“you’ve changed.” [10th to 11th Doctor / Reader]
Fandom: Doctor Who
Ship: 10th/11th Doctor / Reader
Word Count: 1947
Summary: After an argument with The Doctor, and leaving the TARDIS, you went back to your semi-normal life, but due to some nightmares, and maybe fate, you never thought you would meet the same alien with a new face.
Request: nope
Tumblr media
He used to call you “my Cinnamon”.
“You’re sweet like cinnamon, love.” He would usually say that to you every time he would back hug you, and you didn’t mind it.
But now, that moment is now just a memory.
Five months ago, that was the last time you saw the blue police box vanish into thin air on your back lawn, The last time you and The Doctor talked, it didn’t end on good terms, both of you were practically yelling in the TARDIS, and you walked out of there, and moments later, the TARDIS vanished.
“Actually, you know what? Don’t bother even coming back here, I hate cinnamon anyways.” sure it was childish for him to say that, but both of you were in high temper so all sense of logic was thrown out of the window.
With that being said from him, you just left the TARDIS right after that event,
It’s been a while since you’ve been traveling with The Doctor, ever since that day, your life was quiet and normal, it was in a sense, odd. In your current daily life, it was just the sounds of cars, birds, people, and the telly, it was, in a way, oddly boringly normal, you were so used to the sounds of the TARDIS, the whirring of the sonic screwdriver, and of course, The Doctor yapping away about the day’s destination or adventure.
Ever since after that day, you’ve changed.
You try to isolate yourself from people most of the time, and you changed how you looked as well, just to keep your mind off the Doctor. But two things stayed the same, your love for the Doctor, and the fact you couldn’t blame him for what happened that caused the both of you to part from each other.
It doesn’t help that you still get nightmares from some of the adventures, from the Slitheens to the Weeping Angels, a lot of the times, this made you wake up unbearably early in the morning, tonight was one of those nights. Every time it does happen, you silently curse the fact that every nightmare reminded you of him.
You frantically wake up, screaming sometimes, and finding yourself screaming for the Doctor to save you, only to be reminded that you were alone in your space.
Facing the clock on the nightstand, it read, “2:35 AM”, you sighed as you rubbed your face, silently thanking your past self for sleeping at ten in the evening, you dreaded these nights, it always ended up with you staring at the ceiling, waiting for time to pass by, before getting up for work.
Getting up and heading to the bathroom felt like a chore, you looked at the mirror and you noticed the dark shades under your eyes, and the tired look was becoming more obvious as more nightmares happened.
You remembered that every time you had nightmares, the Doctor would be next to you in case, and sometimes even hold you close so you would fall asleep again quickly. That made you confused about your feelings towards the Doctor.
So when the TARDIS vanished for the last time, you were relieved that you didn’t have to be afraid of your feelings about the Doctor, but at the same time, you were hurt beyond comprehension, since you didn’t know when you would see the Doctor again, and you’d fear that you’ll never see him again.
You finally snapped back to reality when your childhood friend, Amy Pond, snapped her fingers in front of your face, “Hey, you alright? Come on, you need to open the coffee shop, you can’t just be daydreaming out here.” She was pushing you downstairs into your own store from your space upstairs, as she was helping you set up. “Thanks, but you didn’t have to help me get my butt out and help me set up, after all, I still owe you a cup,” you say as you put the menus and cups on display.
“Still, you look so down in the dirt for the past few months, and it’s only now I get to see my lovely quirky little best friend.” She handed you your apron, and you nodded and wore it.
“And I didn’t want to bother you, since you were traveling a lot recently with your boyfriend, Rory? Right?” You were getting ready to make a couple of cups for both of you and Amy.
“Yeah, but I had to make time for you.” She smiled as you grabbed a jug of cold brew from the fridge, pouring it into the cups, before handing one to her.
“Also you might wanna add two more cups of coffee since Rory and a friend are coming over in a short while.” She leans on the counter,
“So this friend, do they go with you on travels?” You asked as you started preparing the two drinks,
She nods, “He does, as a matter of fact, he reminds me of you, energetic, quirky, and just an adult child.” she smiles.
“Hey!” you say, playfully pretending to be offended, which made both you and Amy laugh,
The both of you were enjoying your time together, then you went back to professional mode when you heard the bell of the door rung, and two men were entering the shop.
“Okay, Rory, whatever you say.” The taller man, donning a bowtie, told the shorter man as he looked confused,
“Boys.” Amy shot a glare at the both of them, which made them instantly quiet, before turning back to you and dragging the shorter male.
