There is a sort of trope that I've noticed in DC media where Batman is infinitely stranger from anyone else's perspective than his own. In his own comics and movies and such his motives are explained to you, you have his inner monologue, but the moment you put him in someone else's story, you're met with a general vibe of 'what the fuck is wrong with that man? is that a man? might be a demon.'
And this 100% extends to the batkids.
Dick? The man has no bones. From an outside perspective, he leaps before he looks, grinning and laughing as be backflips off buildings with seemingly no plan, only to catch himself with a grapple at the last minute. He's charming and warm until he can't be, and then he's terrifying, with a glare and temper that rivals the Bat's.
Jason? He has deadly aim and a steady hand. He's hulking and strong, but he's also silent. He still moves like a bat, like he was taught to in his Robin days, despite the fact that he's taller and broader than Bruce now. The Red Hood could appear out of the shadows behind you, no matter how safe you are, and you wouldn't be able to do anything to stop it.
Tim? He's smart. They're all smart, but he's smart smart. And his ethics and intelligence don't always mesh. He could tear down any security system with frightening efficiency, then rebuild it better. Logically, he's always five steps ahead.
Damian? He's the most obviously terrifying. He's small, and angry, and he has a sword that he knows how to use with frightening efficiency. He's as viscous as his father can be, but with a temper that more unchecked. He learned how to kill before he learned how to protect.
Duke, Cass, and Steph also fall under this, but I don't know enough about them to make accurate judgements.
Anyway, what I'm saying is the rogues and the Justice League alike fear the Bats, and for good reason.

Comics mini-Comints: Dungeon Meshi
reread dungeon meshi through to the end. still such a great manga. here are immediate thoughts - if I end up having time and energy I hope I can write something that goes deeper!
ironically i was only a few chapters from the end when I stopped keeping up, but I was struggling to remember all the characters and context, so reading it through in one go was definitely an ideal way to achieve maximum impact there.
ryoko kui does a very elegant job of handling a transition from 'silly antics' to 'big dramatic fantasy' while still keeping the central thematic throughline - eating and being eaten, belonging to an ecosystem, the significance of sacrificing others to achieve your own desires. a lot of setups pay off in a way that feels meticulously planned - and of course the crux of the final showdown revolves around characters attempting to eat each other, of course the big payoff is a huge feast that symbolically unites all the conflicting factions. it is maybe a bit too neat and happy for my taste, but it's undeniably tightly executed - it never loses sight of what it's about. especially compared to something like Frieren, it's an incredibly coherent serialisation, up there with e.g. Fullmetal Alchemist.
kui's art style deserves all kinds of praise - it feels effortlessly simple, but it clearly communicates all sorts of different shapes and body types and it's really fun to see her play around with remixing the different visual elements when she switches the races around. in general Laius's autistic monster loving ways clearly reflect kui's own deeply felt appreciation for all the ways people and animals live (accentuated further by all the extra sketches the scanlators tuck in). in a way you could kinda call it like Parts Unknown the fantasy manga.
the stakes of the final conflict are interesting - there is much to be said about the framing of 'desire' and its fulfilment, of this occult idea of 'the infinite'. lots you could put in relation to other manga, and also buddhism. (in particular I really want to develop a comparison to Made In Abyss, there are so many parallels, it just might be too spicy for tumblr lmao).
one thing I really like about it is how much its fantasy dungeon-exploring setting owes to D&D and other TTRPGs, rather than videogames. monster ecology has been a fascination of that game since the early days of Dragon magazine, and Kui sharply zeroes in on some of the intrinsic conflicts baked in to that fantasy milieu, notably the lifespan thing, while smartly avoiding the traps of 'evil races'. there's some really fun nods to the weirder monster manual entries. and in a story with so many characters and factions, it does a genuinely incredible job of furnishing everyone with understandable, reasonable motivations, conflicts drawn from their context just like the monsters are explained by their ecology.
and one thing that I particularly appreciate is like... how much it is able to simultaneously understand and sympathise with a character and also show us how and why they'd rub others the wrong way. it's impossible not to like our main group, they're all such charming dorks and the manga leads you along with all the crazy rpg party shit they do, but at the same time you definitely find yourself thinking 'guy's got a point' in the kabru chapters lmao. I'm projecting hard bc i don't really know a thing about ryōko kui but laius def feels like the sort of depiction of having an autism that you can only do if you've lived it.
but yeah, it's a fuzzy ending where it all turns out well. but what's the deeper thrust of it all? there's a funny moment where marcille is like 'maybe in the end our journey is about learning to accept death' and the grouchy old gnome guy completely laughs this off as naive, because death doesn't mean anything. and indeed their big plan pays off, and falin does indeed come back just fine. but still, through all of this it asks you to bite the bullet that being a living creature means eating to survive, at the cost of other creatures, with the other side being that one day you too will be eaten. in contrast to this honest way of being is the beguiling fantasy of infinity, where all your desires are immediately fulfilled - this is shown as a dangerous path of corruption that produces madness and manipulability. having limits and rubbing up against the wishes of others, or 'doing things you don't want to do' as izutsumi's arc puts it, becomes necessary for having some kind of definition as a subject. the thing that makes the demon concrete as an entity is a desire, or appetite, that can't immediately be fulfilled.
of course we can connect this to the idea of narrative conflict. a standard advice for putting together a plot is to ask what each character wants and why they can't get it. wanting something implies movement. and indeed over the course of this story, we see that while having too many desires fulfilled too readily leads to incoherence and callousness, equally a character who is left catatonic as their desires have been eaten by the demon must be reawakened to activity by finding a new desire.
it's kinda Buddhist innit. neither the opulence of the palace nor asceticism. desires are what tie you to the world. but mixed with ecology: what a creature does to find the energy to live is what defines its lifestyle, its form.
this is probably where I'd start talking about entropy gradients and shit if i wasn't typing this on a phone at 1:30am lmao.
but yeah - it's a powerful move to go from 'D&D monster recipe show sendup' to 'living with the inherently violent nature of being an organism fated to live in a finite sum game' and yet Dungeon Meshi makes it feel natural and convincing, while remaining tremendously charming and funny throughout. ryōko kui is definitely some kind of genius, and I can't wait to see what her next act is gonna be. it's all definitely making me appreciate the act of eating a lot more.
next story on my plate is probably The Flower That Bloomed Nowhere, which sounds like it will present a very gnarly thematic contrast.

Hello! The lingerie headcanons for the judgment bois was so good. Can I maybe ask for lingerie headcanons for Ichiban, Zhao, Sawashiro, Yamai and Eiji? hope that’s not too many to ask for!
Helloooo! Ofc you can! Also there’s no limit either to how many people you wanna add to a request 💕 Altho if I did get an ask for say, 20 characters or so in one go, I may cry a little
I can do Yamai as I’ve progressed enough with Infinite Wealth to feel comfortable writing for him. However, I have left Eiji out for now, only becauseeee I’m just over halfway through the game (I keep getting distracted by Dondoko Island because I love it) so I’m not 100% confident or sure on how to write his character yet. I’m so sorry.
I’ll probs make a post once I’ve finished IW so people can request for any of those characters going forward. 💕
Also thank you for the request, and I hope you like!
S/O surprising them w lingerie ✨
Ichiban:
Ichi’s brain is going to straight up stop working, and his face would just heat up immediately. He would momentarily be broken.
As soon as he comes home and sees you dressed in pretty lingerie for him, he is gonna freeze. His eyes would be comically wide, and his mouth would be opening and closing as if he’s trying to say something, but no noise would be coming out. You’d probably have to approach him and ask him if he likes it, to break him out of his daze.
He’d just become putty in your hands, nodding yes to your question, not quite trusting himself to speak, because honestly? He has no idea what is going to come blurting out his mouth.
It would probably be best if you just lead him to the bedroom at this point. Grab his hand, and he’ll eagerly follow you.
Ichi is a bottom anyways, but somehow this will be amplified when you wear lingerie. He will just be in awe of you, his gaze locked on to your body, and his hands roaming every inch of you.
He doesn’t really have a preference for lingerie, and thinks all of it is pretty. He might prefer cuter lingerie, so babydolls with pretty, floaty, sheer material, and would also appreciate cute lil bow or flower charms/decor. Pretty, sexy, fairy vibes almost. He is also a boob man, so would appreciate an outfit that really gives him a good view of your tits.
Zhao:
Zhao would be so turned on, and would be internally wondering what he did to deserve such an amazing partner.
As soon as he spots you in your lingerie, it’s game on. He’d get that sly glint in his eyes, and would be looking at you as though he’s about to eat you up. He’d try and play coy, asking ‘Is this for me? You shouldn’t have’, except he is already circling you, taking a good look at every inch of your body in your little outfit. He would stop behind you, hands gripping your hips and pulling you back towards him, so that your back is pressed tightly against his chest. He’d be leaving a trail of kisses down your neck and….how is he suddenly the one seducing you!?
Lingerie would definitely release some sort of animalistic urge in him, and Zhao will not stop fucking you until you’re screaming his name.
He is an ass man, so would appreciate a lacy thong, paired with a skimpy matching bra, suspender belt, and strappy little garters, as opposed to stockings. The bra would definitely be coming off, but bonus points if the thong is crotchless, so that he can leave it on whilst he fucks you, along with your other accessories.
Sawashiro:
Loooord, this is gonna drive him crazy.
