There’s this stupid thought I keep having and it will not leave my head so I’m just gonna spiral over here; Jack has been begging for a build a bear for months so Aaron and Emily finally take him on a weekend off, and once they go to the store Emily is like what the hell is this place and she just keeps looking around so wondrously and when she sees the tiny little outfits she’s like oh my god this is the cutest thing ever. While they’re helping Jack with the whole process she keeps smiling this tiny little smile and looking around, and Aaron notices so when they’re done with Jack’s he leans in close and tells her to pick one. She immediately turns red and her eyes widen like, excuse you I don’t need a stuffed animal, I’m a grown woman in my 30s, and Aaron’s like reallyyyy and she’s like yep mhm let’s get out of here, Jack already got his stuffed animal but she looks around again as they’re leaving (where was all of this when she was a child?) and Aaron’s like yep you’re getting one and he takes her hand and drags her to the animals.

She reluctantly chooses a brown bear but when she sees a tiny little suit outfit she doesn’t even pretend not to want it😭 so she starts building a mini bear Aaron that she can cuddle with when he’s gone on cases (she’s switched to counterterrorism) and she chooses to make a sound for it and gives the little recorder to Aaron and mumbles say something and he’s grinning and she’s blushing—her face is so red by this point—and she puts the little voice thing in the bear’s chest after he says something like sleep tight or I miss you and I’m coming home soon. She picks out a heart too and when they give it to her she lets Jack give it a tiny kiss so she can have both of her Hotchner boys close to her <3

Jack is so excited at the thought of both of them having stuffed animals and he starts trying to convince Aaron to get one😭 but Aaron is firmly like no I’m sorry and Jack’s like >:(( whatever at least me and Emily have matching cool plushies.

And then Emily picks out a suit outfit and tiny little shoes and names it something ridiculous like “Bear” because her brain is boiling atp from the heat of her blush, but Aaron is on the lookout for any weird looks she might get and whenever he finds someone with even a slightly confused stare he gives them that unsub glare and they turn away lmfaooo. She’s so red by the time they pay for it and give her the certificate, but you know what, her inner child is healed, so she actually doesn’t give a shit. However, she gets too embarrassed to carry the bag so Aaron carries it for her <3

Future baby hotchniss may or may not love to cuddle with it too🥺

i sound like a broken record but good god im SO in love with the character dynamics in the show. all of it master how to portray love so so so well. percy and sally being unconditional love. the love where you would do anything to see the other person thrive, even if you won’t be there to see. percy, grover, and annabeth showing that type of love where you stick with each other through thick and thin, no one gets left behind. and all of them encapsulated show familial love. the love that we chose and give and flourish in.

the kids dont need the gods or anything like that, they have each and whats already there. and thats enough.

I know this doesn't fit the fandoms interpretation, but I am glad that Gideon is so skinny on the cover and not as buff as most fanartists draw her.

Don't get me wrong, i love buff Gideon fanarts. I love every Gideon fanart. But I am so happy to see her skinny and slender on the cover. She is from a home were food was scarce and bland and a nessecity in order to survive nothing she ever enjoyed (hence she was full and enjoyed eating thd first time at the dinner of the Fifth) you don't build huge muscles from a nutrition like that.

But even more so I love how accurate her body type is for fencing. I do fencing myself, I wield a longsword (I am still not sure if Gideon uses a great sword or a longsword, it never gets quite clear for me, but in my head she uses a longsword, since a great sword is not really used for dueling one on one and rather for creating space on a battlefield with many people, but both are wielded with two hands. However a longsword has a lot more similar techniques like the rapier does, just with two instead of one hand. Just as Gideon struggles: "you wield your rapier like someone who's used to a two handed sword" i specifically tried that in a recent training session, and it does work to wield a rapier like a longsword) and my body looks just like hers. I have muscles but they aren't "bulky buff" they are dense and small and made for agility, just like Gideon on the cover art.

Fencing is nothing you do with pure strength. Too big muscles get in the way of yourself. You need to be light on your feet. Quick and explosive. And I feel so seen by the way the cover portrays her.

In conclusion: BUFF GIDEON IS AWESOME. but so is skinny athletic Gideon <3

I think the interaction between Kaiser and Isagi at the end of chapter 203 is very important and foreshadows how Isagi and Kaiser's (and Ness') relationships will change soon. Especially since Kaiser had to admit that Isagi outplayed him at the end of the BM v MSC game, and Ness' following freakout. Look at this panel of Kaiser holding ness by his hair, essentially making him bow down:

We've seen Kaiser do this on multiple occasions.

When Isagi loses consciousness, there is this (in my opinion) very significant panel of Kaiser simultaneously releasing Ness and grabbing Isagi's hair in the same exact way.

I see it as a sort of crude metaphor for exchange that makes believe think Kaiser will try to replace Ness with Isagi, who has now proven more interesting to Kaiser. Not just to entertain himself or act on any other sort of personal feelings he has towards Isagi, but, most importantly, to put him in his place (the same way Kaiser has Ness under his thumb).

This is idea is further established simply by how the last panel is framed:

Isagi, no matter the circumstance and how you put it, is on his knees in front of Kaiser.

Remember this?

He finally really has. While it happened probably not how Kaiser had envisioned, he still has Isagi kneeling in front of him, proving his superiority as the player who endured.

But Kaiser did have to admit his (small, but nevertheless) defeat, and knowing how prideful he is, that must have been a blow. That makes be believe that he will be working very hard to somehow get Isagi on his side and crush him into submission the same way he has with Ness.