“This is Rory, my boyfriend, and the other..” The taller man froze as he looked at you, which made you confused, there was this feeling that you knew this man, but you weren’t so sure until he spoke.
“C-cinnamon?” He spoke softly as he looked pale and on the brink of tearing up, which made you freeze and the couple confused at his reaction.
“By the way this is..” Amy pointed at the taller man, and as she was about to introduce him, you already knew.
“D-doctor?” You spoke out as you were trying to keep yourself together and not just immediately burst into tears, you had tons of emotions running through your body, but you had to look cool, calm, and collected, you didn’t want to be hurt over again, you don’t want to experience the same pain over again.
“You both know each other?!” Amy exclaimed as she looked at the both of you.
“Ponds, may I talk to her alone.” His voice was a tad bit unstable but gentle and sad. They nodded and went outside the shop.
“Y-you’ve changed.” He started off as he carefully goes closer,
“I should be the one saying that to you, didn’t expect that regeneration did that much.” You bitterly joked as you looked away, not realizing that he was closer than you expected, last time you saw him, he was wearing a striped brown suit, styling his hair in an organized mess sort of way, now he wore a light brown coat, with dark brown pants, adding a bowtie and suspenders to his shirt, and his hair was now a bit longer and was styled properly.
“Look, I know I should’ve apologized sooner, but I didn’t know what to say.” he begins, “I didn’t know what had gotten into me, I didn’t wanna lose you, risk getting you captured or killed, and I… I really didn’t mean what I said back then… I-I’m sorry..” he was tearing up and it was a painful sight to see. “I’m sorry for telling you all those nasty things, I’m sorry I pushed you away, I’m sorry I didn’t apologize to you sooner, I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to tell you how much you mean to me and-” You just suddenly pulled him into a familiar embrace, he immediately melted to your touch, He had missed the way you held him, and for him to be able to feel that again, made him shed more tears.
“Doctor, it’s okay, I’m fine now, Although I’m still recovering from what happened before, I’m much more okay now, all that matters now is that you apologized, and if you want, you can make up for the lost time by staying, but you don’t have to-”
“I want to make up for the lost time.” he says, “and I wanna make up for what I should’ve done back then.”  He slowly looks into your eyes, as you held his cheek and wiped a tear from his face with your thumb.
“Then, Do it, Doctor,” you say as you were now anticipating what he’ll do.
He held the back of your head and slowly kissed you, he was kissing you like he was waiting for this moment for a while, it had a hint of desperation and carelessness, but yet still gentle and passionate, as his other hand was finding yours, slowly intertwining your fingers with his, and deepening the kiss before pressing you against the wall, and with his chest pressing on yours.
The both of you kept on going until the both of you had to catch your breaths,
“I’ve noticed feelings from and for you, Cinnamon, I’m sorry that it took me this long to be able to tell you, that I love you…”
“Enough with the apologies Doctor…” The caffeine was starting to wear off as you were now trying your best to keep your balance and not fall off.
The Doctor notices this, his happy face dropping to a concerned look, holding you, making sure you don’t fall, “Are the nightmares still getting to you?”
You could only nod in response as you yawned.
He thinks for a bit before smiling at you, “Ah yes! I know just the fix!” He helped you up the stairs, to your room, he had first helped you get comfortable on your bed, grabbing the extra pillows and placing them next to you, before finally, removing his jacket and laying next to you, making you lightly blush.
He chuckles as he noticed this, so he scoots closer and cuddles you like how it was before, with your head next to his chest of two hearts, and his arms around your waist, sometimes he would play with your hair and watch you fall asleep. Bit by bit, you let the sleepiness take over you, and the Doctor was now finally happy and whole with you in his arms, He kisses your forehead before he too, drifts off into sleep.
Hours later, you wake up to the Doctor’s arms wrapped snuggly around your waist, you looked up a bit, and he smiled as he looked at you back, “Good Morning Beautiful.” He kissed your forehead as he snuggled up to you since the TARDIS was more chilly than usual.
“Do we have to go somewhere, Doctor?” You asked, silently hoping that this moment would last longer,
“Nope.” He said as he plays with your hair, “Actually, I don’t want to move until we have someplace to be.” He chuckles softly, making you giggle and lightly blush at his response.
