"The old prophets and philosophers say nothing is greater than human, but on the other side nothing is more miserable than human, for the ego consciousness is only a little spark of light in an immense darkness." — C.G. Jung

The ego says, ‘I shouldn’t have to suffer,’ and that thought makes you suffer so much more. It is a distortion of the truth, which is always paradoxical. The truth is that you need to say yes to suffering before you can transcend it.

Ego is incapacitated
Today I will not tell you something new or mindblowing (probably) but definitely true & about personal experience on my own journey.
Are you tired? Are you angry? Is nothing making sense? Is nothing changing? Great, you just proved to yourself that nothing is changing because you have not yet changed your sense of Self. The things stated above all belong to your Ego, who constantly evaluates the world and its feelings or thoughts. Hard pill to swallow? Yes, and no. This is actual a good place to be since it is a catalyst, a turning point... if you are brave enough to admit it.
But what are 'you' doing wrong then? Well, you are simply identifying yourself with Ego still.
Actually, You (identified with Ego) are trying to realize your Self trough that Ego, which can't be done since a) you are already Awareness and in being there is no becoming because you are already everything and b) you are beyond the Ego / ego-mind (brain), which makes this attempt entirely fruiteless.
The reason it's not working is the thought that "I am (Ego)". You are Awareness, never have been something and you are above and beyond all those concepts or thoughts You attach to your Beingness "I am". In fact, you will see that everything is just imaginary and "real" is just the POV from that Ego, which you give reality to by identifying with it.
Why do You still care that she is tired, angry or confused? Why do You care about her world not changing? Why do You care about her at all? SHE IS NOT YOU!!

How I view Law of Assumption in the perspective of the story the Alchemist!
In the story the Alchemist, the main character santiago travels all around the world to find the treasure just to realise it was where he started the journey,The final twist, that the treasure lies under the sycamore tree in Spain the whole time, brings Santiago back home, just as his father predicted when Santiago first set out on his travels as a shepherd.
"At the end of the story, the boy is able to find the treasure he was running after. The treasure which he unearthed under the Sycamore tree in the abandoned church, from where the story begins"
What I mean by this is,
Yall search over and over to just to discover that one video ,guide, method, post or quote that would change ur life but in reality you don't have to do any of this the ultimate treasure is within YOU
You are God the treasure within you and yet you don't realise and still reading hundreds of blogs and guides!
Stahp! Relax
You are enough
You are worthy
You can do it
Thank u :)

"What will you do if you don't have friends, a relationship or a community when times get rough?"
The problem with this way of thinking is the amount of effort I have to pour into a black hole, for an undisclosed amount of time, out of fear. Not out of love or genuine connection. Today, almost every relationship is created out of fear or lack therefore it is a counterfeit connection. I have to invest hours per day/week talking to somebody about nothing so I have a HOPE that they will bail me out one day. I'd rather use that time to practice the art of remaining in a positive state of pure consciousness; commit to the Great Work of restructuring my mental patterns so I can create what I want at the moment I need it. To depend on somebody, who isn't even a real person but an amalgamation of identities that they think we share, is Soul-death. In other words, I don't plan on my life imploding nor will I use somebody else's life as an example of what could happen to me. If I must engage in useless pondering, I will always use constructive examples, not destructive ones. All I can do is remain in the present moment and take each minute at a time and I will always choose my happiness right now over a past trauma or future anxiety.

Every emotion and illusion is so beautiful.
When I identified with the ego, the fear seemed so overbearing. I was in fight or flight mode.
Now even if it appears… I tell myself
“Do nothing.”
I do nothing. I just be.
The illusion; regardless of how frustrating, how saddening, how nerve wrecking, starts to appear beautiful.
🤞🏻
no ego

Sometimes rock bottom is the exact place you need to be, so you can finally see.. it’s only up from here. You’ve been down for long enough and you still never gave up on your faith, never lost your hope, instead you surrendered with grace and gratitude. Your belief in the higher power that created you grew stronger through even your darkest days.
In that darkness you were blinded so you couldn’t see that you had to fall to the bottom alone, so you could listen to the parts of you that were needing to be transformed. So you could shed all the dead weight you were carrying that kept you anchored to the ground.
Look at your rock bottom as your season of preparation. You had to really learn yourself, and shamelessly accept, embrace and forgive every repressed part of you. You had to know who you truly are so you could show up as God/dess intended you to.
It’s only up from here. Your season of preparation is ending. It’s time for you to rise higher, walk with purpose into the spaces created with your name on them and show the world why God/dess sent you.

Quote
All that the conscious ego can do is to formulate wishes, which are then carried out by forces which it controls very little and understands not at all. When it does anything more — when it tries too hard, for example, when it worries, when it becomes apprehensive about the future — it lowers the effectiveness of those forces and may even cause the devitalized body to fall ill. In my present state, awareness was not referred to as ego; it was, so to speak, on its own.
Aldous Huxley, The Doors of Perception

The ego’s needs are endless. It feels vulnerable and threatened and so lives in a state of fear and want. Once you know how the basic dysfunction operates, there is no need to explore all its countless manifestations, no need to make it into a complex personal problem.
The ego, of course, loves that. It is always seeking for something to attach itself to in order to uphold and strengthen its illusory sense of self, and it will readily attach itself to your problems. This is why, for so many people, a large part of their sense of self is intimately connected with their problems.
Once this has happened, the last thing they want is to become free of them; that would mean loss of self. There can be a great deal of unconscious ego investment in pain and suffering.
Eckhart Tolle

a fever you can’t sweat out was an INSANE thing for a bunch of high school students to create and release… like genuinely baffling in its existence. I’ve never been to las vegas but I have to assume that has something to do with a bunch of teenage boys even knowing what the fuck cabaret is to this extent??? when I was in highschool (only about a 5 year difference) dudes were too busy making fart jokes and underage drinking in the woods to create a fucking baroque pop inspired electronic emo dance album set to become a cornerstone of the genre, like that’s FUCKING CRAZY they should have been playing tony hawk and slamming monster energies at the mall

How is saying the ego is your enemy toxic? What about every religion that believes in the importance of ego death?
Within particularly toxic forms of New Age and New Age-adjacent spirituality, people who have doubts or hesitations about what they're hearing are told that these thoughts and feelings are just their ego trying to resist. I'm sure you can see where this is a psychological manipulation tactic that could lead people into some very bad places.
The practical reality is, these people telling others to surrender their egos want to replace it with their ego, so other people become an extension of themselves. They usually call it "unity consciousness," but let's be real, it's the closest thing to getting assimilated into a hivemind as there is in real life.
The modern New Age movement often teaches people that if they feel uplifted and positive, then what they're experiencing is from spirit; but if they feel confused, doubtful, or fearful, then they are "in their ego." They claim that this is spiritual discernment, but in reality it's a thought-control technique; it keeps them focused on the anti-intellectual feel-good New Age stuff and makes them ignore ideas and thoughts that challenge them.
As for these other religions, I can't comment on them because I don't really have experience, but I can say that they'd need to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
