Hmm Octavia and Illian. Octilian? Illavia? Whatever it is, idk if I like it. I like that she has someone closer to her age that can help her move on, but can anyone really replace Lincoln? I'm conflicted.

This show doesn’t do the idea of sex as love. She isn’t “replacing” Lincoln. She’s having sex with Ilian because she wants to feel something.

Which is a helluva lot better than the last thing that gave her feels, aka: killing.

So why don’t we just take it as a positive step in healing and character development and not think this means they have to be endgame.

I’m sorta new to the 100 fandom, I’ve watched all 7 seasons, my sister watched the first 2 seasons with me a few years ago, and then just a few months ago, we watched through the sixth season together and I watched the final season alone. This show has a messed up perception of love and the fact that people are sitting around wondering about B/eco is so messed up. What human falls in love someone who directly causes the death of your gf and "kills" your sister and tries to kill her again in the conclave. It's so unrealistic that it makes me want to hurl. If the writers take it there i'm going to say bye bye to the show

I mean....but this show has always gone this way, like...just looking back over all of the canon ships (almost none of them have started in healthy way):

Linctavia: starts with a kidnapping

Kabby: Kane floated her husband, sentenced Abby to death, shocklashed her. 

Cl/xa: L/xa tried to kill the delinquents in all of Season 1, abandoned them to die in Mt. Weather, kidnapped Clarke. 

Memori: Emori steals John’s supplies and holds him at knife point before knocking him unconscious. 

Octillian: Ilian uses Octavia to burn down the Ark, Octavia tries to kill Ilian

The show just....doesn’t do healthy starts well. But I get where you’re coming from.

I could hypothetically see Blecho having sad, pathetic hate sex once. And that is only because Bellamy will be really sad without Clarke, and we have seen the writers have a history of writing pathetic lonely miserable sex. (Br.aven’s “the saddest sex in the world”, Octillian’s questionable-consent suicidal sex, Flarke’s “we’re all gonna die we’re all alone” “you’re not alone” heat-of-the-moment terrified horny teenager sex, and the straight-up rape with Ontari and Murphy). If those nasty scenes didn’t exist I wouldn’t worry at all. But alas.