“Or is there somewhere you wanna be?” he asks
“Actually, I don’t mind where we go, as long as I’m with you, that’s all I need.” He nodded, “Let’s stay like this a bit more before getting the Ponds for a day in 1890, we’re going to meet a master of color.” He held your hand and kissed it as well, “I can’t wait to be with you for the rest of existence.” He smiled and kissed your forehead once more, “My sweet cinnamon.”

Hi, Could you give the idea of reader x twelfth doctor who has Bill as a companion and who in a few words is a bit of a jealous doctor? either because they met someone great on a trip or because the reader is very much involved in his life on earth.
Thanks!
(yessssssssssssss I need to write more 12)
Jealousy
Rating: G
Pairing(s): 12th Doctor x Reader
Tags/TW: 12 is a jealous lad
You were used to trips not quite going the way you'd planned. It was almost a guarantee. But needless to say, rejecting the marriage proposal of a cyborg queen was... Definitely unexpected.
You, the Doctor, and Bill ran through the mechanical castle. "I don't see why it couldn't work out," Bill said, "I mean, she seemed nice enough-"
"Before she sent her guards after us, you mean?" you replied, just before the hallway began to shift. The three of you were trapped in a dead end that hadn't been there before.
The Doctor hadn't stopped fidgeting with his sonic screwdriver the entire chase, and it seemed that he'd finally found what he was looking for. He pointed it at the wall with a flourish, giving you and Bill a tiny grin before grabbing your hand.
The TARDIS was somewhere in the royal gardens, but with the hallways changing, you had no idea where you were supposed to be going. "Doctor, how are we getting out of here?" you asked, panting.
"I've tuned into the queen's frequency, I can reverse all of her changes," he said, and you frowned.
"So she controls the castle?"
"No. She is the castle. She's integrated it all into her upgrades. Quite foolish actually, once we escape, she won't be able to follow," the Doctor explained, tugging you around a corner.
Bill chimed in, "But the guards will! Right? I mean, they're not a part of the castle, they're just movin' on their own."
The Doctor paused before giving a shrug, saying, "If I'm right, the TARDIS is through that door, and we won't have to worry about it."
So the three of you bolted to the door, which thankfully led out into the gardens. The TARDIS waited patiently in the center of the queen's prized flower bed, and as the sound of mechanical guards closed in, you knew you couldn't risk a look back. The three of you piled into the TARDIS and slammed the door behind you.
Bill immediately tossed her jacket over one of the rails, saying, "Well that was... All kinds of fun but I'm beat, I'll be in the rec room. Let me know when we get back, alright?"
You gave her a smile and a wave while the Doctor gave a soft grunt, circling the console. Bill disappeared down a hallway, and you stepped towards the Doctor.
He yanked a lever and the TARDIS made a tremendous noise; he then quickly pulled the lever back to its original position, grumbling under his breath.
You rested an elbow on the railing. "Doctor?" you asked.
"Hm?"
"What's wrong?"
"Wrong? Nothing's wrong, we're on our way, everything is fine!"
You crossed your arms. "Mhm."
He turned to face you, saying, "What? I answered your question."
You raised an eyebrow and said, "Barely. C'mon, what's wrong?" Taking a step closer, you added, "Can't have anything to do with the fact that I was proposed to today, can it?"
He rolled his eyes and waved a hand at you, turning back to the console. "What, that? Nonsense."
You smirked. "Didn't seem like nonsense when you rejected her for me."
He paused for a moment before flipping a row of switches, saying, "You were hesitating."
You held back a chuckle and said, "That's what you're upset about? The fact that I hesitated, upon hearing that the queen of some planet - that you dragged me to! - wanted to marry me?"
"Oh c'mon, I didn't drag you, you wanted to go on a trip."
"You're avoiding the question and you know it," you said, barely able to hold back a smile.
He halted what he was doing and turned to face you, saying, "And what if I am?"
You shrugged. "Look, if you don't want to talk about it, fine. But if it's bothering you, you can't just avoid it forever." You stepped a little closer and placed a hand on his shoulder, saying, "At the end of the day, I turned her down."
"You did."
"Mhm, 'cause why wouldn't I? I've got everything I want right here."
The Doctor betrayed a small smile.

