How do you think the other god's reacted/would react to Ghost becoming the shade lord? (Or Ghost becoming a part of it, whichever you HC it is.)

Honestly I think by the time Ghost ascended, most of the gods remaining were either tired of the stasis, dying, or keeping as far away from the PK-Radi conflict as possible, so an end to that whole messy Light business was quite a relief. All were very wary/alarmed at such a powerful new god rising up, but compared to the chaos that both of the others wreaked, the Lord of Shades is somewhat manageable. They're also the first new god in a very long while to ascend, so it was kind of bound to happen at some point. Overall I would say wary, wanting to test the new one's limits, yet oddly relieved at the same time, as I can't see Ghost being very interested in conquering a good deal of Hallownest. They're more interested in keeping to the Abyss and whatever bits and bobs of Dirtmouth and the City have people in them

As for my hcs, its that Ghost is basically the Lord of Shades! The rest of the vessels all merged with them, and have some bare form of consciousness, but Ghost has the center focus and control. Think of it as Ghost being a streamer, and the rest of the vessels being in chat. They don't control everything, but they are yammering
