Okay, hear me out.
Cockwarming with poly!Paul and Seth?!!
after being up for about 20 minutes contemplating waking one of the boys to help you out, you finally caved and rolled over to gently squeeze seth's bicep.
you were notorious for getting extra anxious and clingy in the days leading up to your period and, for whatever reason, sleeping between both boys wasn't enough for you.
seth let out a soft groan when you squeezed his arm again, reaching his hand up to blearily knuckle at his eyes, "'s wrong?" he murmured, wrapping his other arm around you to gently pull you closer to his side.
you rested your hand on his lower abdomen, "jus' wanna be close to you," you responded, voice barely above a whisper as a result of your shyness over the whole ordeal and a weak attempt to not wake up the third member of your trio.
seth just let out a breathy laugh, nodding, "give me a minute," he said softly, using his free hand to tug his sweatpants and boxers down so he could kick them off the bed. you barely contained your whine as you watched his cock begin to harden against his abdomen.
seth reached his hand down to gently pump at his cock a few times to ensure he was hard enough to enter you. you felt yourself subconsciously pulling your bottom lip between your teeth as you watched, always entranced by the fact that seth and paul were yours.
he smiled to himself when he realized how you were watching him, taking the hand that he had wrapped around you to gently tug your (well actually paul's) shirt up a bit only to discover that you had kicked your panties off earlier in the night when you first realized just how needy you were.
seth's lips barely brushed up against your ear as he murmured, "you're something else,"
you couldn't help the blush that coated your cheeks as you felt tingles running up your spine over his touch, mentally praying it was dark enough so that seth wouldn't be able to see the pink that currently covered your cheeks.
he tightened his grip on your hip, helping you sit up so you could straddle his waist. he sucked in a sharp breath when you reached down to wrap your hand around his cock, reaching your thumb up to gently spread the precum around the tip of his cock that had begun to spill out.
"lift your hips," seth murmured, seeming to lose his patience a bit when he felt the way your thumb was rubbing the head of his cock. you barely contained your giggles as you did as he complied, lifting your hips enough so that you could line seth's cock up with your hole.
"take a deep breath for me," seth said softly as he tightened both hands on your hips, waiting until he heard you inhale to tug your hips down so you engulfed his length.
both of you did your best to keep your moans quiet as you connected but apparently weren't quiet enough because the third member of your trio woke up just as you finished connecting with seth.
"what the hell-" paul started, voice raspy as he knuckled at his eyes in an attempt to figure out what on earth you and seth were doing at 2 in the morning, "oh for fuck's sake," paul grumbled when he saw the way you were straddling seth's bare waist.
seth smiled up at you, "c'mere pretty girl," he cooed, sliding his hands up your back to gently tug you down to his chest, "ignore paul," he added teasingly, both of you letting out laughs at his comment.
you rested your cheek against seth's chest so you could peek at your other imprinter who was rolling his eyes at seth's comment, "want you too," you murmured and a ghost of a smile crossed his face.
"needy little thing," paul grumbled as he kicked his sweatpants and boxers off so he was also naked for you. you smiled as seth gently rolled you over so you were on your side while paul pumped his length in his hands to harden himself for you.
you wrapped your arms around seth's neck as paul slid his hand over your hip while he lined his cock up with your entrance, knowing you were more than ready to take him considering the two of them had just fucked you senseless earlier in the night.
seth chuckled as you buried your face in the crook of his neck, holding him close to you as you felt the tip of paul's cock brushing up against you and seth, eliciting a soft whine from you.
"you've got it," seth cooed, gently running his hand up and down your side, "take a deep breath for me," he added, paul waiting until you inhaled to push his cock inside your walls.
both boys let out low groans at the sensation, their grips on you tightening as they felt the way your walls were desperately working to stretch around the two of them, "there you go," paul murmured as you took some deep breaths, gently squeezing your hip.
after a few moments, you lifted your head up and yawned, eliciting soft laughs from both boys, "you gonna go back to sleep pretty girl?" seth asked softly and you nodded, resting your head back down on the pillow and nuzzling your face into the crook of his neck, content with falling back asleep now that you had both boys so intimately connected to you.

pov: you find out about your boyfriend, seth and his friends being able to shift into wolves
"You don't have to do this if you don't want to, you know?" Seth asked for the milionth time.
"I do want to meet your friends, seth, I know how important they are to you" I reassured him with a smile.
We were now walking through the reservation, heading towards emily and sam uley's house, where seth's friends often hung out. We had been talking about this for a while and I figured that I would have met them sometime anyway, since Seth and I had been dating for a few months.
As soon as we reached the house, a few dark haired, shirtless and tan boys ran out, their faces radiating with excitment.
"So you're the lucky girl, huh?" one of them looked me up and down.
"Seth seems to be luckier, Jared. I'm Paul Lahote" another smirked as he held out his hand.
I took it nervously and said: "Y/N Y/L/N"
They each then shook my hand and greeted me.
"Embry Call. Nice to finally meet you, Y/N."
"Seth talks about you all the time, trust me. I'm Quil"
Seth lightly punched his shoulder and the boys laughed.
And so on. After introducing themselves, they sprinted back into the house as someone called for them. Seth and I stayed behind and he softly squeezed my hand, before saying:
"Seems to be going good"
"They all seem like great friends" I smiled at him.
"They are" he smiled back. "But if you ever bring this up, I'll deny it"
We both laughed and he turned to me as we reached the doorway and placed a soft kiss on my lips.
The boys sat at the table made puking sounds and jokingly covered their eyes with their hands.
Seth and I laughed it off, right before a woman scolded them.
I hadn't even noticed her; after she turned around, she came up to us and hugged me, then introduced herself as Emily Young.
"You're Sam's wife, ri-"
"His imprint" Paul cut me off.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as the boys all snapped at him, Jared's elbow hitting Paul's side, perhaps a bit harder than he meant.
In response to Jared, Paul got up, his chair falling to the ground, and pushed Jared a few meters back. They were yelling at each other as the other boys were quick to drag them out of the house, both of their bodies shaking violently.
"Stay here with Emily" Seth whispered, then ran towards them.
She and I got out on the porch, incapable of interfering.
Jacob was holding Paul back by his arm, while Quil and Jared were trying to calm Jared down, the other boys standing in between them.
"Cool off guys, Sam's about to get here" Emily shouted.
It was no use; swiftly, Paul freed himswlf from Jacob's grip and shockingly enough, his body contorsioned into the one of a huge, ash-gray wolf. Jared was quick to jump back at him, only he had transformed as well. Paul sank his teeth somewhere around the other guy's shoulder, who howled in pain before striking back.
When I was finally able to look away from the fight, my eyes searched for my boyfriend, with fear. He was nowhere to be seen; instead, in the place he last stood was now a wolf, who was a bit shorter than the rest, eyes looking into mine.
"Seth" I whispered.
I was frightened; not really of the huge wolves, though, but rather for Seth, praying he wouldn't get hurt.
I was pulled out of my train of thought by the shouting of another man, who was fastly approaching them. His head turned to me for a moment, before his clothes all fell onto the ground, shredded, as the greatest of wolves stood next to the fighting boys. He was visibly taller with black fur, his chest pressing forward as he held his head high; "must be their leader" I thought to myself.
Suddenly, the wolves all backed up, Paul and Jared's bowing in front of Sam. After a few moments in which all looked the great wolf in the eyes, they scattered running into the forest, nowhere to be seen.
Emily grabbed my arm softly and urged me inside.
"Come on, they'll be here soon"
"Are they going to be okay?" I asked quickly, much worried for them all, tears forming in my eyes.
She looked at me and sighed, stroking my hair.
"Yes, they'll be okay, sweetheart. This happens pretty much on a daily basis around here"
I gulped, with shock.
"So this... this huge wolf thing is common around here?"
She laughed and nodded.
"They'll explain everything to you when they get here"
As soon as she said that, the tan boys came back into the house, all laughing and joking around, Paul and Jared included. All except for Seth and Sam, who stayed behind, talking in a very serious demeanor. As they reached the house, Seth stopped into the doorway while Sam came uo to Emily and kissed her tenderly. Then, he turned to me and said:
"Seth wishes to talk to you, kid."
I nervously walked outside, meeting his anxious gaze.
We sat in silence for a few moments before I bursted out loud:
"Oh Seth, are you all alright?"
I checked his arms and chest and back, searching for any sign of harm, yet he was spotless.
"Yeah, I'm fine" he laughed, still tense.