thirteenth doctor and spymaster fic recs
all clear by wreckageofstars (8k, 1 chapter, thoschei/gen) summary: London’s on fire, the Doctor’s trapped in her own head, and only her worst enemy can save her. //I know I literally always rec this author in these lists, I know, but like if you've read these fics, you'll know I'm justified because they are all just brilliant. This one is no exception. The doctor and the master are so wonderfully on point, with this antagonistic push and pull between them both, whilst they both desperately try and avoid the fact that they actually still care deeply for one another - but they also hate each other's guts at the same time! And the master is there to cause problems on purpose whilst the doctor is an absolute mess post-Orphan 55 and making everything worse. An absolute joy of a fic.
the gardener by riptheh (6k, 1 chapter, thoschei/gen) summary: The Master kills because it's all he has left. Until it's not. //I had a reaaaally hard time picking fics for this post, because there are so many fics with thirteen and spymaster that I absolutely adore - but I knew from the get go that this one had to be on here, come what may. It's much more of a character study focused on the master than anything else, but of course anything about the master is also about the doctor - and it's such a beautiful exploration of the master and his relationship with death (and then, life). Just absolutely gorgeous - and surprisingly uplifting by the end? Anyway. This fic got me good, so definitely make sure you check it out.
the art of dying by lupescx (10k, 4 chapters, thoschei) summary: The Master resurfaces into the Doctor's life only to die—one burst of regeneration energy and he's back on his feet. And then he dies again. And again. She can't keep doing this. //The title might have clued you in, but this one is angsty. Extremely angsty. But, wow, it's absolutely brilliant! What a fantastic exploration of the doctor and the master pushed to their absolute limits and unable to escape from an awful, inevitable cycle. It is pretty dark in places (actually a lot of these fics are, so always heed the tags!) but if that's your jive then this story is just such a treat. Highly recommend!
The Frayed by luchia (90k, 16 chapters, thoschei, wip) summary: The TARDIS recruits a rescue team for the Doctor after the Judoon take her away, and the Master really shouldn't go. Particularly if it includes having to hang around a freakish temporal monstrosity like Jack Harkness. Then again, what does he have to lose? He could die, sure, but that means nothing when he always (always always always) comes back, whether he wants to or not. //Okay so, in my humble opinion, this fic is some of the best spymaster characterisation that I've ever seen across the entire fandom. It's exceptional - the prose is just so full of character, brilliantly unreliable and just so SO fascinating and painful in equal measure (can you tell that I like angst? I love angst so much). And also just the imaginativeness of the story itself is absolutely incredible? There's some fantastic things in there about gallifreyan as a language and Time Lord culture and TARDISes - and, of course, the doctor and the master are completely awful in the best kind of way. And if the word count looks too much for you - consider just reading chapter 16. Yep. Just that one. Like, that rewrote my brain. I read it three times the day that it posted, and I've lost count of how many times I've read it since then. So, like, please. But also you should really really read the entire thing because it's brilliant
Ust-Kut by yonderdarling (1k, 1 chapter, thoschei) summary: Unfortunately, the Master survived. Unfortunately, he finds her TARDIS. Unfortunately, he wants to talk. //Okay. So, this fic? Is possibly one of my favourite spydoc fics ever. And you might be thinking "but, taka, it's only 1k, how can it be?" - well, trust me, it just can. Short but sweet but an absolute gut-punch at the same time. Such a fascinating look at the relationship between these two, the push and pull and the knife edge that they're both on all the time - and it's so tactile? I think that's what gets me about it, if I'm honest. Anyway, absolutely beautiful writing - succinct, but boy, does every word count. It's just so so good, guys.
and without you (is how i disappear) by empty_of_dust (4k, 1 chapter, thoschei) summary: “It’s simple,” she says, impassive, like she’s not holding their very history at knife-point. “Start talking, or I start cutting.” //So, funny story, this author only started posting spydoc fic about a year ago, but oh my word, my guys, they are insanely good. They just get these two in a way that drives me absolutely feral, and their writing style is such a joy to read. I was extremely torn on which fic of theirs to rec, but I settled on this one in the end. The sheer concept of it is absolutely brilliant and gut-wrenching in the most spydoc way ever: a mid-s12 doctor uses the history between her and the master as a bargaining tool to get him to tell her what he discovered in the matrix, blood and biting including. But, yknow. just do yourself a favour and read this author's entire body of work because it is extremely worth it. You won't regret it, I'm sure.
i only speak in silences by daring_elm (2k, 1 chapter, gen) summary: The Doctor can't just leave the Master behind, so she sends him a hologram. //do you ever get a fic that you forget exists, and then you find it again and go OHHHH THIS ONE??? That was me with this fic (and, honestly, this author, who has a ton of great stuff that you should all check out). We all know that the doctor and the master are awful at communicating, but this fic is such a wonderful exploration of it - of the ways that they refuse to be vulnerable with each other, the ways that they are so angry with each other, but also can't help but be drawn back to each other all at the same time. An absolute cracker!
