Here’s an Outline for my Sonic Boom AU!

This’ll hopefully just make things more accessible

First Part

Quick rundown on what this AU is real quick: so basically this is set 2 years in the future after the end of season 2, Shadow eventually becomes a part of team Sonic, and Rouge and Blaze exist in this universe. it also might be important to mention there’s not really an overarching plot, just shenanigans

There are a few important events though, but I have more detailed explanations of those in the parts themselves

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention this is basically a sonadow fic? oops. so yeah if that’s not your cup of tea here’s your warning. also very much slow burn, pining, mutual pining, the works (honorable mention background blazamy)

The remnants here aren’t brainwashed..but did any of them take Junko’s body parts out of curiosity?

Some of them did, for example yasuhiro took one of her eyes and sewed it on his headband. It's supposed to give a "the all seeing eye" or "the eye of wisdom" feeling whenever he does a fortune reading.

Aoi also kept a strand of junkos hair that she put in her hair (imagine it similarly to hair extensions).

Hifumi took bits of her blood to use in a painting that depicts her.

Aside from that no other remnant took anything from her body since most of them weren't close by or unable to see her.

For the 5+ headcanons: otp messing around in IKEA AU

Aaack I live by an IKEA and it's literally my favorite thing you have no idea... Like honestly one of these days I'm just gonna drop out of school and live in IKEA.

Also, I've decided to do this with a handful of yoi-related ships mainly because it was open-ended and I couldn't decide.

Yuuri and Victor are adorable IKEA shoppers. They're walking around holding hands, picking out new comforters together, and just designing their dream space together. It's cute.

Yurio gets distracted by a really cool display, looses Otabek, and finds him by all the wall art almost an hour later. "Have you seen my boyfriend?" he asked almost every IKEA worker he saw. "He's about this tall, leather jacket, looks really really hot today."

Chris and Phichit go for fun. They take really chill aesthetic selfies in front of all the cool stuff they find. Chris lays extravagantly on all of the beds. Phichit buys a hanging lamp covered in paper daisies because why not???

Leo and Guang go to kill some time one day and end up chilling in one of the model homes listening to Leo's music and talking about life.

Mila brings Sara with her when she needs furniture for her new apartment and quickly finds out that Sara has the quirkiest taste in interior design. She's putting together all these bright patterns and colors and Mila just adores it... by the end of the trip she's spent way too much money on throw pillows and lamps but she's also asked Sara to move in with her so that's a plus.

I think that's five and I'm running out of pairs but seriously this was so much fun thanks so much for sending it in!!

Pure Vanilla is not happy about the situation to put it briefly, being often visibly nervous or lost in thought, but still keeping silent and not showing his feelings openly.

He's not budging and thus acts more apathetic towards SM, not wanting him to get satisfaction or a sense of victory.

In truth, he's terrified of shadow milk and incredibly lonely, sometimes getting overwelmed by paranoia and anxiety, but can't think of anything else to do except keep appearences.

He allows himself to be vulnerable only when he's not being watched.

Is Shadow still of somewhat... extraterrestrial origin in your Boom AU? A hybrid of a sort, at the very least? Or normal in the way of species?

That’s a good question! I decided that since the events on the Ark didn’t happen in this universe it wouldn’t make much sense to make him an alien hybrid of any sort. So he’s just a regular ol hedgehog… with a lot of baggage… and powers.

The powers will be explained much later in the comic (but I can’t explain rn bc spoilers unfortunately) and their abilities are mostly the same. They’ve got Chaos spears, Chaos control, Chaos blast, and enhanced healing abilities.

A majority of his speed comes from his jet boots but he’s still pretty fast without them (just like in canon). I don’t remember if I explained this before but he’s also mortal in this universe since nothing would grant him immortality

Soo yeah! just a different take on Shadow for this universe :P