I exhaled, relieved and hugged him tight.
"Are... are you not absolutely terrified by me? Do you not want to never talk to me again?"
I giggled against his warm shoulder.
"No, of course I'm not scared of you. I mean, was I completely taken aback when all you guys turned into huge wolves? Yeah, sure. But scared of you? No, never." I shook my head as I voiced the last words.
"I love you" he said, finally relaxed.
"I love you too"

Hi, if you can, please write something about Seth Clearwater imprinting with a very playful girl who loves to tease him and make him shy and nervous like lifting his shirt or kissing his cheeks, or else a scenario where they go to a school dance together and he declares his old crush on her. Feel free to change the things you want, thank you so much❤️
I love love love Seth! I had a lot of fun writing this. Thank you so so so much for requesting something. I’m new at this and English is not my first language so I’m sorry for any mistakes. As you can see I went a little overboard with this one haha! Hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
“Are you serious? You wanna take me to the dance?” Seth could feel his cheeks warm up and he began stuttering a little. “I mean, if you want to. If you don’t that’s okay, it’s just I mean” Seth rambled on and it made you giggle a little. The last dance of the year, your last year. Your last chance to tell him how you feel. “I mean it’s the last dance and I’d like to spend it with my best friend” Seth blushes as he finishes his sentence. You slightly wince at the last two words but manage to smile. “Last dance, Seth. You and me” you share a smile.
You and Seth have a little complicated relationship. You are playful, sarcastic and very spontaneous while he’s very shy, quiet and soft. He’s always nervous about everything, even if it’s just talking to you. You are just friends but that doesn’t mean you don’t have feelings for the boy. The feelings started very early on in your friendship. You saw him evolve from a boy into a man.
Little did you know he’s feeling the exact same thing. He’s always so shy but knew you were right for him the moment he saw you and it all became clear the older you became. You are no longer the little girl he fell in love with, you are the woman he loves. And he plans to do that for the rest of his life, starting with the night of the dance. The perfect setting.
Three weeks later you’re waiting in the living room of your home with your parents who are beaming at you. “You look so beautiful sweetheart!” Your father holds up his phone to take picture number 300. You roll your eyes at their enthousiasme. “He’s here!” Your mother rushes to the front door to let Seth in. He walks in and you let out a small gasp as you see him. He’s wearing a black tux with a white undershirt and black bow tie. He’s holding a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a small box in the other. He hands your mother the flowers, giving her a small kiss on the cheeks and shakes your fathers hand.
“You look absolutely stunning” he leans down to kiss your cheek and you beam up at him. “I know right, I’m wearing a dress. I mean, that’s something” you joke and he smiles back. You look at the box in his hands and he opens it. A gorgeous corsage is laying there, matching the color of your dress. “How did you -“ you abruptly look at your mom who looks away sheepishly. You and Seth grin at each other.
The entire evening is full of laughter and jokes. You tease Seth throughout the evening and he just blushes or looks away smiling. When the dj announces the last dance of the evening, Seth takes your hand and leads you to the dance floor. “No stepping on my feet, Clearwater!” You laugh at him as he puts both his hands on your hips. He softly squeezes them as he laughs with you. “Just dance, beautiful. And listen to the lyrics while your at it” he whispers in your ear.
The song More than friends by Meghan Trainor and Jason Mraz comes on and when I listen to the lyrics I softly laugh. “You trying to tell me something or?” You try to joke but you fail miserably when he looks at you with a small smile. Your heart starts beating rapidly against your chest and you can feel your hands become sweaty.
“Yeah I am, beautiful. I have this stupid crush on you that turned into so much more. This is my last chance to tell you how I feel and I though maybe this would be the right moment. I love you, I think I always have. I don’t want to be your best friend, I want to be more. I want be the one you think about when you wake up and when you go to sleep. I want to be the guy that you point at and say “that’s my man” when you’re with your friends. But i get it if you don’t want that or if you don’t see me like that, I mean” you cut of his rambling and push your lips to his.
“I’m yours Seth, always have been” he smiles and kisses you again.
Last dance, last chance. And you wouldn’t trade it for the world.

“Hey, did you get Embry's text?” You ask, frowning at the notification in your phone. It was early Saturday morning, you weren't supposed to meet until later in the day. It was Saturday!
Apparently, there was a new threat in the city and they need all the help they could get. Embry couldn't have been more ominous in the text.
Waiting for your coffee to finish brewing, you typed a quick reply back to your friend, alerting that Seth and you would be there in ten minutes.
Probably twenty if Seth didn't respond to you any second now. Although, it didn't take you long to realize you were home alone.
“Morning!” A wet kiss met your cheek and you blink at your sweaty boyfriend walking past you to reach the fridge. “Why are you up so early? We still have time before—”
“No, we don't,” you cut him off with arms folding across your chest. Slightly annoyed at his energetic persona before ten o'clock of a Saturday. He probably went on his morning jog. “Embry said we're needed now. The whole pack.” Seth is too busy dripping cool water on the floor of your kitchen to bother with you, apparently.
He kisses the back of your neck as your pouring coffee on your mug and you flinch away with a groan.
“Cold.”
He bites the skin on your shoulder softly and exits the kitchen before you can curse at him.
“Drink your coffee, baby. You're grumpy!”
“And you, stop making the whole apartment wet!”
Idiot.
You love him. You truly do — after the first sip into your favourite beverage you start remembering that. It's just rule number one for you, you can't function in the morning without your coffee.
However, when you check the hour, you sprint away to your room to get ready before even taking a sip of your cup. You're later than you expected given the time Embry sent the text.
Once you arrive back at your living room, your boyfriend scent is mixing with the smell of coffee you left at the kitchen. You don't think much of it, coffee is strong enough to linger through the apartment.
Until you see a culprit holding your mug and drinking your coffee. He grins up at your from the couch.
“Looks good on you.” He points at your outfit, sipping on the cup.
You had chose the first comfortable piece of clothing you could find, which end up being one of his sweaters that hang loosely around your frame and some gray joggers to match — those are yours, at least.
“Is that...is that mine?”
Seth gave you a confused face, then lowered his attention to the mug and then back to you. His eyebrows raising in sudden alarm.
“I thought you had it before and you left it for me...”
“You don't even like coffee, Clearwater.”
“Well, I thought—”
Shaking your head in disbelief was what made him shup up because he knew he had hit a nerve. If he thought you were normally grumpy before... now you'd just straight up murder someone — him. He wouldn't blame you, to be honest. It was true, he didn't even like coffee, just a cup made him hyped up the entire day. And your coffee was strong, that was like three times worse for him.
He couldn't stop saying sorry and you were rolling your eyes every time. You weren't angry, you were annoyed. That's all. What made the situation worse was that when you got to the supposedly pack meeting, Embry's text had been a joke. There was no new threat in Forks. No need for you to be up and about that early.
“I just wanted some company and you idiots were the only ones who actually believed me.”
Yes, you would murder someone today.
“Why are you children yelling?”
Seth felt Leah's presence before she made herself known. He didn't even need to look up to see his sister's legs hanging from the tree branch.
“Y/N is beating the daylights out of Embry because he woke him up early.”
A whoosh of wind beside him told Seth that Leah had jumped down. Her lips displaying a satisfied smirk.
“Oh. I'd say whatever it was Embry probably deserved.” Leah kicked the back of his knee which made him stumble back, glaring at her. “What's up with your leg?” He was moving it non-stop as if he was being electrified. “Why are you so hyped?” Now that she looked closely, her brother couldn't stay still. Even his fingers were twitching for some reason.
Before Seth could answer, a tree fell on top of another. They watched Embry shift back to his human form and groan loudly on the grass. Oh, that meant so much more than a few broken ribs.
Leah laughed, “Go, Y/N!” said wolf turned to her and huffed, paddling away further down the woods. “Oof, he's mad. What did you do?”
Seth gave her a bored look, “Why do you always think I'm to blame?”
“That's because you usually are.”
He sighed in a resigned manner, shoulders slumping. He was messing with the strings of his hoodie, rolling it around his fingers distractedly.
“Well, I— I kind of... drank? His coffee.” Leah blinked, eyes widening slowly as she connected the dots in her brain.
“Oh, my g— you basically fed the beast?”
“Okay, I didn't know—”
“Seth, you don't even like coffee,” Leah deadpanned.
Just as Seth was about to retaliate, he froze at your voice from behind him, shoulders tensing.
