So you slowly lift it off of his face, willing to stop at any moment if he tells you to, until it reveals dead, blind eyes. And he waits for you to get up and leave, or even to mock him by asking if he really is blind without his visor. But he's startled when soft lips kiss upper cheekbone, right below his eye. And as you kiss around his brow, the bridge of his nose, even over his eyelids, his entire body relaxes, hands holding your wrists softening their grip even further until they're barely holding on. And when you help him put the visor back on, and he looks up at you behind the red lights, you can tell its a look of awe and adoration