As soon as Jo comes home and spots you waiting for him, all dressed up in lingerie, he will fall deadly silent. At first, you might get the impression you’ve done something wrong, as his face would be expressionless, and he wouldn’t utter a single noise. However, his gaze will start trailing up and down your body, his eyes darkening, and he’ll be giving you the most intense eye fucking you have ever received. His gaze would be so heated.
He’d take his time as he walks on over to you, his eyes never once leaving you. He’d call you a dirty little tease, shrugging off his suit jacket, unbuttoning his shirt sleeves so he can roll them up his forearms.
He’s gonna take you there and then. If you’re in the hallway of your home, he’s gonna turn you around, and press your front to the wall as he slams in to you from behind. If you’re in the lounge/living room, you’re getting dicked down on the sofa. Waiting for him in the bedroom? You’re getting shoved down on to the bed and he will be on you in an instant. Lingerie would rile this man up so much, and the fact you’ve been patiently waiting for him to return home? He’s not gonna disappoint.
Jo would usually prefer you completely naked, but the sight of you topless, in nothing but a lacy thong and some thigh-high tights/stockings? Man will go feral.
Yamai:
Yamai and his goddamn poker face. He is gonna walk in, catch sight of you waiting for him, looking all seductive, and he will just pause, his eyes raking over you. In that slow, lazy drawl of his, he’s gonna say something along the lines of ‘well shit, if I’d known this was waiting for me, I would’ve come home earlier’. His eyes would just be glowering at you, and he’d look as though he’s about ready to devour you.
Always the one in control of situations, even surprises. He’d go and sit himself down on the sofa, patting his thigh expectantly, a clear sign that he wants you to go and straddle him. His hands would be on you in an instant, once you’re sat astride him, his fingers digging in to your hips tightly. He would try to be gentle because he loves you and is secretly a softie for you, but he definitely can get a bit rough with you, and lingerie would only spur him on. He’d have you ride him, but he would still be in control, his grip never loosening. He’s got a sharp tongue too, and will call you a good little whore, for dressing up for him and waiting so patiently for him to return home.
Yamai would likely appreciate corsets, and the way they accentuate your curves and push up your breasts would drive him insane. He’d also find a lacy, tight basque sexy, along with matching stockings. Anything tight fitting is a yes from him.

Golden Rule PlaceHolder Members
Tumblr media
Made some placeholder Golden Rule Members for my fanfics until the canon ones comes out (Hopefully in 2023 👀) in format of Flug’s Journal notes.
I wanted them to have the same vibes as the Villainous characters, so I based them off comic book characters, the Villains in the show, and how the fight between them vs Flug, Demencia and 5.0.5. if they we’re to ever face them.
They're kinda also based on the frat and sorority or mean group of popular kids you see on movies on TV, but I also want to give them more of a backstory and layers to their character, to give them more depth, like the background characters in the show.
Based on my headcanon they also have gold accessories to show that they are part of the Golden Rule.
——————-
Golden Tres: I thought of these 2 characters based on the Trinity (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman) They are basically the Trinity of the Golden Rule alongside GoldHeart and are GoldHeart's right hand men and he appoints them to be in charge of things when he's not around. Cosmic Queen (CQ) uses her charm and media personality while Armour-Geddon (AG) uses his violent intimidation tactics in order to achieve what they want. Both of them are supposed to represent Flug and Demencia respectively. So Flug and Demencia will have to put aside their differences and work together to defeat them 2 v 2. Their relationship is like Lady Dimitrescu and Karl Heisenberg, and they argue a lot but they are able to put aside their differences to work together when it comes down to it. GoldHeart represents Gold, so I thought Cosmic Queen and Armour-Geddon should represent Diamonds and Silver respectively.
Armour-Geddon: GO JUGGLE YOUR BALLS SOMEWHERE ELSE YOU CLOWN!!
Cosmic Queen: NICE AXE, ARE YOU OVERCOMPENSATING FOR SOMETHING?!!
---
Cosmic Queen: Everyone, as you know today P.E.A.C.E. day, so just a friendly reminder to all heroes to look extra happy when you encounter the press later today.
Armour-Geddon: Anyone showing insufficient happiness will be killed.
COSMIC QUEEN
Tumblr media
Fight: I thought of this character because it would be cool Flug to fight a magic hero (ability not mentioned in Flug’s notes because he doesn’t believe in magic) in a magic vs science fight. She can move around her comets like missiles while the gang has to dodge it. Flug has to build a mind-blocking device and attach it on her head to stop her using powers, but she uses a lot of long distance attracts so it would be difficult, so Demencia and 5.0.5. would have to distract her while Flug would try to sneak up on her.
City: Nova City (The city of fashion and extraterrestrial presence)
Gold Accessory: Long Hand Rings (can be used to control her powers)
Inspiration: I was inspired by Miss Heed and Space themed villains. Cosmic Queen is a fashion diva and a model like Miss Valdoom, and Stardust because she was stealing some gems so I decided to incorporate it into her outfit (the gems might have something to do with her power haven't decided) As well as Amora the Enchantress (Thor) and Star Sapphire (Green-Lantern), Superwoman (Crisis of Infinite Earths) and Amora the Enchantress.
Reason Why She Wants To Be A Hero: Her main motivation is fame, money, and popularity.
The Reason Why She Is In The Golden Rule: She met GoldHeart in hero school and actually asked GoldHeart out in order to boost her popularity which he rejected and says he's not interested and can see through her fake personality (she's glad later because she finds dealing with him as a boss is already extremely intimidating and stressful) but notices that she has a manipulatively charming personality like him like an uncut diamond, so he says to her 'Why settle for one guy when you can have thousands on them chasing after you and doing your bidding without giving them anything in return' and says he can help improve her skills which she agrees and that's how she ended up becoming one of the OG Golden Rule Members.
Additional Notes: She is the definition of a gold digger and dates guys for their money and/or popularity.
She is the second most popular hero in the Golden Rule, next to GoldHeart and third strongest member. She likes to use people to get ahead, power hungry, the second most charismatic member of the team, next to GoldHeart. Despite her loyalty, GoldHeart predicts when it all comes down to it she will be the most likely member to betray him.
GoldHeart hates diamonds and makes it clear to her that he thinks diamonds are overrated compared to yellow gold.
Songs to describe her are One Good Man, Material Girl and Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend.
In addition to being a model she also has her own reality tv show, is a judge for several reality shows.
She has a cat which she adores and calls him "Big Boobs", (BB for short) just to troll people when she talks about it.
Both she and GoldHeart thinks the other’s superhero outfits are gaudy, she doesn’t say it out loud though.
Cosmic Queen likes to hang out with Siren because she likes having a quote "rich but less attractive friend, she easily can manipulate to do her bidding".
She has a genuine hatred for Miss Heed because of how similar they are and always trying to steal her position as the top female of the group and she often tries to unbrainwash her followers to spite her.
They often fight with each other and even though they roast each other for things that they also do. Like she roasts Miss Heed being a cringe influencer while she has her own cringe reality show.
She believes she is better than Miss Heed because she can do what Miss Heed can do (make people love and be obsessed with her)
Quotes:
[Miss Heed's follower]: Miss Heed is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen!
Cosmic Queen, smirks: Until now you mean ~
Cosmic Queen: You and I are both similar. We use people that care about us to get to the top.
Miss Heed: I'm way more attractive than you will ever be!
Cosmic Queen smirks: Is that so? *shows her the hero ranking numbers on the phone stating she is the most popular heroine* Even with that stupid cheap perfume of yours your popularity ranking is still subpar at best as compared to mine, shorty.
Cosmic Queen : You have to try much harder than that Miss Mediocre~ *cackles before flipping her hair and walking away*
Miss Heed: Grr
ARMOUR-GEDDON
Tumblr media
Fight: I thought it would be cool if the Villainous Gang fought someone strong and invulnerable like the Hulk. Their battle would involve a lot of physical fighting, violence and smashing of walls, buildings and properties. Demencia tries to smash him with a hammer, Flug crashed his plane onto him, 5.05. even accidentally sat on him but he still manages to overpowers all of them together so Flug have to figure out something to defeat him. His has weakness is similar to Wolverine. The only way the could defeat him is by using his own metal against him. Flug managed to get some DNA skin samples and made a metal tomb. Then Demencia and 5.0.5. would have to lead him into the tomb to trap him.
Inspiration: He is inspired by chaotic and juggernot Villains like Tri-Skull and Épsilon. As well as Hulk (Marvel), Wolverine (Marvel), Mr. X (Resident Evil 2, Remake), Niragi (Alice in Borderland), Giriko (Soul Eater)
City: Sledgehammer City (City with large and tall metal buildings and violent criminals.
Gold Accessory: Brass knuckles
Reason Why He Wants To Be A Hero: He wants to do whatever wants as much as he can and get away with it looking like the good guy.
The Reason Why He Is In The Golden Rule: is because of his brute strength and intimidating personality. GoldHeart uses him to scare, intimate, and beat up Villains and sometimes other heroes in order for the GoldHeart to make himself still look like the good guy while he handles all the dirty work, that's why he is the least popular Golden Rule Member but GoldHeart puts up with him and defends him from public scrutiny because of his important role. When GoldHeart approached AG to join a super hero club he was starting up while they were all in hero school he refused saying being in a group drags him down but GoldHeart convinced him to join the Golden Rule by beating the shit out of him in a 1 v 1, which was the first time he lost.
Additional Notes: He is the second strongest member next to GoldHeart and but also the least popular member of the team due to his violent, intimidating, and extremely rude and blunt nature and has a PR Team working overtime to make him look good.