“That's what I said.” You tilted your head, your arms crossing over your bare chest as you stared daggers into Seth's profile. You loved that jawline, it was the perfect spot to kiss, but did he annoy you today.
Except that you couldn't stay mad at him for long, you just liked to add fuel to the fire.
“I'll make you two whole pots next time, sunshine,” you said, pulling your — his — sweater above your head, letting it sink into your frame.
Seth takes a careful step towards you and that is Leah's cue to leave, she chooses to bother Embry for the time being, he's still thrown on the grass.
“I'm sorry. I know how you value your coffee in the morning—” he's cut off by a soft peck on his lips, causing a gasp to leave his throat in surprise. “You're not... mad?” Moments like these — when Seth makes that puppy-eyed face, cogs in his head turning on new ways to make up to you, lips pursing into a pout — are what keeps making you fall for him even more.
“I love you, you idiot.” You kiss him again because you can. His body is slowly melting into your arms, you can feel the tension leaving him as your hands pull softly at his baby hairs on the back of his neck. “Just don't drink my coffee again. If you do, leave me some, don't be a monster.”
Seth nods, licking lips lips to kiss you again. “Okay, I promise. Sorry, I love you.” He repeats it while cupping your cheeks to bring you impossibly closer.
The thing is, he tasted like coffee. So, technically, you still had your morning coffee, right? It wasn't so bad, even if you had to deal with a hyped up Seth Clearwater for the entire day.

Sick {Paul Lahote}
Summary: You fell sick with a really bad cold, but how were you supposed to tell your werewolf boyfriend you didn’t want him to cuddle you?
Warnings: none, just a sad Paul.
Word Count: 1059
(P.S. please don’t judge too hard if this is terrible, I haven’t written in a while and I’m a little rusty…)
*do not steal or copyright any of my work pls and thank you*
Tumblr media
You woke up that morning feeling horrible. Your nose was so clogged you could barely breathe and you had the worst honking cough.
You laid in bed, curled into a ball watching your favorite Disney movie. You knew you should tell Paul, but you didn’t really want him at the moment. Don’t get it twisted, you loved Paul to death, I mean, he was your mate, but when you got sick like this, his body heat didn’t help.
You knew he would want to cuddle you, give you some scalp massages as he checked up on you every minute of the hour, but right now, you just wanted to be alone.
That is until you heard the front door opening.
“Y/N! Baby! Where are you?!” Paul shouted.
You knew he probably sensed you weren’t okay as he still had an hour before he usually got home from patrol. Probably talking Sam into letting him leave early.
“I’m upstairs!” You called out the best you could, your throat feeling raw from coughing.
You heard footsteps rush up the stairs and soon Paul’s tall figure stood in the doorway, scanning you over, a frown on his face.
“Baby…why didn’t you tell me you were sick?” He asked softly as he made his way over to the bed.
He sat on the edge of the bed as he leaned over kissing your forehead and cheek softly, checking if you had a fever.
“You’re burning up baby.” He spoke sadly, sitting up again to look at you.
You knew you weren’t a pretty sight as you hadn't gotten up at all that morning. Your hair probably a tangled mess, your nose probably red and chapped from how much you had to blow it and your face looking as pale as a ghost.
“I didn’t want to bother you..” You lied, as you spoke barely above a whisper. Your voice raspy as you knew you were probably gonna lose it soon.
“Baby, you wouldn’t be bothering me at all. I would rather be by your side taking care of you, than on patrol.” He says frowning at the idea of you being alone all morning like this.
You sigh as you rub your face sitting up, his hand coming down to softly push you back down.
“You’re not getting up baby. Whatever you need I’ll get for you. Now, have you eaten at all today?” He asked, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
You shook your head no as you leaned into his touch, his warmth radiating against your skin.
“Okay, I’ll be right back.” He says as he gets up and his figure disappears from the doorway.
You sigh as you curl back up into a ball, watching the movie again, guilt washing over you. You knew he would want to cuddle you, as his love language is definitely physical touch. Especially when it comes to taking care of you.
But you didn’t want his cuddles at the moment. Your skin was already burning underneath the thin blanket you chose, let alone having your own personal heater of a boyfriend coming to lay next to you.
You took a deep breath as you let that thought slip your mind for now, closing your eyes as your body needed sleep. That is until you struggled to breath again, groaning softly as you sat up, blowing your nose for the hundredth time that morning.
A few minutes later you heard Paul coming back into the room with a small tray. On it sat a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a glass of apple juice - your two favorite things to have when you were sick.
You smiled up at him as you sat up in bed, fluffing up the pillows behind your back to sit more comfortably.
Paul set the tray down carefully into your lap as you immediately dig into the soup, humming softly as the warmth from the soup soothed your throat.
“Thank you.” You whispered as you looked up at Paul.
“You’re welcome baby girl.” He says sitting down next to you as he leaned over to kiss the top of your head.
He looked over at the TV as he chuckled softly at the movie that was playing. “Should’ve known you were watching this.”
“It’s my favorite movie to watch when I’m sick.” You protested shooting daggers at him as he raised his hands up in defense.
“I know my love, I was just messing with you. Now finish up your soup and I’ll give you some well deserved cuddles, yeah?” He says leaning over kissing your cheek.
You nod as you put on a fake smile, sighing into the bite of soup you took. How are you supposed to tell your boyfriend that you don’t want him to cuddle you?
~ ~ ~
It’s been 10 minutes now since you finished your soup and your boyfriend immediately pulling you into him to cuddle.
Your head laid on his chest, as your arms wrapped around his torso like you usually would. Your legs tangled with one another.
You will admit that it was nice for the first few minutes, sighing contently as you closed your eyes. But now, it was starting to become unbearable. Your skin felt like it was on fire, as you began to squirm uncomfortably.
“Paul, can you please let me go? I can’t do this anymore, you’re making my skin burn up more than it already is.” You mumbled as you tried to get out of his grip.
He looked down at you, hurt. He let go of you as you moved away from him, panting softly to yourself as you enjoyed the cold air hitting your body.
You knew Paul was hurt, and you didn’t mean for it to come off so harshly, you just needed to get away from him.
Paul watched as you relaxed feeling terrible that he made you feel even more uncomfortable than you already were.
“I’ll be downstairs if you need anything..” He spoke barely above a whisper, as he leaned over, kissing the crown of your head softly, before getting up, exiting your room.
“Paul, don’t leave! I still want you with me.” You begged as you tried to reach out for him, but he continued to walk out your room, upset with himself that he made his girlfriend uncomfortable.

I hope you enjoyed and thank you for reading!🫶

ruderal pt. 1 | paul lahote x reader
hi everyone! this is my first ever twilight imagine (and the first fanfic i've written in like 5 years) and it's already looking like it will be somewhat of a series. would love to hear your feedback (good or bad) on this, or if you want a second part :)
Tumblr media
word count: 1.1k | based off a random writing prompt generator
you never know who you’ll run into at a funeral - or, in this case, the reception.
the church gymnasium was full of Forks residents, gathered to celebrate the life of Deborah Lewin. she worked as a teacher in the town for 30 years, long enough to teach the kin of some of her first classes of students. so, it wasn’t a surprise that the echoey cinderblock room was nearly full of people.
you were seated at a table towards the middle of the space, sharing it with some of your friends who you’d had class with back when you had Mrs. Lewin as a teacher. you gazed out upon the sea of figures dressed in black, taking a mental inventory of all of the familiar faces in the room, when you spotted a face you didn’t expect to see entering the door.
“oh my god” you winced, averting your gaze and lowering your head immediately before you had the chance to be spotted.
“what?” your friend Ruby said, slightly panicked at your sudden, albeit quiet, outburst.
“Paul’s here.” you deadpanned, planning your escape as you spoke.
“Paul Lahote?” you hadn’t seen him in years, since he broke up with you over the phone for seemingly no reason on a random wednesday night.
“what other Paul could it be?” it came out harsher than you intended, but right now, you couldn’t seem to care that much.
of course, you looked up at the exact wrong time - Paul was looking at you from across the room. he stood in the food line next to Jacob Black, holding a ladle full of potato salad in one hand and a paper plate in the other.
before you could even really recognize that he was, in fact, staring at you, the two of you made direct eye contact. in the split second before you instinctually looked away, you could have sworn you saw Paul’s face twitch into the same shocked expression that you wore on your face as you watched him walk in the room just a few minutes ago. however, there seemed to be something more behind his eyes, too; you couldn’t tell if it was fear, or pain, or sorrow, but there was something else there.
