It’s been months since he’s settled into life at Wayne Manor. It’s hilarious that they don’t think he knows about their obvious nightlife (and that’s coming from someone whose hero name was just their last name spelled differently) but they don’t know anything about his own past as a vigilante. To be fair, a dimensionally displaced Ghost King wasn’t really on the board for reasonable guesses. Danny Fenton blinked innocently at Duke, blue eyes watery and oh-so-trusting of his adopted older brother when Duke claimed that his bruising came from getting caught in Ivy’s attack on the busses today.

(“Oh my god he’s so trusting and pure what the hell?” He heard Steph whisper to Dick, who nodded emphatically.)

“Oh man, you should get some rest. You guys are seriously unlucky, you know? Do you need to go to the hospital?” Danny asked Duke, his core trilling as he allowed himself to fuss over a member of his ‘fraid.

“Nah, man. I’m good. I think I’ll take a nap and sleep it off.”

“Okay. Oh, here!” Danny fumbled for his bag, grabbing his prescribed pain meds- for his chronic pain, but they don’t actually do anything for him since his ectoplasm burns away most of it- and handed it to Duke. “Take one, and only one. Those bruises look nasty.”

And then Danny gave him the puppy dog eyes and Duke folded, because Danny knew that he wasn’t supposed to hand his meds out but these situations were kind of the reason he claimed chronic pain to being with (even if it was true and his hands shook with aftershocks).

“Thanks, Danny. I feel like death warmed over.”

Danny laughed, the opportunity to mess with the family sparking in his head. “Yeah, I’ve died before. Wouldn’t recommend it.”

With that, Danny threw Duke an easy going smile and walked towards his room, bag on his back.

From his peripherals, Danny watched Jason drop his bowl of snacks, Dick’s pale face, and the concerned and shocked look of everyone else. Except Damian, who just kind of scowled thoughtfully. Tim looked like he was going to rip Danny apart like an interesting puzzle, Cass sat up straight (and he made sure every micro expression he caught on others stayed unconcerned on his own body), and Duke froze.

He snickered- well out of regular earshot- as whispers and whispered shouts rung out after he left the room.

He can’t wait to drop the “I know you’re vigilantes” bomb on them. It’ll be hilarious.

"You wanna kiss me so bad." A grin spread across Bart's lips as he was yanked by the collar of his suit. He had gotten Kon's full attention. And though Kon grit his teeth, he knew that Bart was not wrong in the least. No matter what the speedster did to annoy him, Bart had him wrapped around his little finger.

I just couldn't get the thought out of my head of how BartKon this meme was, so I just had to go back and draw it one more time.

If you ever needed an extra reason to hate rebirth era DC writing for Damian, let's go back to memory lane.

Patrick Gleason (The writer for robin: son of batman) wanted to make a young justice team with Damian, Maya, Jon and Kathy but it never happened because DC hated Whimsey and fun

(+ for the uninitiated, Kathy/Beacon was a girl that lived near the kent farm that jon was friends with, uncovered to be a psychic alien that was taken from her home, and maya is a high tech daughter of an assassin that adopted damian as her brother in robin: son of batman.)

Also, he almost wrote the teen titans comics, Which would've probably saved us A LOT of racism from the unfortunately released teen titans comics, as well as a good finale to talias redemption arc that began in robin: son of batman (That should've never happened, her being a horrible person was an early 2000s retcon to hate on an arab character but that's a story for another day.)

And last but not least, A planned robin: son of batman act 3 which would've included some of his pets. thank you DC, we really love you ruining good characters for no reason.

Who do you think are the most OP members of the FlashFam? I think it's difficult, the majority of them has almost the same powers.

Wally, Bart and Barry.

I think we forget sometimes that the vast majority of the crazy feats of godlike powers we see from speedsters are coming from these three. Wally, Bart and Barry have insane connections to the speedforce and their skill level is unmatched. What these three can do is by no means normal or average. They are op as fuck.

You have to remember that even... let's say Max Mercury is nowhere even remotely near their skill level. And we're talking about Max Mercury. The guy who knows more about the speedforce than anyone else and trained for years to master it. But Max (although he was faster than Bart when Bart was a child) isn't on the same playing field as Wally, Bart and Barry. Max couldn't enter the speedforce without Bart's assistance, Max couldn't leave the speedforce without Barry and Wally's assistance, Max can't time travel to a destination of his own choice, Max can't speed steal or fully pause time, ect ect. Max is one of the most skilled, most knowledgeable, most trained and most respected speedsters of all time. Max is the cream of the crop. You won't find another speedster better than Max. He's a shining example of what's humanely possible for speedsters to achieve.

But Wally, Bart and Barry aren't humanely possible. Those three are insane.

Do you guys remember how fast Wally used to be? When he was younger and struggling with his speed and stuff? THAT'S THE GODDAMN AVERAGE. Wally AT HIS SLOWEST was still faster than every single goddamn speedster he came across, including Jay, Johnny, Jesse, the Blue Trinity, the Red Trinity, ect. HE JUST WASN'T FASTER THAN BARRY OR EOBARD SO HE THOUGHT HE WAS THE WORST. Because Wally is fucking insane. He's an insane human being. Anyway, Wally at his slowest is the typical representation of an average speedster. That's how they typically are.

One time he was called was for a bomb and when he got there trying to calm everyone down Jon who was strapped to Clark’s back and facing the bomb picked it up and ate it

Bart and Kon are going to accidentally run into each other at Avery and Kenan's wedding because neither one has the situation awareness to make the connection that they'd both be invited to The Flash and Super-Man's wedding.

They'd then realized that Bart is on the bride's side and Kon is on the groom's side and they'd make it a competition.

It would end with both of them deciding that this makes them brother-in-laws. Despite, as Tim and Cassie will later point out and be completely ignored, the fact that neither are related to the bride and groom.