awake and unafraid (asleep or dead) by SleepyMaddy (5k, 1 chapter, thoschei) summary: The Doctor has trouble sleeping. The Master, in typical fashion, makes it worse. //There are so many fics by this author that I could recommend on a post like this, but a spydoc rec post has got to have at least one fic on there that plays with O/13, because it's just such brilliant, painful angst in the softest way. And there are a great many fics that explore it, but this one just takes the cake. Impeccable s12 angst wrapped up in o/13 softness, complete with thirteen making terrible decisions for literally the entire thing. Absolutely astounding writing, beautifully in character and just so painful in the best kind of way. This one killed me, guys. It killed me.
chaos theory by BlueLillyBlue (61k, 11 chapters, gen, wip) summary: The TARDIS has crash-landed in England, 2019, and the Doctor is acting cagey. Also, spacetime might be collapsing. So... Yaz's week isn't off to a great start. //Ohhhh man ok ok. This fic. Is a goldmine. This author is just absolutely SPOT ON with how they write thirteen, and their plots are just an absolute delight and tick soooo many boxes for me. They always make the world they're writing in feel so rich and real, whether that's a starving community on a frozen moon or a hotel in Cornwall. But this one is just so up my street because the master is in it, and oh my GOODNESS guys, it's just - it's just so, so good. If you haven't been following this one along already, then get going on that, stat!
together, we average out to dry land by hawkeishest (1k, 1 chapter, thoschei) summary: If she thought about it, really, this was all Ryan’s fault. He was the one who’d touched the statue. Though, to be fair to him, she should have known the temple would have some kind of psychic defence system. And now her head felt like it was cracking open. //I feel like most people have read this one because it's such a classic, but for anyone who missed it or is new to the fandom - this one is a must read. Absolutely fantastic exploration of the doctor and the master's psychic abilities and the connection between them, written with the most gorgeous descriptions. Just brilliant. Go check it out!

Hello! I was wondering if I could request a little something about the Doctor. I was thinking something along the lines of the Doctors first kiss with the reader, their first ‘I love you’s, first hugs and maybe like first time opening up to each other to have that bond? Obviously not in that order lol just regular fluff and happiness with the Doctor! Thanks!

First hug
"Hey, you doing alright?" you asked quietly. Honestly, you knew the question was more than ridiculous - it was just an inelegant, slightly awkward icebreaker after what you've been through. Although it hasn't been long, barely a few hours, you've quickly learned that he was a prodigy at putting on a brave face. Someone so adamant about making sure everyone lives couldn't just brush off the abrupt end of innocent life. It simply didn't make sense.
"Yeah, sure, I'm doing fine," he answered in a reassuring and lighthearted tone. "Are you okay?"
Despite his best efforts at appearing completely unmoved, you could easily tell he was being dishonest - there was that haunted look in his eyes as if the moment he remembers he was an intelligent entity cursed with compassion and melancholy his tears would melt away his corporeal form. It was like capturing a storm in a plastic bag.
His eyes met yours in a questioning manner: he really was more interested in your well-being rather than the albatross hanging from his neck. It was a strange moment to choose selflessness. After a moment of silence, his stare went back to the console and the buttons he was pushing. You continued to watch him, thinking about the hypothetical sorrow gnawing at his thoughts. Maybe you didn't know him for long, it was difficult to claim you'd known him at all but he definitely didn't seem like someone heartless; the Doctor was many things but cold-hearted was not one of them.
The Doctor looked at you again but for a significantly shorter period as if he could tell by your expression that you weren't buying his facade. Consciously or not, his expression fell, revealing the somberness he tried to hide away.
"Come here."
Pulling him by his arm, you engulfed the Doctor in an embrace. Immediately, he tightly held you close to him, his hands fisting the material of your sweatshirt. It was a strange thing that people let go when they're holding on to someone.
"It's not easy, so don't pretend like it is," you quietly said against his shoulder. The tweed jacket was slightly coarse against your skin, pleasantly keeping you aware of the present moment. "You might not be human but you sure are humane. I know that."
He didn't answer but truthfully, he didn't have to - you knew exactly what was going on when his arms shifted around you, still holding you as close as one holds a fleeting dream of a love long gone.