Sometimes he gets carried away by emotions and gets into random fights in the wrong place and wrong time and the other Golden Rule members (mostly Garuda and Green-Go) have to hold him back in order not to make the Golden Rule look bad.
Aside from his loud mouth and blunt personality he is relatively chill and gets along with the other members with the other Golden Rule Members (aside from Cosmic Queen who he bickers and fights with outside of the public eye)
If you throw a chair at him it would just break into pieces and he would barely even notice it, it's like throwing a paper ball at him.
He likes hanging out with Green-Go and often goes out with him to parties and thinks his dance moves are awesome and finds his sense of humor hilarious.
Despite their opposite personalities both Armour-Geddon and Garuda consider each other as best friends who balance out each other. They also like to compete with each other to see who has the higher kill count when fighting or defeating Villains.
He considers both of them their bois.
He enjoys participating in street racing (which he made legal in his city) and monster truck rallies for fun. He also knows a lot about fixing cars, motorcycles, and trucks in his free time.
Quote:
Armour-Geddon: STUPID VILLAINS! YOU CAN’T HURT ME I’M INVULNERABLE, but if you like to try I’ll crush your skull!
GoldHeart: Meeting's in 5 minutes where the hell is Cosmic Queen?
Armour-Geddon, shrugs: It is raining outside. Maybe she melted.
GARUDA
Tumblr media
Fight: I wanted to design a hero that would challenge Flug in his shooting abilities and Demencia's tracking abilities like sense of smell. This hero’s aim is so accurate that he is able to shoot down the Hat-Ship with a single bow an arrow. Flug challenge him in a laser gun vs arrow fight while distracted 5.0.5. covers him with a bear hug and Demencia goes off and attacks him. However his skill fighting enable him to win the first round. With limited resources Flug, Demencia, and 5.0.5. will have to escape him on foot while he hunts and tracks them down with his hunter senses. They managed to escape by masking their sent by rubbing dirt, leaves, pine needles on their clothes and hiding behind a cave of a waterfall. Flug, noticing tin the fight that the hero is very protective of the the juncture of the wings connecting to his back and realised that the source of power comes from is wings, they have to out hunt the hunter. Flug devised an elaborate plan to defeat him which results in 5.0.5. creating a replica scarecrow of the gang with twigs and leaves as bait, as Flug set up traps for him and Demencia releasing an army of raccoons she befriended over him, before Flug shoots a makeshift arrow at the juncture to separate his wings from his body.
Inspiration: This hero was inspired by Hawkeye, the Villain Lady Naga, the legends of Garuda vs. Naga, Imakandi (Samurai Jack), Hibari Kyoya (KHR), Kraven the Hunter and with a bit of Batman vibes.
City: Devine City (A city known for its mythical and divine entities. Currently ruled by the Tori Clan)
Gold Accessory: Hand guard (for shooting arrows)
Reason Why He Wants To Be A Hero: To defeat Lady Naga and continue the family tradition of being the protector of Devine City.
The Reason Why He Is In The Golden Rule: is because of his wealth, connections, and his strong super powers which are useful for tracking down and fighting Villains. GoldHeart often uses him to find high profile Villains which are on the run or are difficult to find.
Additional Notes: The reason for his hatred of Lady Naga was because there was a competition of who could be the defender of the city. His family has been protecting the city for many generations he was worried he might lose the competition because they were nearly evenly matched when they sparred. So he cheated, without anyone knowing. Lady Naga was enraged with this so she stole the prize to be given to the winner - a rare elixir, created once every generation which will give the next city's protector super powers. Enraged he joined P.E.A.C.E. to get his super powers and eventually the Golden Rule because he likes to be surrounded by strong and skilled people that will better his heroic fighting skills and abilities to defeat Lady Naga.
His family also runs the city he is protecting and has a prominent business so he also gets into politics and business.
Despite his stoic nature, he is actually quite chill with the Golden Rule Members and willing to go with the flow of things, and even crack a few jokes (though sometimes his face is so stoic it's hard to tell when he is telling the joke). Just don’t bring up Lady Naga in front of him or it will bring down his mood, make him angry and he might go off with a long rant on how much he hates her, but he won’t let anyone have the honour of killing her except for him.
His can make his wings disappear and appear whenever he wants to. Which will transform into a tattoo on his back when he does not feel like using it.
His stealth and sneaking abilities are so good he sometimes has a habit of being in a room without anyone noticing. He even surprised Dís a few times, and she is a ghost.
He has a friendly rivalry with AG (who affectionately calls him Garu, much to his annoyance) and they often compete to see how many Villains they can fight or kill.
He and Siren are in a casual dating relationship. She thinks she's cute and has a lot in common and even agrees to have matching hair dyes together.
When Garuda first joined the Golden Rule, Cosmic Queen planned to make him one of her simps in an attempt to use him for his money and connections but he was already warned of a gold-digging ways by AG, which threw her plans out the window so instead she pesters him to introduce and connect her to rich and powerful politician friends and associates which he finds annoying and often refused to do so.
Aside from Lady Naga, he enjoys hunting other Villains for sports which sometimes Siren and AG joins in as well.
Quotes:
Garuda: If you prove you are a worthy prey in this hunt I might let you live.
_
Armour-Geddon: Hey Garu it's your Pucca *points to Lady Naga*
Garuda, aggressively flies off to attack her: SHE'S MINE!!
SIREN
Tumblr media
Fight: Made this hero affectrd by 5.0.5's cuteness to the point it becomes an obsession, has animalistic tendencies and craziness like Demencia to challenge her in a 1v1 fight and for Flug to overcome his fear of water. When fighting the Villainous gang, she became obsessed with capturing 5.0.5. because he is literally the cutest thing she has ever seen and his fur colour matches her superhero aesthetic. She to make him her pet and personal playmate for her two pet sharks. Flug obviously didn’t want to give his son to this crazy fishlady and 5.0.5. didn’t want to leave his dad. The fight would take place on both on a large boat and sea, with her able to chase the Villainous gang crawl on walls and squeeze though small spaces while she is screams at them with her sonic scream. Flug managed to gather some basic materials on the ship to cancel out her sonic screams and Demencia will then be able to 1v1 her, while dodging attacks from her triton. As the fight progressed, she gets more frustrated and declared that if she can’t have 5.0.5. as a pet, then maybe she can will have him as a fur coat instead, then proceeds to throw her triton at him, it misses, but he lost his balance on the boat and fell into the water with the sharks, Flug jumped in to save his baby from being torn apart, despite his fear of water. He then fights off the sharks by shooting them with his laser gun. Demencia managed to land a punch on her, while she was distracted by the scene which made her scream hysterically before charging at her with all her might. Demencia dodges and she slams her head into the metal wall of the ship, before knocking himself out. "What a lunatic," Demencia declared before helping Flug and 5.0.5. out of the water after Flug managed to defeat the sharks.
Inspiration: Inspired by sea and aquatic themed villains such as Nango, Menta Laguna, and Capitán Fuego. As well as Aquaman and Disney Princesses.
Gold Accessory: Belt
City: Reef City (A city known for its famous resort, aquarium show, and concentration of pirates and sea monsters)
Reason Why She Wants To Be A Hero: Wants to have the brand and prestige of being a hero and to promote her family hotel.
The Reason Why She is in The Golden Rule: The reason why she is in the Golden Rule is because of her unique powers of controlling and breathing underwater and her wealth. GoldHeart uses her as leverage when dealing with aquatic villains or underwater missions if necessary.
Additional Notes: This hero has an obsession over cute things, but her definition of cute ranges from cute clothes, accessories, attractive model looking people, beautiful beaches, blue seas, sharks seeing people turn blue underwater and seeing their guts.
Her definition of a Villain are people who are ugly.
At times insult Dís and other heroes for her appearance and often complains about having to save "ugly civilians" that are in danger.
She appears to have a sweet nature like a princess and likes to use it to her advantage especially in a fight. But in reality she is somewhat sadistic especially being pushed on the edge. Like going too far during battles with other Villains and having a fascination seeing how long people can hold their breath before drowning.
She likes hanging out with Cosmic Queen because of her fashion sense and being in her in her reality show but is often easily manipulated by her and is treated like her sidekick.
Secretly she thinks she is much cuter and more attractive than CQ and thinks she deserves the top spot as the most popular heroine. She is aware that CQ treats her like crap but hopes she can learn enough to overthrow her top position.
She and Garuda are in a casual relationship. She goes hunting together and he even makes her the water-skin she is carrying from a pelt of the Villain he skinned for her. He tries to defend her against CQ or convince Siren to stand up for herself, but she says that she knows people use each other and will handle CQ by herself.
One of her powers is having the agility and flexibility of an octopus, so she is extremely flexible, bend in almost any direction and can even stick to walls and even snap your neck with her feet.
Her father owns a marine aquarium resort and in her city, as well as multiple , around the world hence she is extremely rich.
Her favorite food is peanut-butter and caviar sandwiches.
Initially there were only resorts but she was actually the one who came up with the idea of adding the aquarium in order to put the aquatic Villains she captures on display and use them for profit.
Capitán Fuego is her arch enemy, the reason for this was because a long time ago, she actually captured one of the aquatic creatures in the sea that turns out to be Capitán Fuego's, who was just a normal fishing captain at the time, friend. He managed to rescue his friend, but resulted in an onslaught between Siren while doing so which resulted in her sinking his ship (by using her brute strength to slam her head first into the ship and making a hole) and ripping his right arm off during their fight. If he did not cauterize the wound he would have died through blood loss or an infection.