“do you want to leave?” Ruby’s words snapped you out of your small trance.
“no, i’m not here for me. i’m here for Mrs. Lewin. Paul’s not important enough for me to need to leave.” your words were unconvincing, even to yourself. you’d never truly moved on, never forgiven Paul for what he had done. he couldn’t even explain why - he just kept repeating that it was “for your own good” and “you’d be better off without him.” it stung that he would be willing to throw away nearly a year of time spent together, and to not even dignify you with doing it in person?
“i think i’m going to step outside for a second. it’s really hot in here and this sweater is not helping.” you tugged at the collar of your thick turtleneck. it was normally one of your favorites, but the mixture of anxiety and embarrassment bringing your body temperature up was enough for you to want to rip it off of your body as soon as humanly possible.
Ruby nodded, eyeing you suspiciously but recognizing that asking any questions right now would be entirely unproductive. the redhead turned back to your other friends, starting to tell the story of when Tyler Jackson broke her arm under the slide in kindergarten.
the cold, damp air brought you back to a somewhat normal headspace as you stepped outside. it was times like these, standing under an awning, watching the rain fall on the trees and the parked cars in front of you, that you wished you smoked cigarettes. you bet that it would help calm your nerves even more; to distract you from the feelings that had been stirred up tonight.
but, you had none, so you opted to take deep breaths in and out instead. your eyes closed and you slid down the wall, planting yourself cross-legged on the concrete. after a few minutes of meditative breathing and counting the raindrops that dripped onto the shrubbery in front of you, you heard the old church door creak open.
“y/n?” a small, deep voice asked. you still had not looked up from the shrubs, but you knew that voice anywhere. this time, though, it sounded different. weaker.
“what do you want, Paul?” your tone was laced with annoyance. despite whatever feelings you had remaining for him, he was probably the last person you wanted to talk to right now.
“can i sit with you?” he asked, taking a small step forward. he waited for your gentle nod before awkwardly parking himself next to you, but not too close. you were grateful for the space that remained, already regretting your split-second decision to allow him to join you.
“now will you tell me what you want? why you’re even bothering to speak to me?”
“i miss you.” he sighed. you could see him rubbing his temples with his impressively large hand, eyes covered and a slight wince on his face as he waited for your reaction.
“you miss me? you fucking miss me? go to hell, Paul. you’re the one who ended things - over the fucking phone, might i add - not me. you have no right to come over here and act like you even deserve to be sitting next to me right now, let alone telling me you miss me.” you were on your feet now, trying and failing to keep your voice down as you watched Paul seem to recoil at your tone. you were still confused why he was acting like this; usually, nothing could crack his tough exterior, but here he was with his knees to his chest pushing himself against the church wall, not even making eye contact with you.
“now, if you’ll excuse me, i’m going back inside. this day is not about you, or me.”
“y/n, wait-“ Paul’s voice was cut off by the closing of the heavy church door.
you sighed as you walked back to your table, joining your friends once again.
“hey y/n, feeling better?” your friend Jordan asked. you smiled a smile that didn’t quite reach your eyes, nodding a little too fast. he didn’t seem to notice - they must not have seen Paul follow you outside. for that, you were grateful, in no mood to discuss whatever just happened.

Part Seven
Being away from Paul was harder than you anticipated. You found yourself much more agitated than usual, snapping at your parents when they asked you questions, and finding it hard to sit still. You did your best to hide this, not wanting to give your parents any more reasons to be suspicious. Still, they took your new attitude to heart, and one night at dinner, they decided to approach you about it.
“Sweetheart, we’re just worried about you. You’ve been… different the past few weeks.” Your mother began, gently placing her fork down on her plate.
“Oh have I? I haven’t noticed.” You grumbled, pushing your mashed potatoes into a pile before flattening them down again.
Your father sighed, shaking his head. “Y/N, please don’t be difficult. You’ve been so hostile and closed off recently. We just want to know what’s going on in your life. How are your friends?”
“They’re fine. I only see them during lunch, so I don’t really know what’s going on with them.” You answered curtly, not having the will to give them additional information.
Your parents shared a look, before returning their gaze to you.
“Is this about that boy?” Your mother questioned, picking her fork up and shoveling peas onto it. “I can’t imagine another reason for this behavior.”
You laughed a little, which surprised them. “You really can’t? Mom- you grounded me and took my phone away during the last few months of my senior year. All I do is go to school, then sit alone at home until you guys get off of work. I can’t even talk to anyone to pass the time, so I just sit and reread everything on my bookshelf. Of course I’m going to be annoyed all the time. It has nothing to do with Paul.”
“You understand we’re just trying to keep you safe, right?” Your father asked, his voice soft for such a bold statement.
“Yes. You’re keeping me safe from the dangers that Bella made up.”
Your mother sighed, her voice heavier than your fathers. “Charlie said Bella had expressed the same concerns to him, Y/N. Why would she lie to her father, the chief of police, about these people being dangerous?”
“Because she was hurt! Her and her friend Jacob got into a fight, so she was worried it was because he had fallen into a bad crowd. She realized she was wrong, and she apologizes to me every time I see her. Yes she told Charlie what she thought, but she still spends everyday on the Reservation with them! Charlie’s best friend is Jacob’s father, who is more than knowledgeable about that everyone is up to. They both know that no one’s in a gang or doing drugs.” You argued, frustration sweeping over you.
Both of your parents seemed unsure of what to say, so the conversation fell away. You finished eating and headed up to your room once you had cleared the table and washed the dishes.
You had finished your homework during the day, and it was too early to go to bed. You felt restless- like an animal with their arm caught in a trap.
You’d barely been able to talk to Paul, except the few times during lunch you would borrow someone’s phone to call him. He started recognizing the numbers, and usually picked up during the first ring. You knew he should have been sleeping, since nights were spent patrolling, but you couldn’t find it in yourself to care much about disturbing him, since you knew that both of you were struggling being apart.
The hold that the imprint bond had on you wasn’t something you were prepared for. Aside from feeling bummed about not seeing Paul, you didn’t think much else would happen. Yet, after the first week of being grounded, you started having problems falling asleep. You’d lay awake at night and wonder where he was, what he was doing. It was like he had consumed every thought you had- everything led back to him. You knew in your heart that he must be in even worse shape than you were, and with his head clouded by thoughts of you, worry over his safety became unbearable. He was out hunting vampires- how could he do that while spending all of his time thinking about you?
After a while of being lost in your own thoughts, you heard a knock at your bedroom door. You grabbed the book that was on your nightstand in attempts to look busy, and called them to come in. Both of your parents appeared in the doorway, small smiles on their faces.
“Hi honey. Can we come in? We wanted to talk with you.” Your father spoke, entering your small room anyway.
You crossed your legs to give them room to sit on your bed, and they both did. They looked at each other coyly, before handing you your cellphone without a word.
“Woah- wait. What’s going on?” You asked, clutching the phone in your hands.
“We… talked to Charlie a little bit ago, and he corroborated everything you said. He apologized for Bella’s behavior and any inconveniences she may have caused, and said that the boys on the reservation were probably better influences than the boys in Forks. We’ve decided to unground you.” Your mother answered, reaching out to grab your arm gently.
Your father cleared his throat, his stern eyes looking at you over his glasses. “There are some more rules, however. We would like to meet this Paul fellow as soon as possible. We trust you as an adult to make your own choices, but we are still your parents. You seem to care quite a bit about him, and I’d imagine you’ll want to have him around here, too. If you’re hanging out at our house, you need to stay in the living room. He needs to leave by 9 during the week, and 11 on the weekends. Additionally, if you are going to out, your curfew is still 10 on school nights. However, seeing as you are leaving for college soon, we’ll extend your weekend curfew until midnight. You need to keep your phone on you at all times, and respond when we call, alright?”
You squealed a bit and lunged forward, taking both your parents in a huge hug. “Thank you, thank you, thank you! You have no idea how much this means to me.”
They hugged you back lovingly, your mother whispering to you. “We love you.”
“I love you guys too.”
~~~
The next day at lunch, you sat down at the table, and pulled your phone out of your pocket, holding it up triumphantly.
“No way! You got your phone back? Does that mean you’ll stop using my minutes?” Jessica asked, her eyes wide with excitement.
“Yes! Aaaaand, it means I’m officially no longer grounded.” You yelled, smiling widely.
Everyone cheered, Mike especially since he had been so keen on breaking you out of your house.
Bella sat down in the middle of the commotion, and eyed everyone weirdly. You filled her in on the news, and a wave of relief visibly coursed through her.
