a non-comprehnsive timeline for Sylvia's world
children
Lilly & Olive
they became friends
had an argument which resulted in them hating each other.
Lilly changes schools as a result.
they don't see each other again until high schol
Sylvia & Trevor
met at the orphanage, were the kids who were "different" and bonded over it
Sylvia got moverd to a different orphanage/group home/fostered.
they lost contact
Trevor got adopted (maybe Sylvia used to sneak away from the foster parents to meet Trevor but then he got adopted and she couldn't anymore?)
high school
1st years: Olive, Trevor
2nd years: Astro, Lilly, Sylvia
Lilly befriends Sylvia
Lilly falls HARD for her. She doesn't wanna confess though cause she's p sure Sylvia doesn't feel the same (she's right) (if she tried Sylvia would try to play clueless as long as possible in hopes she'd give up and also Eugh) (maybe Lilly tried to ask if Sylvia's into girls but then Sylvia was like why would you want a relationship with someone and Lilly doesn't push it)
after like a month Sylvia gets assigned to a project with Astro
Astro & Olive meet and become acquainted
Sylvia sees Astro sleeping after class one day while the project is still going on and decides to befriend him or smth
Olive & Astro meetups continue
Lilly meets Astro and Does Not Like Him At All. (jealousy + he reminds her of Olive + ~he has bad vibes~)
Olive takes Trevor under her wing. He doesn't have a choice. (she wants to help him be confident or w/e) (might happen earlier in the timeline)
Trevor manages to talk to Sylvia. They become close again quickly
Astro event™ happens (up for change)
Astro clings to Sylvia. he clings So Hard. She's the only thing keeping him alive tbh.
Sylvia can tell and this is Stressful. She cares about him and wants the best for him but still. She starts talking to Trevor about it.
Lilly can tell something is happening and she Doesn't Like This At All.
from here on it's more vague
something happens between Trevor & Astro? but thing is I want them all to be friends after this so gheuiaygiur oof
cause the things I see happening between Trevor are-
...actually. what if Trevor was the one who started things, not Astro. then it could Work! Hm. I need to think about this…
anyways, misc events/ideas:
Sylvia's orphanage/group home facing a money crisis and Lilly helps.
Trevor trying to matchmake Sylvia & Lilly because he sees Lilly is interested and thinks this will work out. It doesn't.
Astro getting makeup advice from Lilly. she does not like his style but ugh he will have the makeup done PROPERLY!
and tbh that's p much everything I have on their timeline rn hgrueihgurt. I love them <3

...a swirly ballerina skirt; a frothy, lacy, sheer Gibson girl blouse; a pair of silver dancing slippers; three adorable lipsticks in a little gold case; black velvet hair ribbons; a box of candy, and $3.50 in cool cash! Not bad!

A refsheet for my koldun 💚 She’s a witchtok influencer and the corrupt CEO of an essential oils mlm. Was actually being groomed for a Ventrue embrace, but a crotchety old dragon got there first.. and then she managed to alienate him as well by joining the anarchs and becoming best friends with one of those evil fleshcrafting fiends. Whoops.

Herbert Zipper was an internationally renowned composer, conductor, and arts activist who was imprisoned at Dachau in the 1930s. During that time, he had had crude musical instruments constructed out of stolen material and formed a secret orchestra that performed on Sunday afternoons for the other inmates.
Released in 1939, he accepted an invitation to conduct the Manila Symphony Orchestra but was jailed for four months by the Japanese during their occupation of the Philippines. After his release, he worked secretly for the Allies, transmitting shipping information by radio. In 1946 he emigrated to the United States, where he conducted the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra and promoted music education. In this photo, taken on March 10, 1949, he was conductor of the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra, and he makes some observations on an opera to violinist Sylvia Medford.
