When I started in this poetry community I was amped writing poems about poets and expression my heart was my thing until a group poets complained about me writing about them in my book Instagram Elegant Essence Woman. Boy was I angry and devastated how certain people in the poetry community went against me after I gave do much, I put thousands into publishing my book then I had to tell the book company I wanted to update my book every poem I wrote pun Instagram I had to change all the names in books just in case more poets complained so I had to cough up another 400 bucks to update the book. After that my Instagram world kept crashing a friend I trust within my circle told all the private stuff I was saying about other poets. Granted I’m an empath and I’m taking all these emotions falling pun me it was a struggle to even keep writing and even caring to doing prompts or writing about other poets. But through it all I still rise and felt it was to represent the poets I live through poetry thank you @thoughtsstreamingout for all your support.
