I can't remember if you are the house person but boy if you haven't seen the cave house in glenwood yet you need to. 217 ROSE BUD IRON MTN when I was a raftguide we'd say it was Bruce Wayne's house. It's for sale and they have photos and a virtual tour

Okay, I was waiting to answer this because I was hoping they'd get the website up, but if they have I can't find it.

Anyways. FUCK YES I LOVE THIS HOUSE! I forget when I first heard about it, but it has always delighted me.

My favorite line in the listing is: "A portion of the cave has been used as a personal dwelling by the owners for the past 4 decades, however sellers make no claims regarding the habitability of the Cave of the Chimes."

That view!

Look at this nonsense. I love it so much. I imagine taking the dog out to pee in the middle of the night might get difficult, though. And I hope you don't have to walk down the stairs on the left there as the only access...bringing home groceries would be an ADVENTURE if so.

You want a bigger fridge? Too bad. Also love that they still have an over-the-sink window that just opens on. Rock.

I have questions about this bedroom/pooltable room combo we've got going on here.

What lives behind the TV? Who knows!

Side thought: I wonder how the hell they have running water in this house.

Okay so. This bedroom is just. Open to the kitchen? So that's a thing. Do appreciate the giant jar of chocolate chips, though.

Then through that doorway at the back there, you're just. In "unfinished" cave:

And the bathroom in the pooltable bedroom is just. Open to the whole bedroom. Lotta interesting divisions of space going on here.

Also. This is the only bathroom I have seen so far. I did not see one in the first half of the house.

Now, back to where we made the turn to go to the pooltable room. If you DON'T turn and just go straight, you access the rest of the cave:

And it does have some very pretty formations in it, but...is that tin slide thing involved in the plumbing? I feel like it is involved in the plumbing. Which is. Concerning.

You can go real deep into the cave too. And, note, there's no doors or anything between the house and the rest of the cave.

CAVE HOUSE.

Fun concept. I would live in a cave house. But this one needs work.

Summary: Welcome to the Wangxian H2O au no one asked for! Join us in the adventures of our newly formed mermen as they figure out their new powers. A mix between cql and mdzs Inspired by this edit i made at 3 in the morning of Wangxian in the cold pond scene. Kay's comments: I am so weak for this series. I loved H2O so much growing up, in was one of my favourite TV series and to see Wangxian re-imagined in an H2O is just such a joy. The cold pond really fits the whole aesthetic too and ah, Merxian! Merji! I love them so much and it's just such a joyful canon divergence. Excerpt: Fully transformed he dumps down on the floor beside the other merman. They look at each other again. “Urgh, I forgot that I can’t touch water.” Wei Wuxian moans in irritation and slaps his tail on the floorboard a few times. Lan Wangji is in a trance again, taking in the sight of the other also sporting a tail. “Wei Ying knew?” Wei Wuxian sits up with the support of his hands. “Yeah, I found out this morning. I think it’s from the cave yesterday. The tails disappear when we dry.” “Wangji?” A new voice calls from the other room. “Brother came to check on me when I did not meet for morning tea. He has been in the library pavilion looking for answers.” Lan Wangji explains, before his older brother comes over. “You have to answer or else I’ll worr- oh.” Lan Xichen stops in the doorway when he discovers that there’s one more merman present than when he left. Wei Wuxian smiles up at the first jade of Lan and salutes. “Hello, Lan Xichen. Do you mind helping us out?”

#torkoal #this pokémon's T-pose has their head pointed straight down at the ground. so they're just faceplanted for some reason #so i took this picture with them face-down on the floor which is fun. secret lore about the framing of this photo #this guy is… what‚ the mayor of treasure town? i find it a little bit weird that he holds such a position of power and yet we hardly see any #of him throughout the game. the only place i can distinctly remember him showing up was in the hot spring after waterfall cave #which was a bit of a less-than-memorable segment. to me. it would've been nice to have the chance to hang around and chat with the pokémon #that were there instead of just being kicked out after the cutscene was over. but maybe i'm misremembering and we actually did get that #chance to do so. it's been a while i really need to do a replay of all the pmd games just to refresh my memory of some of the finer details

OK so I was thinking about an everybody lives AU for the Hobbit where Bilbo stays with the dwarves in Erebor but then Bilbo would never adopt Frodo so

HC that dwarven winters are too cold for hobbits, so every winter Bilbo migrates back to the shire- Thorin's too busy to travel back with him so he has to wait till spring to see him again