Black Hat approached him at his lowest moments and that was where he made a deal to have ability and powers in exchange for his soul in order to defeat that monster.
Black Hat gave him fire powers and built him a new ship to suit his powers. His ability also enabled him to get a new right arm.
Their dynamic is like Captain Ahab and Moby Dick. (Or like Disiree and Klofange for those of you who watch Xiaolin Showdown 😆)
She likes to break out in song randomly much to the annoyance of others but can't sing for nuts (which she is in denial) sometimes her sonic scream can accidentally smash objects due to her singing or squealing in excitement (She still owes GoldHeart for destroying his windows in the Golden Rule building one time.
Quotes:
Capitán Fuego: The only monster in the sea is you!
Siren: Yeah well, you're ugly!
--
[Siren, gets hit during a fight]
Siren, with tears in her eyes: Ow, oh how could you be so mean?
[Random Villain]: Oh I am so sorry I -
Siren, kicks the villain painfully in between the legs: AHAHAHA. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU VILLAINS KEEP FALLING FOR THAT!
--
Dís: With all these celebrities showing up tonight, I should go change.
Siren whispering to Cosmic Queen: I thought she had to wait for a full moon.

Fight: As shown in Episode 2, Flug has a fear of Ghosts, so I thought it would be an interesting concept for Flug to have to face his fears in order to defeat this hero. The fight would take place in a large building with enclosed walls which involve a series of paranoia between the Villainous gang as they tried to avoid being touched on the head by her, like a twisted game of duck-duck-goose as she turns invisible and phases through walls. Flug would give the team members heat vision goggles and a ghost hunting trap like the ghost busters and Demencia's keen sense of smell would come in handy. She would somehow destroy the heat vision goggles from the team, but Flug then realized that she can't phase through while interacting at the same time so Flug devices a plan which involves using himself as live bait and overcoming his fear of ghosts, while 5.0.5. activates the ghost trapping the device. She still struggles to escape the device and almost does before Demencia viciously bit her and the painful shock made the trap able to catch her.
Inspiration: This hero is based on Mother Poltergeist, so She is basically a ghost catching ghost. As well as by Mystique (X-Men), Kitty Pride (X-Men), and Martian Man Hunter (JL), Mira Nova (Buzz Light-year of Star Command)
City: Treesville (The capital city in the country of Yggdrasil, known for its large forests and concentration of paranormal activity, came up with the name as Yggdrasil is a tree in Norse Mythology)
Gold Accessory: Hair Accessory (That doubles as a secret video camera for recording blackmail)
Reason Why She Wants To Be A Hero: To gossip and blackmail from high profile and famous people while appearing to be the good guy while doing so.
The Reason Why She Is In The Golden Rule is because of her extremely useful and unique ghost powers as a hero and she also acts as informant to the Golden Rule through gathering gossip, blackmail, information and secrets from Heroes and Villains so that it can be used in ammunition so that The Golden Rule can stay in power.
Additional Notes: She can phase through walls and turn invisible without an issue but her mind reading powers have limitations.
"That's why her hair is so big it's full of secrets" (jk 😆)
She does so by going to events and connecting with others or secretly listening to other people's conversation by turning invisible or phasing through walls.
GoldHeart would also uses her ability to read minds in order to interrogate people.
She would charge heroes money or in favors in exchange for her investigation services to find dirt or other people or get money from them to prevent the blackmail from getting out.
GoldHeart has prepared some horrible blackmail on her as a contingency plan if she ever decides to betray the Golden Rule, but she is smart not to, knowing the consequences and enjoys getting juicy gossip from high profile and famous people.
She is often bored of her main heroing job like saving people and outsources saving her city to other low ranking heroes such as Bulldozer and often focuses on networking with other heroes to get the latest gossip and secrets, but she does enough hero work to get by and appear like she is working to the media.
She had a bad habit of turning invisible and going through walls to listen to other Golden Rule members conversations as well, that GoldHeart had to sound proof and ghost proof the walls to prevent her from phasing through.
She often hangs out with CQ who being the most well connected hero always has some entertaining gossip.
She would often assist Green-Go in pulling hilarious pranks on others for fun.
She dislikes Siren as she says she is ugly and they will at times bicker and argue with each other and often purposely say things to annoy her.
She has her own video and news blog called Hero-Watch which she reports all the interesting gossip she finds on P.E.A.C.E. heroes. There are also segments where she interviews heroes and asks them spicy questions or have other heroes go on blind dates with each other.
Quotes:
Dís: I blackmail people when I'm nervous. It's kinda my go to...
_
Dís, smirks: So I heard from Icarus who heard from Konan who heard from Omega who heard from Ringworm who overhead from--
Siren: GET TO THE POINT!!
----
GoldHeart: We have no secrets here.
Siren, side-eyeing Dís: That's because she listens at the door.
Dís: How else would I hear you scratching to get back in?
GREEN-GO
Tumblr media
Fight: I thought it would be cool if the Villainous gang fought a Flash themed superhero who is extremely difficult to keep up with. Flug tries to shoot him and Demencia tries to attack him but he evades with his super speed. He is also skilled at kick boxing which he used in the fight. Even though he has super speed, he doesn’t have super strength and can still be slowed down in surfaces with less friction. Flug, Demencia and 5.0.5. have to lead him to a large body of water and Flug has to use a freeze ray to trap him in ice.
Inspiration: Flash (JL) and His personality is something like Scout (TF2).
City: Olympus City (A city known for its Sports Events such as the P.E.A.C.E. Hero Olympics)
Gold Accessory: Ankle Guards
Reason Why He Wants To Be A Hero: Fame, fortune and money.
The Reason Why She Is In The Golden Rule is because they needed a speedster amongst the group and he was able to get the position because he is the fastest hero in P.E.A.C.E.
Additional Notes: However, he is insecure about his position in the Golden Rule because his ability and powers don't stand out among the others, GoldHeart also likes to remind him how dispensable he is if he does not pull his weight with the increased number of new heroes in P.E.A.C.E. having speed super powers.
That's why he often does things like compete in the Olympics, even though he has an unfair advantage of his superpowers in order to win.
He would often boast to heroes and civilians and everyone that he is in the Golden Rule and part of the Seven Nobles and to stunts and tricks in order to garner attention. During fights he would also do things like pull pranks on Villains for attention.
He got more fame as well as security in his position in the Golden Rule after he was able to defeat the Villain Metauro, who have recently killed the El Torero and ever since his Metauro vowed to get stronger and break his spine.
He likes to watch sports matches (e.g. basketball, football, tennis) and is an extreme fanboys for the sports players and would at times get over exited at meeting the players that he would cling on to their legs (the Golden Rule Members would say or pretend they don't know him if they ever went to one of the matches with him)
Don't give him too much sugar or coffee he gets super hyperactive and starts bouncing up and down the walls.
He loves to prank Villains and shares his ideas with the other Golden Rule Members. He is so fast that sometimes the Villains don't know what's happening until they are being pranked.
He likes to get advice from AG and Garuda on how to ask girls out.
He and Siren often complain to each other on why the other Golden Rule Members think they're childish.
Quotes:
Green-Go: I mean do you know who you're even talking to? Basically, kind of a big deal.
---
Green-Go: I'm the fastest hero in P.E.A.C.E.
Garuda: That explains why you can't get a date.
Green-Go: Hey!

After the climactic release of the historically successful Avengers: Endgame – the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the penultimate release in their “Infinity Saga”, the culmination of 11 years of brand-building, the second-highest-grossing film of all time – Marvel decided what the world really needed was more Marvel.
Armed with classic Hollywood hubris – the misguided conviction that the public would never tire of what they were selling – Marvel Studios rolled television production into their main business model, with “Phase Four” delivering more television shows than movies. The effect was a flooding of the market and a dilution of the brand, not to mention the release of the worst MCU movie, Eternals.
Forcing narrative crossovers between television shows and movies had the adverse effect of turning the former into homework and the latter into ads for the former. This practice was an act of artistic self-sabotage, ruining what could’ve been Marvel’s most sublime film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, by burdening it with a host of tonally-off, studio-obligated B-stories crowbarred in to promote upcoming television titles.
After a run of disappointing films that weighed down once-fun franchises with po-faced gravity – Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – and a slew of ordinary television shows – The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Moon Knight, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Secret Invasion – we’ve officially reached a state of Marvel fatigue, with questions looming around the state of the superhero industrial complex.
It’s in this cultural moment that Loki, the acclaimed solo show for the titular character, arrives for a second season. It doesn’t just have to live up to an inspired first season but also has to push back on all the bad vibes, a difficult task given the heavy presence of Jonathan Majors, the breakout star who was arrested in March on domestic violence charges. The great charm of this season is that it cultivates the feeling that it could head anywhere and be anything. Loki doesn’t just explore free will as a theme, it actually feels as if it artistically possesses it.
The good news is that, whether or not it can be spun as state-of-Marvel narrative correction, season two is a worthy successor. Blessed by the fact its titular character, Tom Hiddleston’s charismatic God of Mischief, remains a slippery figure, Loki is allowed to move forward with no clear lines drawn between good and bad, protagonist and antagonist, hero and villain. Characters hold convictions until they don’t, make choices that will have ramifications, agitate for themselves, then for the greater good, and try to navigate a world whose rules shift beneath their feet.
It’s largely set, once again, in the Time Variance Authority, a comic bureaucratic labyrinth charged with policing multiversal time lines. Offering obvious symbolism at a time when Marvel is struggling to retain coherence in the midst of its “Multiverse Saga”, the TVA prizes the one true “Sacred Timeline”, pruning infinite possibilities back for the sake of cosmic narrative purity.