“Oh good. Paul will stop moping around when he finds out you’re ungrounded. Have you talked to him yet?” She asked, picking up her sandwich and taking a bite.
You shook your head, “Actually, I was thinking of surprising him. I need your help.”
Bella readily agreed, seemingly wanting to do whatever she could to make up for the chaos she inevitably caused. You didn’t mind that she felt she needed to make it up to you, even if you weren’t upset anymore.
You finalized the details for the next day with her and Jacob, before your lunch period ended.
Jacob was going to get the pack to First Beach the next afternoon, where you and Bella would show up and surprise them. You could imagine the look on Paul’s face when he saw you, and the thought of that alone made you giddy.
You glided through school, all thoughts consumed by the boy with the leather jacket and kind heart who was waiting desperately to have you back in his arms.
~~~
Bella pulled into the first parking spot she found, and you were practically bouncing in your seat. As soon as the engine was off, you were out of the truck and moving toward the beach. She laughed at your excitement, smiling at the way you couldn’t seem to help yourself.
When you actually got onto the sand, there wasn’t anyone else around besides the pack. They were lounging around by the water, laughing and joking with each other loudly.
You would recognize Paul anywhere, just by seeing him from behind. He was half heartedly kicking a soccer ball around with Jared and Seth- his slumped shoulders evident even from across the beach. He looked tired, much more than anyone else did. His movements were slow, like he was on autopilot instead of actually meaning them.
The familiar tug in your chest pulled at your heart, beckoning you to get closer. You couldn’t help yourself, essentially moving at full speed to run to him, leaving Bella behind.
The sand on the beach was damp with fresh rain, so it made it easier for you to move quickly. Jared noticed you first, and he called out to Paul, telling him to turn around. He did, just seconds before you had made your way over to him. He didn’t even have time to react to seeing you before you jumped into his arms. He picked you up at once, and swung you around, pulling you tightly against his body. The two of you laughed, happy to be back in one another’s arms.
“It’s you. Jesus it’s actually you.” Paul murmured, once he placed your feet back underneath you.
“It’s me.” You breathed, inhaling his scent as deeply as you could.
Paul rested his chin on the top of your head, and the two of you stayed entwined. You felt the stress of the last few weeks melt away at his touch, and high at the feeling of being with him once more.
Paul pulled away to look at you, smiling widely. “How are you here? Did Bella break you out of prison for the day?”
“I’m actually free. My parents talked to Charlie, and he told them that you guys aren’t gang members or drug addicts. Plus they were getting annoyed with my constant moping around the house.” You responded, resting your hands against Paul’s large chest.
At this, he pulled you against him again, and whispered to you. “I’ve missed you so much.”
“I’ve missed you too.” You responded, “More than I think I should have.”
He released you with a kiss on the forehead, and you felt your face warm up at the gesture. He took your hand and intertwined your fingers together, tugging you over to sit down on one of the many beach blankets they had laying around.
Leah gave you a soft smile, “Glad you’re here, Y/N. Paul’s been absolutely insufferable without you.”
Bella had finally made her way over to the pack, and she sat next to Jacob, their sides touching. “Yeah, Y/N wasn’t much better.”
You shrugged in response, letting your shoulder rest against Paul’s. “What can I say? I’ve grown fond of this idiot.”
Everyone laughed lightly, shaking their heads at the way you and Paul seemed to glow together. The pack filled you in on the last few weeks apart, and you and Bella gave them updates on your life.
“Oh by the way, are you coming to Tyler’s party next weekend?” You asked Bella, tilting your head.
She shook her head in response. “I didn’t know Tyler was having a party. I wasn’t invited.”
You rolled your eyes. “It’s a party, Bella. You don’t need an invitation, there’s not going to be a bouncer.”
She laughed lightly, smiling at you. “Oh, I guess you’re right. Parties aren’t really my thing, though. Not a fan of the whole teenage drinking culture.”
“Totally understand. Tyler’s parties usually get out of hand, anyway. The amount of times it ends with us running from the cops is bad. Probably better to stay away.” You answered honestly.
“Yeah, Mike had filled me in. He’d been really stressed about you not being to go, for some reason.” She responded, but then immediately looked like she regretted it.
Paul stiffened at this, and you could tell that he was imminently jealous of Mike, and his desire to be near you. You knew Paul didn’t have anything to worry about, but you also kind of enjoyed the way he was becoming protective of you.
“Yeah, Mike and I are kind of a package party deal.” You shrugged, tossing the hair off of your shoulder. “Jessica and Eric are much more… tame when it comes to parties. So Mike and I have to work together to do as much stupid shit as possible before they stop us.”
“That is wildly concerning.” Bella replied, furrowing her eyebrows. “What do you even do at parties? The ones in movies always seem so dramatic and fictitious.”
You groaned in excitement, sitting up. “Uhm, Bella. They are exactly like the movies, and completely not. If you’re drunk enough, it feels empowering and exciting- like the lights are there for you, and you’re the only one that matters. If you’re not drunk enough, it’s a bunch of sweaty teenagers dry humping each other in someone’s living room. It’s awkward and weird and fantastic. You should really come to Mallory’s graduation party. Big of a bitch as she is, she knows how to throw a damn good party. Last summer, her jungle juice was so strong, I ended up…”
Jacob and Sam had both sent you slight glares, and you cleared your throat uncomfortably.
“Maybe that’s a story for another time.” You spoke, your face heating up.
Emily laughed a little, shaking her head. “Didn’t realize you were such a socialite.”
You blushed at her words, feeling perhaps that the pack was carrying much more important things than high school drama and shitty house parties. “Sometimes.”
“Should you really be using your new found freedom to go to a party like that?” Paul asked, looking down on you with concern.
“It’s not my friends that my parents were worried about.” You shrugged, dismissing his words. “Plus, I only have so long before I’m heading off to the other end of the country. How likely am I to see everyone together like that?”
Paul hummed, frowning a bit. “Right, college.”
“Have you made your official decision yet?” Emily asked, her curiosity seeping through her tone. “I know you have one in mind as your top school.”
You shifted a bit, suddenly feeling anxious about your future for the first time in a while. “No… I haven’t made anything official yet. I’ve declined a few schools, but that’s about it. I’ve applied to a couple more in Washington, too.”
“Washington? I thought you just said you were heading to the East Coast?” Kim questioned, glancing between you and Paul.
“That was the plan, but things change, you know? Better to be prepared and have plans than for your life to come to a grinding halt.” You answered, brushing nonexistent sand off of your pants.
Paul tensed slightly, and when you looked at him questioningly, he smiled and kissed the top of your head. You melted into his touch, the euphoria of being around him almost overwhelming.
The afternoon sun was waning, and Emily suggested that the group should pack their things and head back. Paul pulled you aside, smiling coyly.
“Would you wanna come over? We can ditch everyone else and watch a movie at my place.” He suggested, brushing your hair behind your ear.
“Your parents won’t mind?”
He shook his head, his eyes darting from your lips to your eyes. “No one else is home.”
Your eyes widened at that, and you agreed quickly. Paul seemed visibly excited, and he announced that you two were heading off on your own, and he’d drop you home later that night. You said your goodbyes to the group, as he dragged you off the beach and towards the street.
You could barely keep up with Paul’s long strides, your short legs failing you. You laughed at his relentless pace, but didn’t say anything about it. His house was only a short walk away, and as soon as you had shut the door, the silence was heavy between you.
“Er, we can watch a movie down here if you’d like. Or I have a tv in my bedroom, as well.” He offered, gauging your reaction.
“Your bedroom would be great.” You answered, letting him lead you to the back of the one story home.
When you entered his room, you could see how absolutely fitting it was for him. The walls were mostly bare, and there wasn’t much furniture aside from his bed, a night stand, and the dresser that held the tv. You immediately took off your shoes and coat, dropping yourself onto the plush covers of his King sized bed.
Paul laughed at your movements, and turned the tv on. A movie was already loaded into the VHS player, and he rewound it, unconcerned about whatever title it was. When he reached the beginning, he pressed play, and joined you on the bed.
You noticed how he kept a bit of distance between you two, and you felt your chest heat up at the notion. It was obvious your comfort came first to him, regardless of what intentions he may have had for the evening.
You sat in silence as Pulp Fiction continued on, both of you unsure of what to do with yourselves. You weren’t completely certain if it was the feeling of being by his side again, or some deeper connection, but you couldn’t stop imaging his hands running down your body. Your thoughts were plagued with dirty images of what could happen while you were alone, and the realization that you could make them come true dawned on you.