Opening up
The Doctor was fixing something under the main console. Cables dangled around him, sparks of electricity revealed that the current was still on and any unwise move could have catastrophic consequences. He, however, seemed to be unfazed. It was an impression of him you were still getting used to - a man both hot and cold, simultaneously emotional and rid of all passions.
"Do you ever get scared?"
Momentarily, the Doctor stopped whatever it was he was doing. He looked at you with a grimace of confusion. "I beg your pardon?"
"You know, running around dangerous places, getting stuck at the end of the world in hopeless situations. Do you ever get scared?"
"Sometimes, yeah. Why do you ask?"
"It's just..." For a moment you considered dropping the subject. Would your worries be a little too human, a little too mundane, for him to understand? "I know I get scared, don't even need aliens for that to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I love travelling with you but so many times I find myself in situations where I don't know what to do, I just want to close my eyes and wish the danger away. If you too get scared then maybe I'm not as wimpy as I thought I was."
"Wimpy?" he asked. You gently nodded your head. "Wimpy?" he repeated louder and with more confusion resounding in his voice. You furrowed your eyebrows not understanding what he was getting at. "You're not wimpy, why would you think that?"
"Because I get scared?"
Something about your statement must have struck a significant string in his heart as the Doctor got out from under the console and stood up. His eyebrows were furrowed and you knew that he was adamant to get to the bottom of whatever snake what biting at your heels.
"Scared is good. Scared means you care. You have something to lose. It's very human of you actually."
"When you're scared you never... look scared, at least I can't tell. You just do what you have to do and save the day as if it was just a walk in the park. How do you do that?"
"Because I have something to lose," he answered with a shrug before examining something on the top part of the console. The clicking of buttons echoed throughout the room.
"Which is?"
For a moment he didn't answer and just tapped away on the various controls and keyboards only he could understand. Slowly, his actions came to a halt. The Doctor turned his head to look at you, brave enough only to say one word before going back to fixing some failure in the machinery:
"You." He had that melancholic look in his eyes that he so often wore when he revealed some of his hearts' content. The Doctor's answer surprised you. It seemed so... simple. Mundane to the point of being strange.
Maybe you too had a good reason to both be scared and brave.
First kiss
"You're not actually considering going down there," you said as you looked down the maintenance shaft. It was so dark one could only wonder how far the bottom was. A low groan echoed throughout that seemingly endless metal pit.
"We're kind of out of options. Come on, it's an adventure! I'll be fine."
You weren't sure if his lighthearted mood was a sign of confidence or stupidity - a certain lack of realization of his chances of survival.
"Looks more lik a one way ticket to me."
"Nonsense," he dismissed your worries. "It's just a dead-end road. Have to make a U-turn at the end and you're on your way home. Easy-peasy!"
It was quite clear he wasn't going to negotiate his own plan filled with insanity and a ridiculous amount of sheer luck.
"Just..." you began but promptly stopped, momentarily overwhelmed by the very real possibility of him not coming back. And what were you to do then? A deep sigh left your lips before you finished your thought. "Just come back to me."
Without thinking much, realizing that this could very well be the last time you see that madman, you grabbed his clothes and pulled him in. His lips crashed against yours and the joy this passion brought was very much like fireworks: intense and burning but over a little too soon for the desperate heart to satisfy its yearning. You feel the same longing in his own movements, although it's significantly more reserved as if he was holding back, not yet ready to let the addictive feeling consume him.
"Well, now I have to," he murmured under his breath.
First "I love you"
"Alright, so what do you need?" you asked in a hurried tone. You were running out of time and the alarm siren did not make it any easier to focus on the task at hand. In fact, the longer you were inside the engineering deck, among red emergency lights and deafening sirens, the more you began to panic. The water flooding the ship made you aware of your own mortality with each wave brushing against your legs.
"I'd need another one of those gem things, the internal structure of the crystal makes it an excellent electricity conductor."
"Like... graphite?"
"Yes! Like graphite!"
Suddenly, you became aware of the rumbled sudoku notebook in the back pocket of your jeans. You shoved it in there along with a pencil when the Doctor flew right by you yelling at you to start running. It was fascinating what kind of pastimes travelling with the Doctor made you pick up.
"You're not going to believe this," you told him between chuckles. As if you were pulling a rabbit out of a magician's hat, you showed the pencil to the Doctor.
His face immediately lit up. He grabbed your face before kissing your forehead. "I love you!" the Doctor exclaimed excitedly.
