get angry whenever someone else touches it.

… thinks he wants a more sultry-seductive-siren-like partner, but I think he’d simp for a golden-retriever-type-of partner.

… would secretly wish for you to cook and bake for him – especially Italian dishes and pastries.

… he loved his late mom but she was taken too early from him, which is why he needs someone nurturing, mature and someone who tells him when he’s in the wrong – he won’t like his partner telling him what to do though, especially if he isn’t completely in love with them.

general theodore nott headcanons

• theo is the textbook defintion of dark academia

• his wardrobe is only filled with varying shades of black, grey, brown, and green; he mostly wears suits, but when he wants to feel comfortable, he'll thrown on a knit sweater

• he is very quiet - around people he doesn't know, he doesn't speak; around his friends, even, he doesn't speak too much

• he is highly intelligent; he's literally right up there with hermione, top of the class

• does a lot of free reading - mostly nonfiction but will tell no one about the romance novels hiding under his mattress

• sleeps around because parent issues - even though he doesn't really speak, he still gets bitches . . . probably because he is handsome af and also cause when he does speak, he is smooth

• he plays quidditch, though he doesn't care too much for it - when draco saw how good theo was on a broom, he begged and begged theo to join quidditch until he finally agreed

• does smoke, but would stop if you asked him too

• he is the adopted introvert . . . prove me wrong

• he's only really close with blaise, but because mattheo and blaise are best friends (by the transitive property of arithmetic), mattheo and theo are good friends too

• he's extremely protective (and slightly possessive) of the people he loves, probably because he lost his mother and he's afraid to lose the people he loves too

• scary dog privileges

• was almost sorted into ravenclaw

• loves winter and fall too much - he kind of looks out of sorts in the warmer months

• has never worn a pair of shorts in his life . . . i'm not kidding

Ethan Dalton and Celeste Dalton are siblings. However, they're total polar opposites. Celeste is bubbly, outgoing, flirty and dramatic. Meanwhile, Ethan is introverted, reclusive, quiet and stoic.

I added lots and lots of headcanons (sorry), so in my mind, their playthroughs happened parallel with each other.

Ethan is very academic and studious. He stays in his own lane, does his own thing, unbothered. Celeste is popular and is involved with everything and everyone. She's a flirt, for sure. Florin Kraemer, eat your heart out.

Ethan decided to pursue higher education at a prestigious university, while Celeste decided to have fun with an art gallery apprenticeship. Her end goal is to become a fashion designer and start her own haute couture house.

In both playthroughs, Gallatin won. None of them ended up married. Lady Renaldt got exposed, and the good Dalton family name was restored.

Ethan got thrown in the mines (yikes!) while Celeste was busy fooling around with her boytoys. You'd think that she'd notice her brother being gone, but it's kind of hard when there are so many guys fighting for your attention :/

I scoured the author's blog to find any clues about the fashion in CLDC. I didn't want to put them in their school uniforms (which would've just been easier honestly), and since the zeitgeist of the CLDC universe is actually... not THAT set in stone (I even looked at other people's MC to make sense of what the fashion should look like) I just ended up taking inspo from dark/light academia, old money and coquette aesthetics. Can you tell that Celeste is very Lana Del Rey coded? :)

Celeste is incredibly arrogant, vain and bold. For better or for worse. Ethan also has a tendency to look down on people he deems to be less intellectual than him.

Celeste had a hate-love thing with Blaise. Ethan wondered why she needed two snarky dark-haired dudes in her life. He pretty much avoided everyone, and the closest thing he had to romance was with Prince Rosario of all people!? So much for trying to be low-profile.

Ethan has to constantly drag Celeste out of dumb situations of her own making. Celeste has to constantly remind Ethan that people, even him, need human interaction.

Honestly the only reason why they managed to save the family's reputation is because Ethan was working behind the scenes and cleaned up Celeste's love scandals.

They're part east/southeast asian, part middle eastern and part european.

Ethan loves birds, especially corvids. He spends more time with birds than he does with people. His earring is supposed to resemble a raven.

Celeste is part of the Prefect Committee. Ethan is a member of the Birchmeier Society.

Ethan is 5'11, Celeste is 5'5.

Had to restart the playthrough because of this, but in Celeste's playthrough, she decided to dance with Auguste at the ball. After that chapter ended, it triggered multiple consecutive scenes, one after another, where literally ALL of the characters had the "what are we???" talk with her. Can't believe the harem found out.

i’m at the top of my class bcs either here or in any of my drs i will always be an academic weapon (i luv academic validation) my fav subjects are astronomy & charms but my top marks are from DADA & latin, i am good at other subjects as well except herbology (i can’t keep anything alive under my supervision for more than 2 hours)

my background: i started in hogwarts for year 1- 2 and transferred to ilvermorny for third year for family purposes, in there i was in the thunderbird house and that’s when i started my niche (either professionally skate or professionally play chess) i will be transferring back to hogwarts in year 4 !

tbh i made this reality not only exclusively to date (i desperately want to get fucked) but also to just be a badass academic weapon and be hot and miserable in a dark academia way.

See the thing about Pansy and Hermoine (Pansmoine) vs Ronmoine is that I have no real reason to prefer Pansmoine. I just do.

Like ok I know some people don’t like ronmoine cause of the movies but they were cute in the books (from what I remember). They have that bickering married couple vibe. But PANSMOINE has that dark academia we fell in love through hexes and secret meetings in the library vibes.

Like Pansy stole Hermoine’s first kiss. She used to hex Ron for being so close to Hermoine. Pansy getting annoyed that Hermoine was always called “Potter’s girlfriend”. Pansy getting protective over Hermoine’s title as the “brightest witch of her year”. Pansy who struggled with loving a mudblood and living up to the expectations of her death eater asian parents.