Carefully, you turned over onto your stomach, moving closer to Paul so you were nestled into his side, with your faces only inches apart. He cocked an eyebrow at your movements, but you just smiled slightly at him instead. You glanced at his plush lips, and the sudden urge to have them against yours took over.
Like lightening striking, you kissed him deeply, pushing yourself upwards a bit to be closer to him. Paul didn’t question you, his hands instead sliding up to rest on your hips, squeezing them gently. Since you hadn’t kissed since his near phasing, you had forgotten how absolutely addicting he was. You wanted to drink him in, become absolutely intoxicated on nothing but his taste.
Your hands came to rest in his hair, and you pulled on the short locks gently, causing him to moan into your mouth. The sound stirred something inside you, and you yanked harder this time.
Paul groaned, and his hands grabbed your body, moving you so you were entirely pressed on top of him. You slid your legs open, so you could straddle his waist comfortably. He pulled away from your lips, bringing his mouth down your neck, and biting slightly.
“Fuck, Paul,” you moaned, tilting your head to give him better access.
He took the opportunity to bite down harder, before his warm tongue darted out to soothe the red skin. He trailed kisses down lower, finding your sweet spot just above your collarbone.
The room was unbearably warm, and you pushed him back so he was laying down fully again. You reached for the hem of your shirt, and tugged the garment off, tossing it behind you. His eyes widened at the look of your bare chest, your boobs spilling over the cups slightly. He sat himself up then, scooting you both back so he could lean against the headboard. His hands trailed to your back, unhooking your bra swiftly.
Paul’s eyes trailed over your bare form, and he licked his lips as a toothy grin broke out on his face. “You’re going to the the death of me.”

poly paul and seth
they’re all riled up at emily’s house so disappear to the bathroom for a quickie but it’s quite intense so reader falls into the subspace and the boys dont notice until they’ve left the bathroom
"you all good pretty girl?" seth asked as he helped you off the counter of emily's bathroom, sliding his hands over your hips as he waited for you to respond.
you hummed and nodded, smiling up at seth before your gaze drifted over to your other imprinter who was stepping over to open the bathroom door so the three of you could head back out to the living room with the rest of the pack.
"you got it," paul reassured, a teasing smile tugging at his lips as he refrained his laughter over how flustered you looked after getting fucked senseless by the two boys just a few minutes prior.
you beamed at the praise, allowing seth to guide you out of the bathroom and into the living room where the rest of the pack was in fits of laughter over the wrestling match currently happening on the floor between embry and quil.
seth was quick to guide you out of the line of destruction the two boys were creating, helping you over to one of the open couches so the three of you could sit down and chill out for a little bit. as you sat down on the couch, seth went to go grab you a blanket but you were almost immediately tightening your hand on his and looking up at him pleadingly, anxious he wasn't going to come back.
seth paused when he saw the way you were looking at him and your other imprinter seemed to pick up on it as well, both boys turning their attention to you. "hey pretty girl," seth cooed, coming to sit back down next to you on the couch, cupping your face with his free hand.
you let out a soft sigh at the touch, immediately leaning into his hand, "you feelin' okay?" he asked softly, both boys watching as you thought about it for half a second before humming and nodding.
seth let out a sigh, looking over at paul who groaned when they realized you had definitely managed to slip into the subspace while they were fucking you not even 5 minutes prior, "you didn't do anything with her today, right?" seth asked, gently rubbing his thumb against your jaw as he waited for paul to respond.
paul shook his head, "not since last night," he reassured before turning his attention back to you, "princess do you wanna lay with me for a little bit?" he asked, voice softening as he spoke to you. both boys watched you wearily, not exactly sure how to bring you back with all the ruckus currently happening around you.
as if on queue, quil slammed into the couch you were sitting on, nearly knocking it backwards from how hard embry must've thrown him a few moments prior. you barely noticed seeing as paul had pulled you into his lap before you could get too rattled from the jolt.
"what the fuck is wrong with you two?" paul asked, glaring at quil who was now laying on the floor and letting out a loud groan as he gathered his bearings. quil only briefly apologized before he was getting back up and throwing himself on top of jacob who currently had embry in a rather strong looking headlock.
"y/n can you come into the kitchen for a minute? i need some help," emily called, drawing your's, paul's, and seth's attention to the doorway of the kitchen where emily was smiling at you.
you hummed and nodded, moving to get up but paul's grip remained firm on your waist, "you should stay here for a minute princess," paul suggested, leaning down to press his lips to your forehead. his voice managed to remain awfully calm despite how freaked out both him and seth were by the prospect of having to manage you in the subspace with everyone else around.
"i got it!" you reassured, smiling up at paul and pressing a playful kiss to his lips before you were squirming out of his grasp and skipping into the kitchen to meet emily.
"hey princess," emily teased when she saw you come into the kitchen, paul and seth following closely behind you as you got yourself up on the counter to sit.
seth's hands were on your hips in a moment, helping you get situated on the counter while paul went to go get you some water from the fridge, "everything okay?" emily asked softly, turning her attention to seth when she also realized just how blown out your pupils were from the subspace and how your hair was pulled into a rather messy ponytail - definitely not how you had originally looked when you first arrived at emily's a few hours earlier.
seth sighed and paul rolled his eyes with a groan as he handed you a water bottle, helping you hold it while you took a few sips, "is she..." emily started, voice trailing off as she looked from you to both boys, already knowing all too well how easily you could be pushed into the subspace seeing as this regularly happened with her as well.
seth sucked in a breath before nodding, his gaze softening as he looked over to emily, "it was an accident," he explained, "you wouldn't happen to have any ideas on how to help would you?" he asked, both him and emily letting out breathy laughs at seth's question.
before either boy could get too flustered over the situation, emily was nodding, "i've got some tea that she can have," she reassured, "why don't you sit at the table with her and i'll go make some?" she suggested, smiling when both boys let out relieved exhales.
"you're the best," seth smiled, pulling her into a tight hug which had emily laughing before he was releasing her so him and paul could help you over to the kitchen table and work on bringing you back.

seth clearwater x reader
summary: you and seth attend edward and bella’s wedding that takes place in the evening (unlike in the movies where it's noon or something)
i barely ever write anymore, i’m so sorry you had to wait this long for this 😔
i clumsily entered the living room and as i did, two pairs of eyes measured me up and down before my parents jumped up and hugged me.
“you look stunning sweetheart” my mom said, tucking strands of my hair behind my ear. “i knew this shade of purple would look incredible on you”
“thanks, mom”
“i thought you weren’t supposed to show up looking prettier than the bride” my dad joked.
i rolled my eyes and hugged him, just as the doorbell rang. i followed behind my parents, nervously fidgeting with my dress. as soon as they opened the door, they stepped aside, revealing my boyfriend.
my handsome boy.
he was holding two bouqutes of flowers, one of which he handed to my mom, who accepted it happily.
as his gaze met mine, his eyes widened and the world stood still, like it did the first time we ever saw each other.
“you are so beautiful”
my parents made us pose for a picture and they watched us in awe as we headed towards the car.
seth wrapped his arm around my waist and i gently let my head fall onto his shoulder.
“whose car is this?”
“billy lend me jacob’s since he’s… you know”
he started the engine and drove slowly, since it was still quite early.
“i still can’t believe edward and bella are getting married! i mean, everyone knows how in love they are, but still, this is huge! and they’re both just 18” i blurted out.
“it is kind of mind blowing"
seth placed his right hand on my thigh and my heart skipped a beat.
“is this alright?”
“yes” i answered and gave him a huge smile, which he must’ve seen, even though his eyes were glued to the road, because a shy smile quickly grew on his face.
"do you think they’re too young though?" seth asked, after taking a few moments to compose himself. "bella and edward, i mean”
“they are, they’re just about to graduate. on the other hand, they love each other and love drives us all crazy” i giggled.
“do i make you crazy?” seth asked jokingly.
“soo insane, but i bet it’s nothing compared to the other way around”
“i’m crazy about you” seth looked at me for a slight moment and my heart jumped again.
“i’m crazy about you too, seth, you have no idea”
after a little while, he pulled into the cullens’ driveway and reached for my hand as he opened the door for me.
i placed my palm in his and kissed him briefly. his face lit up and he kept me close, his arm around my waist.
we were warmly welcomed by esme, who led us to the garden.
fairy lights hung from the trees, resembling fireflies. a few rows of wooden seats were placed before the altar that stood covered in white, dainty flowers, much like the rest of the place. some of their petals had fallen on the ground, giving the scene a fairytale-like air.
seth placed his warm hand on my lower back and kissed my cheek.
