Addison feels utterly hopeless and guilty. She knows how much this means to Mark and doesn’t know how to help him through it. Hell, she can’t quench her worry.

Her cell phone rings from the center console. She picks it up and frowns when she sees Amelia’s name on the screen. Her former sister-in-law is on call tonight. What could she want?

Addison holds the phone to her ear. “Amelia?”

“Why isn’t Mark answering his phone?”

“He’s uh, he’s a little preoccupied.”

“Well, tell him to put his pants on and get his ass down here.”

Addison opens her mouth to lecture her on filtering, but for once, Amelia sounds panicked. Almost how she did when she was 16 and crashed Derek’s car (that she stole).

“What’s going on?” Addison asks instead.

The Winchesters Panel

I had the great opportunity to be a part of the panel and see the premiere pilot episode with a Q & A after. Here are a few things that were said:

The first thing they did was reassure the Supernatural fans who very much care about the lore of the show that it will be explained by the 13th episode of The Winchesters and how it will be connected to the original show.

They announced that Tom Welling (who made a special appearance) was going to be playing the role of Mary's father aka Sam & Dean's grandfather.

They said that Castiel (which when mentioned, Daneel held up a magazine picture of Misha in support), Loki (Gabriel), and other loved Supernatural characters will try to make their appearance in future episodes.

ALSO, Jensen told us that he's very open to hearing what fans would like to see and after a few shouted for Crowley, he said he definitely wants to try to make that happen.

For the show, it looks like there will be some focus on the Men of Letters based on the easter eggs in the pilot.

All-in-all it was a lot of fun and the show was not as bad as I thought compared to the trailer. I'm still a bit on the fence about seeing it, but I'll probably stock up on episodes until it gets to the 13th and then watch it.

But anyway...it was really awesome to see them all and have the chance to see the exclusive pilot premiere episode of The Winchesters!

From the moment I turned this series on back on September 13, 2005 I was hooked. It quickly became and remained my favorite show. Helping me escape reality many times when things got hard. It took me on adventures and tore my emotions apart but all in the best ways. It's a show I recommend all the time and can talk about often. It taught that family don't end in blood. It brought about a huge community. And it's just plain amazing.

What a spectacular day Yesterday at the Rhode Island Comic-con

My husband got to meet his crush from Supernatural, the gorgeous Emily Swallow and I got to meet mine, Mark Sheppard who actually took a few minutes to talk with us about tattoos and stuff. (Turns out he’s covered in ink. And he’s a drummer, so my crush grew exponentially) they were both wonderful!!

Not pictured, my son Ty got to meet Rachel Leigh Cook and we got to meet DJ Qualls, who may just be THE chillest, coolest, realest , happiest guy ever!

Seeing my son get recognized as the singer for Scarecrow Hill was awesome!!

Seeing how happy my husband was all day despite hobbling around with a torn mcl

The amount of work some people put into their costumes was pretty impressive! A very cool day of people watching! Even my anxiety seemed to have stayed home and I was able to actually really enjoy the whole experience! (Which may have been a first in that kind of crowd)

I had enough happy yesterday that there was some leftover today! That shit carried through!! HA! 😁♥️

Just finished Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaimen, and:

Seeing Death written in all his caps lock glory made me the same kind of excited you get when your favourite character cameo’s in another movie because essentially that’s exactly what it felt like when I realised the guy with the motorcycle helmet was Death. I feel like this is a sentence I can only say in the presence of anyone who has read Terry Pratchett work: but god I love Death (the character, for anyone who hadn’t got it and was unduly concerned). I’m assuming here Terry Pratchett did write the Death scenes and it is the same character, because I was imagining the blue eyes and the skeleton behind the helmet. He was such a good character embedded in the story of the motorbikes riding in the Armageddon in style (Also, whoever coined the name Hell’s Angels, I loved that, top notch humour).

Go read the Terry Pratchett Death books if I’m confusing you (Mort, and Reaper Man come to mind), because arghhhh such a good character.

That’s it, this wasn’t a proper review, or a thing I do with the quotes, it was just a rant about the book, and Death (again, the character), and how much I loved it.

Also PS- anyone else a combined Good Omens, Discworld, Supernatural fan? Or is it just me that has a skeleton, Mark Sheppard, David Tennant and Julian Richings fighting for mental screen time in their head?