Then he snatched the pencil from your hand and turned around to run in the direction of the engines. The Doctor ran maybe a few meters before making a sudden turn - for some reason, he had to return to you. There was something strange about how he looked at you as if he saw something more than you; like he had life-changing knowledge he never dared to share with you.
"I mean it," he said in a serious tone while vaguely pointing his finger at you.
Before you could answer him or even ask for clarification, he was already back on track with his near-miraculous plan of saving the day.
"Right back at you, you crazy old man," you said under your breath.

hi i saw your prompt list and was wondering if you could do that "do you kiss your mother with that mouth prompt" with the tenth doctor :)
10th Doctor x G/N reader
TW: Swearing obviously:)
Tumblr media
It had been a lovely little trip with the Doctor, he had taken you to the small yet thriving city of Cashine for a peaceful day out. The two of you had wandered through a plethora of gardens, filled with some of the most lovely flowers you had ever seen.
As you skipped through a new leafy archway, the Doctor lingered a bit behind you looking at the lavender sky and pink clouds, with the greenery surrounding you balancing it nicely. He had mentioned earlier in your journey that this planet was well-known for its copious species of flowers and herbs used all around the galaxy.
Most of the gardens were in greenhouses to assure protection for the plants, but this was the first you had been to that was built similarly to a maze. It made for a challenging walk, but you still enjoyed it all the same.
You walked for a bit more as the Doctor was explaining why the sky was such a lovely color before coming upon a new arch made of some sort of orange flower that had enticed you more than anything else so far. From that arch, a pale blue sign hung below it with a sentence saying, "Flower Adoption Center."
"Doctor?"
"Yes, love?"
"I'd assume that this means we can pick flowers for ourselves right?" you asked excitedly.
"I suppose it does," he replied with a large grin, loving to see your excitement.
He had been fairly quiet while walking around all the gardens up until the few minutes before this, simply just taking in the beauty dancing around him, though the flowers weren't a bad view either.
"What if we went and picked flower bouquets for each other??" you giggled.
"If you want to," he replied with a shrug. He didn't really care what you wanted to do, as long as your happiness never faded.
The two of you wandered away from each other for a bit as you found beautiful flowers of blue and purple, some shaped like stars that actually glittered, and some that were round and fluffy, smelling of sweet honey. Those same orange flowers that decorated the arch found you along with reds and yellows that stood out in your large bouquet of blues.
Right as you finished picking your last few flowers the Doctor wandered up to you, although it seemed he had never ventured too far from you to begin with.
He appeared with a very large bouquet of pinks and blues, with lovely [f/c] in the center.
"Y/N my love," he said with a flourish, "these are for you."
You giggled as he stepped into a bow to hand you the flowers, and curtsied in return. As you exchanged flowers, you felt a sharp pain on your finger, presumably a thorn.
"Fuck!"
"Y/N!!! Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" he gawked at you.
"Nope, just you darling."
You could see a bright red creeping up from his neck as his flowers dropped to his side.
"Speechless?" you teased as you looped your arm through his.
"I-uh suppose you could say that," he stuttered.
You gave him a quick peck on the cheek and felt him relax a bit as you guided them out of the garden.
"Where to now Doctor?"
"Anywhere," he smiled. "as long as I'm with you."

Did you want to see the stars? Such a volatile question. It took you all of two seconds to decide enthusiastically that yes, yes, of course, you wanted to see the stars! But then other, guiltier thoughts started to bleed through. What about your family? Your cat? Your job?
Well, that last one wasn't quite as important, but still.
"You'd do that?" You asked, awe-struck by her radiant smile.
"Wha'? 'Course! Wouldn't be the Fam without you, love," she replied, rubbing your left shoulder comfortingly. "Which ones d'you want to see first, eh? Oh, I've got it. How about the Glistening Aura Belt over Glastos? They're my favourites. What d'you say?"
You chewed on your lip, watching as her smile grew wider and wider.
"You've got yourself a date."

Some smutty TentooRose from my incoming Fuck-a-Thon fic I'm taking a million years to finally post:
Searing heat builds between his legs in strong pulses, signaling just how rapidly he grows hard beneath her. His fingers find their way into her hair, weaving and knotting until she moans, and oh god — he needs to hear that sound again. He’s got ideas — he’s very clever, Rose knows he is, and her body burns from tip to toe and he can smell that she’s already wet for him and she probably feels even hotter on the inside and — And the Doctor can hardly believe this dangerous, delicious lack of impulse control. The urge to taste her, to fill her, to make her come as he finally gives his cock to her — he’s scarcely felt anything so all-consuming. It obliterates reason, taking 900 years of steel-reinforced circuitry by the fistful and tearing it up from the motherboard.

