Mermaid Moon, Sun and Eclipse have a different visible light spectrum so they actually can see your lovely human stripes!!<3

You often would carefully trace their own patterns with your fingertips when any of them allowed you that close. And the sound of purring would always let you know that they don't mind.

But you never could really understand why their caress followed a specific pattern as well. It was interesting, as each of them always followed the same direction, their claws gently gliding over your skin when you weren't wearing your diving costume. You doubted they secretly agreed to mess with you in that way. Plus, their eyes followed some invisible path too... You could see their scleras dilate every time.

Whatever they saw, they found it beautiful.

me, with almost 600 hrs in BG3: ok time to look up how cantrips work mechanically

and I found an answer to my question

SHs fire bolt is shitey because it's a race-based cantrip and calculates damage from INT bc its a wizard spell, however, SH is a Cleric (WIS based) so.... its a shitey cantrip for her (aside from using it to melt ice or light candles or burn down wooden doors)

meanwhile if I use a feat on Gale to learn Eldritch Blast it will calculate damage from his class-based ability (INT), even if Eldritch Blast is a Warlock cantrip-

#bg3 tag #listen i sometimes think gale does less dmg with eldritch blast than nila (sorcerer) so i almost gaslit myself into believing #its a class thing but no #its just my bad luck #gale and astarion share one thing #that they either miss 80% chances or do 5 damage #or they suddenly get in the mood and oneshot the enemy with an 80 dmg crit hit