“are you alright, sweetheart?”
“it’s beautiful” i stated, still in awe of the remarcable scenery.
“so beautiful” he whispered.
i turned to him, but he was already looking at me.
we sat down and people started showing up.
finally, bella walked down the aisle, holding tightly onto her father’s arm. edward stood patiently, looking at her as if it was only the two of them, nothing else mattered. tears streamed down my face, overwhelmed by the beauty of it all.
they vowed and kissed and it hit me - there’s no such thing as ‘too early’ when it comes to love. it’s all about taking risks and putting your pride aside, because once you find the one person you know was made for you, you must hold tightly onto them.
“i love you so much” i whispered to seth.
“i love you too, beautiful” he gently placed his right hand on my hair and kissed my forehead.
his left hand stayed on my thigh, while the other fell onto my shoulder.
once the party started, seth and i were separted by the crowd, when bella pulled me aside.
“congratulations, sweet girl, you did it!”
i embraced her into a hug, and when i tried pulling away, she held me a bit tighter and whispered "not yet, i just need a moment"
"wow, you're a mess!" i laughed, referring to her makeup, which was mostly gone, due to her crying multiple times. "but you're a pretty mess and i don't blame you; God knows how many times i cried during the ceremony and it's not even my wedding!"
"it's so not safe for me to cry here, alice yells at me and emmett makes fun of me"
“where’s he taking you for the honeymoon?” i asked, excitedly.
“i really don’t know, he won’t tell me” bella laughed.
suddenly, i felt a hand on my waist and felt seth’s lips on my shoulder.
“well, hello to you too” i laughed and pecked his lips.
bella giggled awkwardly and looked around for her groom, who was at her side in an instant.
“you better slow it down, seth, these people seem too tired to handle another wedding tonight” edward joked and we all burst out laughing, but seth’s hands remained glued to my hips.
after a few moments, they both laughed as if one of them had cracked some joke bella and i couldn't hear, so she and i simply exchanged a suspicious look.
the newly wed couple was quickly stolen away from us by the other guests, and seth and i found ourselves wandering towards the quiet forest.
we got to a dimly lit opening; “a thousand years” could still be heard from the speakers.
“how can i love when i’m afraid to fall?”
seth tenderly let his hands fall onto my hips and looked me in my eyes and the same feeling came right back into my chest.
“all of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow”
i let my head rest somewhere between his chest and his shoulder, while we slow danced.
"i have died everyday waiting for you/ darling don't be afraid, i have loved you for a thousand years"
seth and i hummed along and mumbled the lyric "i'll love you for a thousand more"

BLURB EVENT TIME!! i am free from college, i officially have a bachelor of arts in scriptwriting and a minor in film studies!! so to celebrate having all the time in the world on my hands, why not do a blurb event??

regarding that, if you send a number that has been sent in that i haven't done yet (meaning it's been requested but i haven't posted it when you send yours) i will either choose the other prompt you selected or ask that you send another, if you only sent one.
there are 50 prompts, so please be diverse in selecting them. if you see one number has been sent in a lot, for a few different characters, please choose differently.
when it gets to the point where i am not able to think of much for the number and it has been requested for at least 3 characters, i will cross it out from the list.
requests will remain open until i say so!

Hello, my names Paige and welcome to my account!
I’ve been writing for years now and stopped when I started college. I’ve really missed writing tho and that was my get away from any stress and to let myself slip into a little fantasy world of making up my own characters/story.
I’m making this post though to say I’m a multi-fan account.
I’ve written for Harry Styles in the past, along with the Dolan Twins, Cole Sprouse, Sam and Colby and Luke Patterson/Charles Gillespie. Right now I’m obsessed with Twilight again (i swear, every year I get on a twilight high for about a month before I forget about it again😅) and would love to write about the pack. I’m willing to write about edward too, but if I’m being honest, I love the pack way more😅
If you’re wanting me to write anything/have any requests, don’t be afraid to leave a little something in my inbox.
I hope you enjoy this page or any of my writings in the future.
Love you all!
~ Paige🫶

warnings: swearing, angst, sexually suggestive content
the reflection of light on the side of your house as you pulled into your driveway was a familiar sight. you sighed, quickly realizing you had a headlight out based on the lack of light on the left side of the wall. you made a mental note to talk to your dad about it tomorrow, not in the mood for much conversation after the events of the day. at this point, the only thing on your mind was throwing yourself on your bed and burying your head under the covers.
“hey” you called loudly to your dad as you entered the front door.
“hey, y/n” he replied, eyes glued on the football game in front of him. “how was it?”
“it was fine” you lied with a slight sigh. as much as your dad respected your former schoolteacher, he wasn’t one for socializing with the townsfolk, opting instead to stay home from the visitation. “i’m gonna head up to bed i think.”
“alright, sleep tight” he replied absentmindedly, eyes still on the tv. something good must have happened, you guessed, based on the cheers emanating from the speakers. you didn’t know much about sports.
without reply, you ascended the stairs and headed into your room. you opened the middle drawer of your dresser with intention, sighing as your eyes fell upon a black shirt in the back corner. it was an old, faded Nirvana t-shirt you had “borrowed” from Paul back when you were still together. despite not having worn it in two years, a part of you couldn’t let it go, leaving it at the back of the drawer every time you purged your clothing. your fingers brushed the thin material, tracing the slight difference in texture between the woven fibers and the printed graphic. with a deep exhale you gripped the folded shirt and pulled it out of the drawer.
glancing quickly over your shoulder to make sure your blinds were shut, you awkwardly pulled off your turtleneck, the head hole getting stuck under your chin as that style of top normally does. your bra and pants quickly met the same fate as the sweater - tossed onto a chair in the corner of the room where laundry goes to die.
you sighed again as you pulled Paul’s oversized shirt over your head. why were you sighing so much today? why were you giving Paul the power to make you so moody? why was he still so important to you? why did putting on this shirt bring back all of the memories you tried so hard to repress?
you sat quickly on the edge of your bed as the flashbacks overwhelmed you. flashbacks of smiles, of long nights talking and laughing on the phone, of ice-cream dates, of walks on La Push beach, of heated fights and your remorseful, affectionate reconciliation.
before you knew it, your knees were to your chest and your head was in your hands as you sobbed quietly, your body shaking. it was a symptom you had picked up after the break up - tears were always accompanied by trembling.
as much as you hated to admit it, seeing and speaking to Paul today really fucked you up. but, what else could you expect when you knew deep down you’d never truly moved on? of course seeing him again would make you spiral.
you pondered the harsh words you’d spoken to (well, more like yelled at) him this afternoon. your mind was split - half of your brain told you that he deserved it, that he left you without warning and scarred you forever. he made you feel like you weren’t good enough for him. but, the other half felt intense guilt for being so rude to him today when it seemed like he had just wanted to make amends. that part of your brain, the one that missed him instead of hating him, worried that you may have just lost your only chance to learn the real reason behind that Wednesday night phone call.
tears continued to flow from your eyes as you toyed with the hem of the baggy shirt. it seemed like you couldn’t stop replaying the events of the afternoon in your head. this appeased both sides of your brain in different ways but both made you miserable in their own right. there was one detail that stuck out, though - the look on Paul’s face as he made eye contact with you for the first time in two years. on the surface, it just looked like shock. it looked like he was surprised to see you there when he hadn’t laid eyes on you for so long. but past the facial expression, the intensity of his eyes as they met yours was honestly unlike anything you’d ever seen from anyone. it looked like a storm was brewing behind them, full of pain and sorrow and conflict. was it just because he had missed you? or was something more going on?
your curiosity and desire for answers overpowered your sadness, causing the tears to slow and eventually cease as you attempted to analyze the situation. your eyes were glued intently on the blank wall in front of you; if anyone walked in right now they would think you were either possessed or taking the expression, “watching paint dry” a little too seriously.
the sound of a cupboard slamming downstairs snapped you out of your trance - your dad must have gotten hungry. this welcome distraction was enough for you to remember you needed to finish getting ready to sleep. rubbing your eyes, you threw your legs off the bed, feet hitting the soft rug underneath you. you grabbed the first pair of pajama shorts you could find in your dresser, stepped into them, and headed into the bathroom to brush your teeth and wash your face. you couldn’t manage to put in the effort to do much more than that tonight.
when you were done in the bathroom, you dragged your feet back down the hallway, shutting your bedroom door behind you and turning off the lights as you continued to move towards your unmade bed. in one swift motion, guided by the moonlight streaming in between your blinds, you collapsed in bed and rolled over so the blankets were on top of you. before you knew it, you were drifting off to sleep, feeling a sense of calm for the first time since the funeral. this was short lived, however, as your dreams that night were filled with memories of Paul Lahote.
