Haigaz Mangoian

Photos taken by Armenian Cypriot photographer, Haigaz Mangoian (1907-1970), throughout the early half of the 20th century.

Mangoian is one of the most celebrated photographers in Cyprus. The Mangoian family left Adana and came to Cyprus in 1920, landing in Larnaca. Haigaz, along with his brother Levon, established the Mangoian Bros. Ltd. in 1924, which is the longest running photography equipment supplier in Cyprus. Haigaz and Levon specialized in portraits and outside work, often used for postcards.