The TVA is an inspired retrofuturist space steeped in Eastern Bloc mid-century design and early Terry Gilliam films, satirising the pernickety dictums of workplaces and government offices – “limit your lunch break to 17 minutes!” proclaims one poster. From its dated tech – ’70s-style computer monitors, reel-to-reel tape machines, chrome hi-fis – to its curved surfaces, coloured floor tiles and lurid-emerald key lime pie, it’s a rare work of inspired production design by a studio otherwise synonymous with green-screening its way to rush-job eyesores built by an army of non-unionised offshore digital effects artists.
Everything in the TVA looks shabby and neglected, evoking its place as an office lost to time. The plot machinations of season one found an Avengers-adjacent Loki commandeered by the authority – Agent Mobius (Owen Wilson), upper-management Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) and others – to pursue a variant of himself, Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), through time and space.
It ended with an explosion of multiversal time lines and revelations about the true history of the TVA: its top-down system of authority a matrix of illusion, its mind-wiped employees existing in a state of suspended limbo, its time line-culling operation seeming a lot like a morally questionable act of mass slaughter.
In the fallout from that climax, season two finds characters questioning whether the TVA is an entity worth preserving or destroying, not to mention the meaning of their own existence and the ramifications of choice. It’s a study of free will and moral responsibility, housed in 45-minute episodes of action-oriented television. Its chief writer, Eric Martin, both lionises liberty and weighs up its gravity, while happily dealing in the all-American fear of governmental oversight.
The collapse of the TVA’s artificial reality – “everything you’ve been doing is wrong and all your gods are dead”, Mobius deadpans in classic Wilson fashion – leads characters to their own convictions. Mobius seeks peaceful resolution. Renslayer seeks to preserve her power and the authority’s agency (“all that matters is order versus chaos”). The once-bellicose B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) has a moral reawakening. The dogged Dox (Kate Dickie) is more committed than ever to the cause. The weaselly X-5 (Rafael Casal) wants to explore his new-found independence and maybe become a movie star. The oddball tech guy with the on-the-nose name, Ouroboros (Ke Huy Quan), is there to both provide comic relief and to save the day from a temporal calamity that may destroy all worlds, or something to that effect.
Loki’s playful riffing on time means every benign use of the word pops – “it’ll take some time”, “remember that time”, “take your time”, “time to go” – and its first four episodes dance along the Earth’s time line at various points of history – 1868, 1893, 1977, 1982 – with plentiful hijinks, dabbling in genre tropes, meta use of Loki’s skills of illusion and misdirection, and creepy fast-food-franchise sponsored content.
Looming over all is the presence of the big bad of Marvel’s Phase Five, Kang the Conqueror, played still, to this point, by Majors. He’s seen here in two variants: a squirrelly 19th-century nutty professor named Victor Timely and the all-powerful end-of-time figure met at the end of last season, He Who Remains. These twin characters are connected but separate enough that they symbolise the series’ focus on free will. One may be fated to become the other, but does that mean that he – and the future – can’t change?
The great charm of this season is that it cultivates the feeling that it could head anywhere and be anything. Loki doesn’t just explore free will as a theme, it actually feels as if it artistically possesses it. While it may not be enough to combat the waning influence of comic-book screen output, this season does feel like a disarming counterpoint to recent Marvel Studios product. Rather than feeling conscripted or forced, a puzzle piece that exists solely to build a bridge between branded content, Loki remains its own thing: a nimble exploration of big themes in a colourful, comic, oddball package.

garfield logan, barry allen, kendra saunders (cuz i could)
garfield logan/changeling/beast boy:
I've read his 4 issue mini, IDK if he has solo titles besides that. It was pretty charming. but i'll also confess I was mostly reading for Bette XD
favorite appearance is hard. my favorite comic that he's been in is NTT, but I dont think it's my favorite for Gar. He's mostly charming in titans 2008 until he starts moping over raven dumping him and its like shut uppppppppp no one cares. i guess we'll go with the beast boy mini :P
barry allen: i've read some of his flash series, read thru the first 2 volumes of showcase presents: flash. I mostly thought that he was kind of boring sorry barry
his best appearances is crisis on infinite earths b/c then he died and let a more interesting character take over. sorry again barry.
kendra saunders:
i've read hawkman 2002 and hawkgirl 2006, + her recent 6 issue mini series. i generally liked them her mini being my favorite. I also liked her on justice league 2006 that was fun.
favorite appearance is her recent mini. that writer was good at taking into account past elements from her new-earth continuity and elaborating on her backstory and how she felt. my only complaint was that it was too short ;_;

Children of the Circus
Friday, 3 November 2023 - Reported by Marcus
Tumblr media
A new audio musical drama, Children of the Circus, is reuniting the cast of the seventh Doctor story, The Greatest Show in the Galaxy for a unique special.
The limited edition CD set will be released on December 14th, 2023, exactly 35 years to the day that the first episode of The Greatest Show in the Galaxy was broadcast on BBC One.
Once upon a time, there was a circus. A Psychic Circus, to be precise. A glorious haven for the misfits of the universe. But then, as is so often the way, it was hijacked by a trio of malevolent Gods. Things grew unpleasant.   Now, years later, the Gods are gone, but the scars of those who survived the Circus remain. After all, you can't change the past.   Unless you're the Children of the Circus... and you're willing to sing.
Based on the Season 25 story by Stephen Wyatt, Children of the Circus is a brand-new, original, musical play on audio from AUK Studios; written by Kenton Hall (with songs by Christopher Guard) and based on an idea by Barnaby Eaton-Jones.
The special features the return of Sylvester McCoy (the Seventh Doctor) and Sophie Aldred (who played the Doctor’s traveling companion, Ace). But not as you’d expect. McCoy plays the High Poet; all befuddled charm and with a whisper of duplicity and danger. Aldred gives two magnificently different characters in the form of Captain Gren (the gruff owner of a Time Ship) and AJ (a sentient piece of rust, who navigates the Time Ship).
McCoy himself sums it up
To return to the worlds of Stephen Wyatt's imagination, but as a wholly new character called the High Poet, means I get to be involved with the Psychic Circus rather than fighting against it! As a lover of the circus myself, juggling this new role was a joy (though I'm sad I didn't get to play the spoons). What fun to be reunited with all the wonderful cast from 'The Greatest Show in the Galaxy' again, 35 years later, and I hope you'll all enjoy this time-sliding, sidestepping sequel from Barnaby Eaton-Jones and his bunch of clowns!
Tumblr media
Joining the cast in a major role is 1980’s icon (singer/actress/songwriter), Toyah Willcox. It’s long been known she was a fan of Doctor Who, as she appeared in Kevin Jon Davies’ acclaimed documentary 30 Years in the TARDIS, but to get her to create a multi-voiced role as The Band of Infinite Harmony (and get her own solo song, which can heard in full after the end credits as a bonus extra track) was something she clearly relished…
At last, I get to play all four members of the band and still have the last say…. love it. Seriously it was wonderful to play THE BAND and equally wonderful to hear this rather fab story unfold, a rock and roll odyssey of comic proportions.
Ever since producer/director Barnaby Eaton-Jones saw the original broadcast of The Greatest Show in the Galaxy, he was fascinated by the world that Stephen Wyatt had created…
There was such a wild mix of horror, science fiction, music, and fantasy, that it blew my adolescent mind; with images and characters forever stuck in my head. I wanted to revisit some of the characters and introduce new ones. With the permission of Stephen Wyatt (who came up with the title for this new production), and the help of writer Kenton Hall and actor/musician Christopher Guard, we were able to create something rather unique in the audio medium.
Kenton Hall himself says:
Like most swinging, modern people, I receive a daily deluge of emails that begin with the fateful words “would you be interested in…” As a result, I have developed a tendency to give them, at best, a brief, withering glare. In this case, however, it read “would I be interested in playing in the sandbox of Stephen Wyatt’s marvellous ‘The Greatest Show in the Galaxy’?”  Does the lesser spotted gumblejack smell faintly of cinnamon? Spoiler: the answer to both questions is yes.
Songwriter, Christopher Guard, who played Bellboy in the original TV serial, added…
As with all the best things in life, I don't remember quite how or when it began. I think I'd sent some of my songs - recent and ancient - to Barnaby just as he was dreaming up a sequel to ‘The Greatest Show in the Galaxy’. It was more a shooting star than a light bulb moment. Irresistible synchronicity had struck, and ‘Children of the Circus’ was a THING! It was just a question of time. Or timelessness. Stephen Wyatt blessed us, Kenton Hall seized his cosmic pen, and the rest is mystery. Unravelled. With music. How amazing to act and sing with so many of the original cast, to slip into Bellboy's loons once more, and to travel seamlessly beyond our wildest dreams.”
Starring Christopher Guard as Bellboy, Dee Sadler as Flowerchild and Ella, Sophie Aldred as Captain Gren and AJ, Toyah Willcox as The Band of Infinite Harmony, Ian Reddington as Delios and the Chief Clown, and Sylvester McCoy as the High Poet.
With Daisy Dunlop, Verity White, Kim Jones, Kenton Hall, Barnaby Eaton-Jones and Ian Kubiak.
Special guest appearances by Ricco Ross as The Ringmaster, Jessica Martin as Mags, Chris Jury as Deadbeat, Deborah Manship as Morgana, Gian Sammarco as Whizz Kid, Daniel Peacock as Nord, and Dean Hollingsworth as the Bus Conductor and Station Announcer.