——
you woke late the next morning, your blinds dispersing the sun’s rays into a soft glow around your room. for a split second, you felt peace, before your brain caught up and Paul’s face flashed through your mind. you groaned, wishing for that second of peace back.
you went through the motions of the morning: get up, shower, get dressed, brush your teeth - all with that man’s stupid expression playing over and over again whenever you weren’t actively trying to think of something else.
since it was a rare (relatively) warm, sunny day in Forks, and a Sunday at that, you knew exactly what you needed: a beach day. of course, you knew just the spot. sure, you had memories with Paul at La Push beach, but you’d been going there for years, and he never managed to ruin it for you. your dad was friends with Billy Black, so you were friends with some of the other boys on the rez growing up. even after your breakup, none of them were ever hostile towards you - you just kind of drifted apart - so you still felt comfortable enjoying La Push’s beautiful scenery.
you hopped back in your car after a quick bowl of cereal alone in the kitchen, reminding yourself to be back before dark so you wouldn’t risk getting pulled over for your burnt-out headlight. the engine sputtered to life and you made your way out of your driveway and onto the road. the radio hummed faintly in the background, but you were kind of enjoying the quiet as you weaved your way through meandering tree-lined streets up to the beach. you parked on the side of the road, surprised that there were no other cars parked there today with it being so beautiful outside. it definitely wasn’t warm enough to swim, or even wear shorts, but you didn’t have to wear a sweater, so that was a win in your books.
your backpack was slung over your shoulder as you hiked over the guardrail to the flat beach. a couple of minutes of walking brought you to your favorite spot; the cliff. while the rest of the beach was sloped dunes, the cliff was a rocky structure that would make anyone nervous if they got too close to the edge. however, the flat sand leading up to it made a great relaxation spot as long as you stayed back from the drop-off.
you laid out your beach towel as a barrier between you and the sand along a tree that you could rest your back against. it was perfect for your planned activity: reading all day.
you pulled out your beat-up copy of The Great Gatsby, flipping to where you’d dog-eared the corner of the page you left off on. it wasn’t your first time reading the book, and you were sure it wouldn’t be the last.
finally settled in, you allowed yourself to get lost in the drama unfolding on the pages in front of you. this continued for an amount of time unknown to you - minutes or hours, you didn’t really know - until you saw something moving in your peripheral vision.
you eyed the moving figure cautiously, instinctively pressing your back further against the tree. as the person continued to walk closer to you, their features were more distinguishable, and your heart raced for multiple reasons once you finally realized who it was - Paul Lahote, of course. it had to be him.
you slammed your book closed, not taking your eye off Paul as he approached you.
“y/n, can we talk?” Paul spoke loudly, still a good distance away from you. most of you wanted to keep it that way.
“about what, Paul? i have nothing to say to you.” a lie, but he didn’t need to know that.
“can you at least give me a chance?” he huffed, moving a little closer to where you were seated.
“a chance to do what? hurt me again? not interested.” you hoped he would take your words and the absolute death glare you were giving him seriously and back off. but, it was Paul, and he was stubborn, so, of course, this was not the case.
“what are you reading?” he switched the subject, obviously trying to relieve some of the tension between you two. unluckily for him, you still weren’t interested in conversation, so you just tilted the cover of the book in Paul’s direction. he scanned the cover and nodded, “of course, your favorite.”
“you remember my favorite book?” you spoke before you had time to think.
“of course i do. i remember a lot of things about you.” he asserted, taking a seat next to you but still a few feet away. a large part of you wanted that space to be bigger, but there was another, smaller part of you that wanted to scoot closer to him. of course, you resisted this urge, staying planted in the position you were when he approached.
“Paul, i really don’t want to talk. i think you should go.” you sighed. you placed the book down next to your hip and leaned fully against the tree behind you, closing your eyes as your head rested on the bark.
“i’m not going anywhere. this is my land, not yours” he protested angrily. it reminded you of the fights you two used to have. Paul was very stubborn and was quick to snap. he’d never hurt you physically, but you two were definitely a match for each other verbally.
“fine, then i'll go” you stood up sharply, shoving your book into your backpack and tossing the towel over your shoulder as you began to move past Paul on the way back to your car.
“y/n, wait,” you felt a strong hand grip your forearm. “don’t leave, i- i’m sorry. that was too harsh.”
Paul was… apologizing? without prompting? this was definitely uncharacteristic behavior for the Paul you knew. had he matured over the last two years?
“yeah, it was.” you agreed, stopping in your tracks.
“please just sit back down.” his voice was soft - another abnormality for him. you were used to his pride stepping in, but there was no hint of it in his speech in that moment.
against your better judgement, you obliged. to make matters worse, you ended up right next to him, as he was still holding on to your arm. the irony of the situation was not lost on you - two years ago, you'd likely sat in the exact same position, but under completely different circumstances.
“alright, i sat. you can let me go now.” your words came out softer than you meant for them to. it was hard to use harsh words with Paul after he had been so soft.
he dropped your arm, looking somewhat flustered. you ignored it as you brought your knees to your chest and wrapped your arms around them, staring out at the glistening water ahead.
it took a few minutes before either of you broke the silence, but Paul eventually did.
“i know you hate me for dumping you. i would hate me too. but there’s a lot you don’t know about,” he blurted. “i never wanted to hurt you.”
“well, you did, Paul. you left me with no explanation. was i not good enough for you? what do i not know? did you meet someone else?” as much as you didn’t want to be spilling your insecurities to your ex boyfriend right now, your need for answers overwhelmed this instinct.
“what? do you really think that i left you because you weren’t good enough? don’t you think i would have figured that out sooner than a year in?” he spat, visibly angry at the accusation. “and no, there was no one else. i haven’t been in a relationship since you.”
you were disappointed that the answers didn’t help. while it was nice to hear that it wasn’t because he lost interest in you, it still didn’t provide any clarity on the actual reason. his use of the words “in a relationship” instead of “with anyone” made you shiver as you thought about all of the girls he’s probably hooked up with in the last two years. you decided it was in your best interest to not ask him to elaborate on this point, both because his face was already red with anger and because you were disgusted at the thought.
“then why? what happened? why did you leave?” you felt tears start to well up in the corners of your eyes, this conversation feeling eerily familiar.
“i can’t tell you.” Paul deadpanned, looking pained as he spoke, like he didn’t want the words to come out of his mouth.
“bullshit, Paul! why would you come talk to me and act like you want to make things right if you can’t even explain why you ruined them in the first place?” your vision was blurry with both tears and anger as you waited for a response.
“i just… can’t take being away from you anymore,” Paul replied, looking you in the eyes with probably the softest expression you’d ever seen on his face. it didn’t outweigh the anger and hurt you felt, though.
“yeah, well, you should have thought of that two years ago. i’m not doing this with you if you won’t even answer my questions. you may not want to stay away from me, but i don’t want to be around you.” you stood up, once again collecting your belongings. you managed to dodge Paul’s attempt to grab your hand and slip past him, digging in your backpack for your car keys as you trudged through the sand.
“y/n, wait,” Paul called after you, scrambling to his feet. he followed you to your car, continuing to call your name, but didn’t make another attempt to grab you, which you were grateful for.
“Paul, like i said, i’m not doing this with you.” you repeated. the majority of you wanted to slam your car door closed, drive off, and pray you never had to see him again. but the small part of you that, for some reason, he still had a grasp on, made you look over your shoulder just before getting in the driver’s seat and give him an invitation: “call me if you decide to tell me the real reason.”

Headcanon 11
I think that after the pack realized how common imprinting was, they would all be waiting for their imprints. Like, it would go from a question of “If” to “when”. I think this would prompt all of those not imprinted before the end of Breaking Dawn not to date anyone seriously unless they were their imprint.
I could see friends with benefits relationships being okay, but I think a lot of the guys would feel guilty about dating a girl knowing that one day their feelings would change at the drop of a hat. I think this is an especially poignant thing for them considering that they’ve seen Leah’s experiences from a first-hand perspective.