“This is not goodbye”, he promises, “I’m immortal after all, remember?”
“But I’m not”, Izuku blurts out before his brains catches up with his heart.
Jack’s smile falls and he grasps Izuku by his shoulders.
“This is not goodbye”, Jack reassures, squeezing him and drawing him into a hug, kissing his hair, “It’s not”

angst fic set post-journeys end where rose is missing the other doctor, and she says as much to tentoo, but he takes it to mean rose misses the timelord him. argument ensues.
the doctor says he thought they were over this, and subtly accuses her of lying when she claimed to believe they were the same man. he thinks she’s regretting the doctor she picked and lashes out. she wasn’t even shy to let him know, wasn’t even worried about how he’d feel, seemingly
rose was hoping for maybe some comfort and reminiscing of their first year together, and she can’t understand why he’s so upset. but the bad mood she was already in and his unexpected hostility pushes her right past confusion into bitter anger, and she’s crying and yelling and slamming the door within minutes of the conversation starting. she can’t understand why he’s being so harsh and insensitive when she thought he felt similarly about their first year. she also thought they were over this
a good few hours of alone time gives them the space to calm down enough to talk and rose apologizes for yelling. somewhere in the apology, she drops a hint that she was talking about her first doctor, and he nearly starts another argument with the speed he shuts her up. because holy shit he was dumb. of course she wasn’t talking about the timelord copy. of course she didn’t regret picking him. how could he ever think his rose would be so cruel? dear god, he’s been an ass. and the doctor is so relieved to find this out that he doesn’t even care about her missing the person he’s not anymore

I'm writing something
Summary:
An AU where instead of hiding the timeless child, Tecteun creates a false narrative around them and how they "gifted" the timelords with their regenerations. All the while continuing to experiment on and isolate them from the world. This is the story of how a boy with drums in his head met a boy who wanted to see the universe, and how they changed eachothers lives.

wrapped [10th Doctor x Reader]
Have this small thing I wrote since my brain can’t come up with anything as of the moment.
Fandom: Doctor Who
Ship: 10th Doctor x Reader
Word Count: 315 - just a drabble/ficlet
Summary: It’s chilly in the TARDIS, the Doctor just wanted to do something nice for you.
==========================
Tumblr media
The Doctor was pacing back and forth, he had just been told that you were about to head off to bed, and knowing that the TARDIS temperature was dropping, he was now trying to come up with a solution to an inconvenience rather than a problem. He was practically walking in circles around the TARDIS, ending up in different rooms around the said blue box, but suddenly, he thought of an idea, “I’ve got it!” his face lights up and turns around, “Okay, I need to find the closet..” he mumbles to himself, as he speed walks to look for the said closet past your room.
You realized that the TARDIS was freezing tonight, you didn’t know why, you wanted to ask, but you were too busy trying to keep yourself warm in the said blue box, but as the minutes go by, your fingers and toes were already cold, and you were practically shivering.
Meanwhile, the Doctor was in the TARDIS’ seemingly endless closet, looking for something, tossing some clothes and accessories here and there, causing endless clanging and cluttering noises, while you were trying to head to bed.
Before giving up and planning to roll up in your blanket, and hope to fall asleep with that idea, suddenly, the Doctor called you from the endless closet in the TARDIS. You groaned as you practically dragged yourself to the endless closet of the TARDIS.
As  you entered, you only saw piles of clothes, scattered and piled up left and right, “Doctor?” You called out, looking for the man that was calling you earlier.
He suddenly popped out from one of the piles, “Oh hello! I found it!” He exclaims as he held out the thick looking, dark blue blanket, and places it around his shoulders before walking behind you and wrapping the both of you in the blanket roll.
You blushed a bit, as you were wrapped tight with the Doctor, it felt cozy, considering the two of you were wrapped like a burrito roll.
“Sorry about the TARDIS being so chilly this time.” He rests his chin on the top of your head, “I knew it’s bedtime for you, so I went to look for this.” He gestures to the blanket, “I hope you don’t mind this for a bit.”
“Not at all.” You sigh as you let him embrace you, wrapped in his arms and blanket. He rests his chin on top of your head, as you both stayed like that for a bit, as the TARDIS just drifts in space. ======== it’s been a while since i’ve written something, i’ve been trying to write about something, so requests are open, but yeah. idk what i’m doing is the tldr of this entirety.