Produced and directed by Barnaby Eaton-Jones, for AUK Studios.

June 1978. Not a dream, not a hoax, not an imaginary story: Lois Lane finally weds Superman (well, Clark Kent) for real — albeit on the parallel world of Earth-2, which before the Crisis on Infinite Earths was the home of DC's Golden Age heroes. (Note the headquarters of the Daily Star, the paper for which Clark and Lois worked in their earliest comic book appearances.) Although Siegel and Shuster had proposed having Lois learn Superman's true identity back in 1940 (in the unpublished "K-Metal" story that first essayed the concept of Kryptonite), for decades DC treated that idea as a franchise-ending impossibility, which also sharply limited any romantic relationship between Clark and Lois. Nonetheless, this story, by Cary Bates and Curt Swan (inked by Joe Giella), was successful enough to spawn a charming backup feature called "Mr. & Mrs. Superman" — initially in a couple of issues of SUPERMAN and then in most issues of SUPERMAN FAMILY from 1979 to 1982 — which chronicled the further adventures of the Golden Age Clark and Lois as a young married couple in the early 1950s.

Went through your comic tag again because I needed a pick me up and your anecdotes always makes me smile. Very cute and infinitely charming (and it reminds me to tone down the amatonormativity for my ace bff oop)
Thank you so much for the kind words TwT I've said it before but I'm really struggling with my self-confidence as a comic artist, especially on stuff that isn't fan-art, so I'm always super grateful for comments like these TwT
Thank you so much for being mindful, too <3

2. what’s your feel-good movie?
off the top of my head: black dynamite, leningrad cowboys go america, astrópía, breakfast with scot, pygmalion (1938), wet hot american summer, my best girl (1927), tommy, how to steal a million. extremely non-exhaustive list that changes with the wind.
20. what do you want most in the world right now?
not to have to exist as myself or live the life i'm living. (darmine doggy door voice) my life is nothing i thought it should be and everything i was worried it would become.
21. if you could tell your past self one thing, what would it be?
all the times you thought about ending it you probably should have ha ha! a comical jape. let's try this again. it's not going to get any better when you grow up shit! okay. third try's the charm.
genuinely, i would tell my past self that internalizing all my feelings about getting sick in order to placate the perceived burden of having to be around me is actually just going to lead to a lifetime of emotional issues and hella therapy bills, but considering i grew up in the most emotionally stunted family alive, this would have changed nothing and probably made me feel infinitely worse and just left me with a different host of emotional issues and hella therapy bills. Now, I would like to introduce part 2 of my top 12 list of obscure RWBY villians! Spoilers Ahoy! Naturally, this list also contains several spoilers for the various RWBY comics, manga, games, and splinter video series. Continue at your own peril! Starting with number 6 and working our way down to number 1.
6. Dr. Merlot - Honestly, I am a little surprised that I am placing Dr. Merlot this high on the list. If Hei Xiong is your standard mob boss-type villian, than Dr. Merlot is your poster child mad scientist. Basically like Arthur Watts, if Arthur was a flat Saturday morning cartoon villain. Stereotypical or not, he is still an entertaining villain in the game 'Grimm Eclipse' (as well as in the 'Combat Ready' board game). He even received the honor of having his own theme song, courtesy of Jeff and Casey Williams.
5. Master - This is perhaps the strangest entry on this list. The honorific of 'villain' is also a bit of a stretch. This one comes from Ruby's Anthology manga. In this manga, a mysterious red-cloaked figure begins causing mischief around Beacon. Stealing people's weapons, beating up upper classmen, and most grievously, ruining Juane's precious comic books. Ruby decides to take preemptive action to stop this doppelganger before an angry mob can form to beat the cookies and rainbows out of her. This Ruby lookalike is actually a berserk robot that Penny had borrowed as a surprise for Ruby. Together, they vanquish this creepy monstrosity right before a an oddly smiling Weiss murders Ruby for getting her sword broken. Honestly, this whole ordeal made no sense, but was surprisingly amusing.
4. Emperor of Mistral - Faunist slavery? Check. Cultural subjugation and attacks on the arts (except for himself). Check. Warmongering to expand his power. Check. Hypocritical booger-eater? Check. In other words, a real bog-sucking meanie-head. Dare I go on? He is only mentioned during the 'World of Remnant' series and so little is known about him other than for these charming traits. Still, I will place him at number 4 due to how well he fits the bill as an obscure villain.
3. The Warrior - An enigmatic servant of Salem, this villain is cut straight out of the 'Fairy Tales of Remnant'. In the story, 'The Infinite Man,' a group of people rally around a hero who is said to reincarnate. This group becomes 'The Circle,' an organization determined to protect humanity from the Grimm and bring peace to the land. And just like the Huntsman Academies that would serve the same role in the future, this society inevitably falls into ruin. The Warrior invades The Circle and challenges the Infinite Man to a battle. Through the ferocity of their fight, great damage is done to the town and The Infinite Man worries that nothing will be left if he continues the fight. This was his last and gravest mistake in that life. After forfeiting his life, The Warrior breaks her promise and kills nearly everyone. There are morals to this tale. But for those, you should read the book.
2. System No. XX - What do you get when you cross GLaDOS from Portal with Ellen DeGeneres (idk, she was the first witty person who came to mind)? This entertainingly psycho computer from the game 'Blaze Blue: Cross Tag Battle'. In it, warriors from four different universes (BlazBlue, Persona 4: Arena, Under Night In-Birth, and of course, RWBY) are trapped in a separate reality and forced to compete for survival in this comedic fighter game. I honestly have no interest in figher games. But the constant humor and surprisingly on-character dialogue from Team RWBY make the game surprisingly entertaining. I also just like how they were still students at the time they were abducted but are still able to kick butt against people like Ragna. ANYWAYS, System No. XX might be manipulative and cutthroat, but they sure know how to bring some levity to survival situations. Combine that with the RWBY-specific ending and they have landed on the number 2 spot for me (banner photo for this post is of Ruby fighting No. XX from this game). Definitely cut from a different circuit board than Penny, at least on the whole enslaving human souls' front.
The Crown - Those of you who have read the RWBY books will know what I am talking about. And those of you who haven't should be reading those books right now instead of this boring blog post. Or even better, listening to it. Following the happenings of Team CFVY after the Fall of Beacon, these books (excluding Roman Holiday) are wrapped up in a conspiracy brewing in Vacou over a mysterious group of people known as The Crown. I will not delve into it hear less I spoil the story, so I encourage any RWBY fan reading this to check it out for themselves. While the events in this book take place in Vacou between volumes 4 and 8, I doubt that Volume 10 will make many references to these events to avoid confusing the 99% of people who have not read these stories. But, I hope they add some easter eggs in at least! But first, we need to Greenlight Volume 10!
For the three of you who were bored enough to read this blog post, thank you! I am done rambling now, goodbye.

saw this on ur Twitter but PLEASE talk about all your various bushmedicines. For me but also only if you want to of course
(blease)
SKDFKSDKF OMFG my many many many bushmeds... yeas.. most of these are Mega works in progress but i think it's good to jot them down here so that i can revisit them when i work out character designs/ref sheets and whatnot! and these are just the ones off of the top of my head! @_@ i surely have more buried in my gf and i's server LOL. sooooo let's break it down really quick! HEHE:
My "Canon" medsnip: the medic and sniper in Thou Giveth Fever is just the Main/Default/Canon/Whatever medic and sniper. takes place in same universe right after the comics!
My gf and i's medsnip: arlowe and wren! a lot of their story takes place pre-teufort but they eventually become RED's medic and sniper! ^v^ "canon" red medic and sniper don't exist in this universe. they're already dating by the time they wind up at teufort together! we're still working on a lot of their backstories but i'll eventually talk more about them/write a fic for them too! ^u^
My vampire medsnip: tumblr Adores them.., yes.,., my vampire medic and hunter sniper! sniper's a vampire hunter who is hired by vampire medic to do some dirty work for him. they end up falling for each other... but not before spilling a lot of blood together!
have another version of them drafted where sniper's a herbalist and falls in love with a Big Mean Vampire who once used to love healing humans more than he loves harming them.. :'( they fall in love.,., show each other tenderness... HEHEHE..
My cult god medsnip: medic is a shapeshifting god/demon/spirit/whatever that thrives and grows in power from the cult that is convinced he exists and worships him. likes toying with them and giving them "signs" he exists and whatnot and loves the praise because, well, who wouldn't! :-) hoo! buuuut a Certain Denier has caught his eye...! sniper thinks that cult nonsense is a load of crap and doesn't fall for it. Naturally this makes medic Carnally Desire him and his attention... HEHE... >:)
My swamp monster medsnip: sniper is a werecroc that lives out in the comfy cozy australian bush/marshland (haven't decided yet). rough it as a human and also as a crocodile and loves being alone. until one day a very curious "Doctor" starts stomping around his secluded slice of heaven in search of/researching the plants and animals of the area (to harvest for his zany experiments of course!)... sniper hates people but this one just seems kind of... Charming... hmm.... !
My eldritch medsnip: MEGA work in progress. need to think about this more actually.,., Medic Is Not What He Says He Is and sniper has a hunch... ;-) medic has a "breath of life" ability which is ironic because the hurting is more rewarding than the healing! :'( HEHE. also have a cool idea for an eldritch sniper but idk if i'd want to fit them in Together or have separate aus!
My old retired domestic medsnip: would follow my "canon" medsnip. years and years later, some vague skip of time. the sorrow..,., the sweetness.,., in the Unlikely Event they retire... how might that go.. :) sniper's fine with aging but medic is NOT. everything can be defied! age! death! isn't that what you want sniper!! but maybe sniper wants to retire to some small house on the german coast with medic.,., medic can extend his life infinitely with his "devil deal" but what about his sniper.,., who has already died once... but could either of them Really ever retire...? HEHEH.., i've actually written a lot of this and i should probably publish it in a standalone fic. very emotional very angsty!!
My pony medsnip: EHE this is an extremely self indulgent one but i love it all the same! does what it says on the tin... what if they were ponies!! i've talked about it here and posted sniper's design here! i need to work on medic's just for the sake of having my own ref sheet to match sniper's but i talk about him in the twt thread i linked! ^u^ <3 i just love gushing about them because i love ponies!!
My demon medsnip: have a couple different versions of this General Concept buut the one i'll mention is a conspiracy theorist/total shut-in/sex-starved/supernatural sighter sniper summoning a demon medic... but instead of it being the kind of demon sniper was after (for whatever reason. havent figured it out yet), it turns out medic's a lust demon... Smirks
My merfolk medsnip: ONE I REALLY LOVE I JUST HAVENT GOTTEN AROUND TO FLESHING OUT YET GRAAHH... i love the idea of one being human and one being a merperson but i also love the idea of them both being merfolk... BUUUUUUT the idea of fisherman sniper living on the australian coast all alone his whole life and mermedic watching him From Afar and sighing lovingly... ;__; GOUGWOAUAAAA ;;; i have Some Picks for what their Fishy Parts would be too but i still need to narrow them down. BWAH!!

howdy all! kip here, am i re-introducing myself to you, not really. but kai's my main blog so hi, i'm them. hehe, anyways here is a post tour, organized and updated intro for infinite's bad, baby boy! you can find his profile, kprofile, and pinterest linked and all the updated information is bellow!
—— welcome to infinite entertainment! it's MALACHI 'KAISO' SOH, who is a SOLOIST. i’ve heard whispers that the 23 year old is pretty CHARMING but lowkey DISQUETED. also, doesn’t he remind you of KIM SUNWOO?
pre-debut
malachi was born to single mother soh jimin (jaime soh) in daegu. she moved to a suburb of chicago before he was even able to talk so he was raised there.
he grew up in a south suburb of the city that wasn’t the greatest place, malachi knew night sirens and metal detectors at the doors of his school the next morning.
his mother struggled with addiction most of his life, and kai often found himself surviving and gathering his basic needs on his own.
he has a love/hate relationship with his mom she was very much not a great woman but she tried.
they didn’t have a lot of cash and kai had to start working at a young age he excelled in school and this allowed him to go to a nice “private” school on scholarship later in his school career, with the extra resources he was able to really excel in the things he loved (art, poetry, music, etc).
with the help of the school and the community around him they budded his love for music and comics and things of that nature, helping get him the things he needed.
while at his new school he met his new gang of friends, and a shared love of music pushed them to form a small little band that took off by being just really really talented kids with a lot of spunk. (side note: fell in love with a girl in said band and well…he’s self destructive.)
but his time there was short lived as the moment he was scouted at a talent competition, (along with another band mate), as their front man he took the first flight they offered to korea and joined a pretty big, though relatively new company. never looking back and getting as far away from jaime as possible.
he came to korea subsequently alone as he does/did his best to cut all contact with the only family he had.
he never got to finish high school in a normal high school and despite being incredibly smart he finished at his performance school with subpar grades, mans was extremely depressed during his trainee days.
at debut
unlike a lot of idols malachi had the opportunity to technically debut 3 times.
his first debut was in 2013, he debuted as the producer, leader, main rapper and center of epik at starglass entertainment.
his time in epik was terrible to say the least, his social anxiety began to manifest in its full form. and of course like most companies back then they hadn’t really care and made little efforts to keep it at bay. instead they pushed him to be the face of the band as the only english speaker and member with performance experience and malachi, fighting his own demons was forced to take care of 6 other boys.
epik was the type of group with a boyish sound (i cannoned their disco to being nct dream and seventeen), they were known for their bright colors and fresh concepts and hard hitting, synchronized choreography.
they were known as a ‘clean group’ absent of scandals and korea’s pride but even in that malachi was not happy.
he did give his all and was granted the third gen ‘it’ boy, title shortly into his debut
even writing and producing most of the groups disco there were seldom any moments he was deliberately proud of the sound and style of the group, on top of his failing mental health and worsening depression. this pushed him to fall from his quiet but entertaining and personable idol to a more reserved, background character of his group even as the leader. while he was a popular member, the decline in his interacting directly led to the slight decline in his popularity.
to add to his work load he was asked to write and produce for his companies girl group at the time (canoned ex-iz*one) later in his career and helped produce a few of their hits
personally he felt as though because of this the company started to ‘neglect him’ a bit more. almost as a punishment for causing fan backlash from his change in ambiance as well as popularity, and eventually decided to prematurely terminate his contract with starglass in 2017.
during his time in epik he’d ground close with their manager, who essentially followed him into the purgatory that was being without a company. he stayed with that manager from the moment he left the epik dorm all the way through his trainee days in the new company.
it was also during his darkest times in epik that he became close with fellow soloist fleur, who resparked the fleeting flame of the job he use to love. she pushed his production career further by allowing him to write a few songs for her, resulting in his very first industry collab as a soloist later dien
during career
in  the same year malachi found himself slightly homeless but at a new company (PSYCH Ent.)  who was also pretty new themselves. they had two groups under their belt a girl group and a boy group who were popular but not as much (i guess the vibes of like??? g-idle before recently and maybe like stray kids in the very beginning?) but with his faith in them he re-debuted with a new concept, a new sound and something that was unapologetically him.
by 2018 he released a single, under a new name ‘kaiso’ and beneath the new company and it went viral as the ‘ace of epik’ was finally coming back to the industry
it took him a while to get fully back to it and for awhile he simply released one ep and a few singles and collabs before disappearing for a little. and he would continue to do that for awhile.
though he was hardly in the spot light between releases he gained popularity for a lot of things, and one of them was his ‘big change.’ the dopey leader had become stone cold, he showed his tattoos and faked smiles, he kept his fans close and very few other idols in the industry closer. leaving him with the reputation of being a ‘bad boy.’ backs would straighten and gazes would lower as kaiso entered the green rooms at music shows.
it was a rumor he didn’t care to clear up and honestly enjoyed how people would often not talk to him, leaving him in his little bubble with his fans and company. (think namjoon of bts or eric nam when it comes to fans).
after awhile, with malachi being psych’s biggest money pit, and sent him only on the first infinite tour. it was during this time that malachi met his current girlfriend, officially, and began to open up a bit more to the industry even as they used his past as the ‘biggest reason’ to his success.
but ultimately after the original infinite tour, kai’s company decided to participate in the acquisition for kai’s benefit,. he was their top earning artist and felt like a bigger company would do him good. they decided not to take the two former, veteran groups and while the boy group disbanded, the girls were taken on by a bigger company.
he still likes to refer to himself as a part of PSYC Ent. as the idea of being a part of a bigger company puts a foul taste in his mouth.
as he got bigger he began sending jaime money every month to make sure she was situated and also as an incentive to literally never talk to him again.
infinite tour
during the infinite tour as stated above kai had grown a lot. he acquired space in his friends lives and began to let them take up space in his.
at his current manager’s request he began therapy during the original tour and it had been helping.
he came out with tons of music both years, the constant moving keeping him in the writers room even if it meant he was over worked and overwhelmed.
during the first tour he began to struggle with his idol identity, wondering if he was doing himself a disservice to abandon his years of idol training to become this pariah of low eyes and low energy.
he essentially began retraining and trying to become the idol he was in epik, while staying true to himself unlike he was able to back then.
this led to a lot of uneasiness and malachi scrapping albums after albums over again and putting out more dance oriented tracks, attempting to fall in love with stage again like he’d had in high school.
with the help of some push from friends and a great choreographer (thanks mei) kai released tracks like ‘birthday’., ‘eye on you’ and even was recruited for an all soloist co-ed group by the company (called re:gn) as well as a subsidiary of said group (K!NG)
he quickly became infinite’s only in house producers who was also an idol and has written, produced and composed at least once for every group except tidal. he works the most with braveheart and indigo as their sound(s) are the closest to his style. he’s also the only producer for FLEUR (Kim Seonhwa) and has worked on/produced a lot of the solo releases for a lot of the idols in the company.
with the infinite tour gaining popularity and more idols were beginning to interact with him, he is now known pretty much to be a bit dark and mysterious and unapproachable, but he’s deadass just a ball of shy anxiousness.
during this time he also had come to the conclusion that he loves making music, but detests being an idol but takes the fame anyway because he likes what he does
notable moments include, an incident at a 'kick back' in his home town that would have brought his entire world crashing down. him breaking down into uncontrollable sobs on stage in chicago, and his mother showing up randomly at his seoul town home during a break in the first tour, forcing them to 'revive' their tumultuous relationship. and pre-maturely introduced her to his now current girlfriend.
canons/personality tidbits & quirks
you can call him malachi or kai, though mostly close friends (which he barely has) call him kai
his korean name is soh duri
he’s a scorpio (sun), aquarius (moon) and a taurus (rising)
If you ever work with kai on a song, it’s going to be a masterpiece. not saying it’s bc of his talent as a writer and producer but he’s super particular about music and how it makes people feel
some general aesthetics about him - think of him as, “the feeling of neo soul, marijuana smoke wafting around the studio, the neon lights of the city, the bad boy with a sweet smile, 90s-00s r&b”
he’s the type to be in the studio all night and run off of red bull and cigarettes for the next day
is a pot head and no i’m not sorry about it
if you manage to get close to him he WILL take care of you, always at all times. You well be fed, clothed, and loved through and through
can talk about music all day every day
loves fashion
loves tattoos has drawn all the ones he’s gotten
bi-sexual king, loves him some men and some ladies.
loves loves art so much
has so much respect for idols before him
quiet boy
give him sweets he’ll become your personal puppy
he’s a brand ambassador for dior but is wanting to possibly change that
he loves anime, manga and comics, fave superhero is spiderman, fave anime is one piece, fave manga is chainsaw man
overall kai is the resident bad boy with a heart of gold. his upbringing makes dealing with his anxiety and anger hard, and his shyness is just something he's working to over come. he's had a hard life in general but the addition of his hard time as an idol has really thrown in him in a hole he's struggling to dig out of. he finds tranquility in the smoke of marijuana or in the arms of the chair in his studio whether he be working on music or art and uses his life experiences to navigate his life in the future. he'll hang on to your every word even if it seems like he's not listening, take in all the little details about you and every gift you receive will always be special...you just gotta...yah know be let in first. so fingers crossed he talks to you!
updates post tour
not much has changed post tour, kai is still pursuing the merging of all the different versions of him, his chicago boy, his global superstar, and who he’s become now.
since coming back to seoul he’s brought on his girlfriend to live with him.
he plans on releasing more music for himself and with various artists by the end of the year
he’s strongly considering changing up his sound and experimenting a bit more out of his r&b wave.
he’s wanting to branch out a bit more, get in with some idols he hasn’t really talked with as well as mend some relationships he’s broken a bit.
also loathes the reality tv idea but is happy they’ll be stationary for awhile.
will add more as post tour goes!
connections/wanted plots
motive - kai notices that you’re  getting close to him. he can feel the lingering eyes and notice the soft touches but you’ve always been some sort of loose canon. he can’t tell if this bad boy/girl/person demeanor is real and if it is what are you motives with a shy and quiet being like him? (open to anyone)
first love - kai’s relationship with music is something that can be admired, he gets accolades from interviewers and other artists and thats the thing you bond over. you often find yourselves sharing earphones or in some studio. whether you’re dancing, creating or singing its easy for night to turn into day just in each other’s presence. now your friendship goes beyond music. you’re each others confidants in your most stressful moments. (danbi)
pretty little fears - he’d grown a crush on you from afar, but after a chance encounter he seems to be infatuated. his shy and bashful demeanor battles with his want to play cool. and he finds himself lost in watching you speak and aching to hold your hand, wanting to sweep you off your feet but...his anxiety just wont allow it just yet. (dae)
midnight sky - malachi and your relationship was one full of electricity. but one thing he couldn’t handle was feeling small. you’re older than him and in the midst of the rendezvous he felt as if he was a baby toddling after you at all times. maybe it was the way you treated him or maybe it was his own insecurities, but sometimes he finds him self missing the security of your arms. breaking up was some form of rebellion in his eyes and he pretends to feel liberated but he’s not sure if his pride got in the way of something good, or if he dodged a controlling bullet.
nonchalant - to say you have a feud in the industry is maybe an overstatement but the boiling blood is still aroused. you’ve been an artist of your caliber for awhile and you think malachi is gimicky. his transfer from being in such a big idol group to kr&b was a large leap and the inkling that he’s riding on old fame with a fake image is a prickle in your mind. kai respects you too much as an artist and often finds himself trying to prove to you that he’s where he should be. even if that means muddling disses into his music.
best friend/patonic soulmates (can be plotted) (seungho)
industry friends ( 0/3 would be kind of like a clique of friends that are known in the industry similar to the third gens ‘97 liners )
produced for you/your group
smoke buddies (hanuel a friend he often takes care of/babies (ren)
older sibling figure (seonhwa)
old bandmate that he got scouted with (angel)
manager (ilsu)
mother figure (islu)
and literally anything else pls just love him

Hi Mei question what are you favorite characters from all fiction? Because in my case i have about top 10 list plus honorable mentions:
1. Spider-man (Peter Parker and Miles Morales) (Marvel Comics)- I honestly love these two spider-man because how relatable they are. Not to mention i feel like they are the definition of responsability. I honestly related to Peter Parker's nerdy actitud and humor along with Miles's personality wise. I also love the fact thag Miles have a strong love for his family as well. Not to mention both of these characters don't give up no matter how hopeless things gets.
2. Superman (DC Comics)- Some people considered superman boring but i really love his caracter because he embodies Hope. Not to mention he is someone who always tries to do what is right and have a very strong moral compass. I still remember when i was younger and saw superman returns when he lifted the kypotonite Island. Even when it was killing him he still keep going and never gave up that's is inspiration.
3. Batman (DC Comics)- If we ignored all the batman with prep time thing. Batman is actually a well written character. Especially since he tries to do the right thing for his city. I also love the fact that even though he is human and is very aware of that he plans ahead and works very hard. The fact that mlst characters in the DC world respects him that speaks volumen.
4. Optimus Prime (Transformers)- I love optimus prime for me he is what a leader should be. Selfless, just and someone who always fights for freedom no matter what. He is the leader that i wish i could be.
5. Kratos (God of war franchise). To a bloodthirty and revenge seeking spartan to a reedem warrior. As someone who played the OG god of war games. Kratos in the recent years have one of the best character development, especially now in the recent DLC.
6. Anakin Skywalker Aka Darth Vader (Star Wars)- he went to a slave to the Dark lord of the Sith. Once a hero became the villain by fear of lost of loved one. For me Anakin is a tragic character who wanted to protect the love of his life but failed and became the thing he was supposed to destroy. At the end he was redeemed thanks to his son.
7. Black Panther (Marvel Comics)- i love his character intelligent, strong and just for his people and his kingdom. The fact that Chadwick Boseman (Rest in Peace) played such and awesome character made it better.
8. Wonder Woman (DC Comics)- The proud amazonian and a proud member of the Justice League. She is strong, honorable and compassionate making her an Icon and a part of DC trinity.
9. The Flash (Barry Allen, DC comics)- i love is perseverance and willpower since he never gave up on searching for his mother's killer. After becoming the fastest man alive is character development continue and his death on infinite crisis was a huge moment.
10. John Wick (John Wick series)- the legendary baba yaga this man willpower and tenacity made me love his character by a lot. He has an impresive body count and commites to his mision. To think all of that started with a puppy left behind by his late wife. What i like about his character is that he never stop until he got his revenge.
Honorable Mention
Issac Clarke (dead space series)- An engineer who was on the wrong place at the wrong time. To a dependable and selfless survivor.
Kiana Kaslana (Honkai Impact 3rd)- the naive girl to the strongest valkyrie in the honkai series.
Lara Croft (Tomb Raider series)- one of the greatest if not THE greatest Adventurer in all of gaming.
Nathan Drake (Uncharted)- One of sony most charming and beloved characters.
Leon Kennedy (Resident Evil series)-Rookie cop to a well experience agent of the resident evil franchise.
I see you like superheroes! My siblings were mostly into anime, so that's what I grew up with instead of Marvel/DC comics. I've been wanting to get into them for years now, but there are so many movies and heroes that it's a bit overwhelming... I also don't have the attention span to sit through an entire movie.
I wouldn't be able to choose any favorites with how much fiction I've read/watched/played, but here are some characters I've really enjoyed recently in no particular order:
Dr. Mobius - She's insane. Literally. She has a sad backstory, but it doesn't tie that much into why she goes to such extents to achieve her goals. I just like morally grey characters in general. I also really like her dynamics with the other flamechasers!
Frieren - She's so unserious, but she's come a long way. She went from not really caring about humans, only spending her time pursuing magic, to actively helping out anyone she sees in need like Himmel used to. To be loved is to be changed, they say. She's just an old woman traveling around the world with her adopted grandchildren while collecting the remaining traces of the 10-year adventure that she treasured the most in her 1000+ years alive.
Rudeus Greyrat - Okay. Before people burn me alive, he's absolutely disgusting and a pedophile. Yet, at the same time, that's what makes his character development way more impactful. He went from worse than trash and the maggots living inside it to worse than cattle, which is still a pretty big improvement in my book. The main reason why I put him here, though, is because of the scene where he reunited with his father. I'm not a very expressive person, but that scene had me tearing up because of how relatable it was.
Elysia - I love her, and the best part is that she'd probably love me too! She went through so much, saw the worst of humanity, and still decided to love the entirety of it. I really admire how she can see beauty in anything and everything. She wasn't even supposed to exist. She was an anomaly, and yet she was what saved everyone. Also, the one thing we have in common is our love for pretty girls.
Miles Morales - ITSV and ATSV are one of the only Marvel movies I've watched, and I enjoyed both of them immensely! They blended 2D and 3D animation techniques so well together, the halftones were used really well, and all of the colors really made the characters pop. I could go on for hours about how well the movies were animated, but back to the point— even though he's a hero, and a very reliable one at that, the show doesn't let us forget that he's still a kid. He still has to balance his responsibilities while at the same time, fighting crime and dealing with puberty. He also just seems like a really chill person to be friends with. We're both into similar branches of science and art, so I think we'd get along pretty well.
