Which One Piece Characters Went To College?

I know everybody loves their college aus, but look me in the eye and tell me Luffy would actually go to college. You can't. Anyway here's my controversial opinions

Zoro: He's got a BS in athletic training and aced every class for his major while getting a c in every other class Sanji: Zeff said what the fuck why get a useless degree and a shitton of debt If you really wanna go to more school I'm sending you to trade school. Sanji went and specialized in cosmetology. Ussop: Ussop went to art school where he learned to write artists statements that convinced professors he was a visionary and were complete bullshit Nami: Nami has a degree in meteorology that she paid for entirely by scamming rich men Luffy: Dropped out of highschool, still hasn't gotten his GED Ace: Went to a trade school or a 2 year degree at community college Sabo: PhD candidate Franky: was apprenticed to Fisher Tom in high school and went into the trades as soon as he graduated Marco: went to community college then transferred to a four year school to save money. Went to medical school a few years after graduating Chopper: Homeschooled child prodigy taking college premed classes as a tween. Went to med school as soon as they would let him in. Law: Loaded up on classes and finished premed in 3 years, then went straight to med school. Robin: Has a doctorate. May even have multiple. Brook: graduated high school, did not go to college. Has been awarded honorary degrees at several universities due to his contributions to music. Jinbe: Did not go to college because he didn't have the money or opportunity

yooo do u have any headcanons for what the girls (maybe even mc idk) would do after highschool?

My most confident answer is that I think Sayori would be a teacher. Maybe a daycare worker? I'd even say a child psychologist/school counselor. I've said this before, but I think Sayori would be amazing with kids, and would probably find working with children very gratifying. She's patient, she's compassionate, and she's very receptive. She'd be spending a lot of her time helping children struggling with similar issues that she did when she was young, and I think she'd really take pride in that.

As for her journey to get there after high school, I feel like she'd probably struggle a lot with college, but would eventually find her footing, especially with her support network around her. I don't think she'd want to spend a terribly long period of time getting multiple degrees and fighting for a super good position, either; I get the sense she'd want to start working as soon as possible, which might come back to bite her depending on which career she chooses...

Monika's a bit tough to say. It feels like a bit of a cop-out to say she'd take a coding job, but I do think that's a possibility. I also don't really think something like being a concert pianist would be something she'd seriously consider; in the first place, doing that as a career is inherently volatile, in the second, I don't think Monika would ever really have the confidence in herself to consider playing professionally. I'd imagine one of her friends would probably encourage her to try it, and although she might make some money off of a few gigs, it's always a side thing, and never something she'd consider diving headfirst into.

I get the sense that Monika's high standards for herself probably aren't entirely self-imposed. Girl's got gifted kid syndrome out the nose; I think if any of the girls were seriously considering college, Monika would be the one who felt the most pressure to get in and succeed. Conversely, I think of any of them that would go to college, she would have the absolute worst experience.

Maybe she goes in for a premed program. Maybe law. Maybe something in STEM that is similarly difficult to get through. Something with a high bar to pass, something with a lot of pressure riding on her success. Something likely to put a lot of debt over her head even with scholarships.

And under all of that pressure, she snaps. Maybe she drops out. Maybe she takes a year off. Maybe she fails an entire semester. Regardless, I think she's wont to put a whole lot of pressure onto herself, and then have a nervous breakdown when she can't keep it together, regardless of her support network. I think she'd probably end up in a period where she'd have to reevaluate what her actual goal in life is.

And I think she'd ultimately find it, and be significantly more satisfied with the result than if she just stuck it out wherever she was.

I don't really think Yuri would have very high aspirations. I think she'd hate working in something like fast food or retail, but then again she probably wouldn't enjoy working in general, especially in customer facing environments. Maybe something like a bookstore or coffee shop would be more tolerable. It's kinda funny because I have an old concept of a mild self-insert crackfic which involves Yuri coming to work at my Subway (which is a further offshoot of an old concept of Basil from Omori working at my Subway), so maybe she'd work there.

I think her dream job would be as a novelist, and while I don't really think she'd probably end up being some super famous writer, I do think she'd probably put enough effort into an original work that it would be passable. Now, convincing her to send it to a publisher? Hahaha good luck. In fact, I doubt she'd show anyone for a long, long time. But, with some encouragement, she might self-publish on, like, Amazon. Maybe start a patreon or something related to it, idk. Either way, she'd probably see it as a side-gig similarly to Monika.

I think Natsuki would be in a similar position to Yuri, though she'd have much more dislike of working retail or food-service just because she hates customer service explicitly and lacks a lot of the patience for it. I think there's a number of reasons why Natsuki wouldn't have particularly high aspirations for herself, but that's another story. She'd probably be quick about trying to get into her own place, though.

I think Natsuki would be a Twitch streamer. Completely deadass, I think of anyone in the group she's the most likely, and I think she'd go for it. I think she'd be a Vtuber, and she'd go all in on making her own model. I think that again, this would all be more of a side-gig, but she'd probably enjoy herself doing it, even if she had trouble finding her footing at first.

MC would probably work the most dead-end jobs between high school and a more stable career. I think he'd probably go to college for compsci just because he's a generic man (although they don't call them programmer socks for nothing ;)) and then get a shitty IT helpdesk job which is mostly fixing printers and installing drivers.

TLDR: sam being prelaw has little to no impact on the narrative, there are so many other majors they could have given sam that would make more sense and be utilized in the show

in the pilot episode, we learn that sam is a prelaw student at stanford and is applying to law school. narratively, this serves the purposes of 1) showing us that that sam is very smart 2) showing us that sam is actively planning for a future that does not involve hunting. you could argue that sam picking law is also a rejection of the criminality of hunting and the way he and dean were raised by john.

overall, sam’s law school aspirations have little actual impact on the narrative. we rarely see him flex any legal knowledge or even discuss his studies (we never even learn his major!) so hypothetically, kripke could have given sam any major to accomplish the goals of 1) sam is smart and 2) sam is making life plans. so if given the option to choose for him, what career would you give sam?

i tried to include careers that are in line with sam’s characterization and could be utilized narratively in an interesting way. for example, if he were premed ur would explain how everyone gets patched up after fights, or he’s in computer science and he’s a pro hacker who always has wifi, if he’s an english major that writes horror novels based off their hunts to make money, etc

Quick question: Are academic frats a common American uni thing?

At least at my university they are! There’s premed frat, a pre law frat, a few business frats, engineering… I’m in a chemistry one since I’m a biochem student! Some of them are male only, and some are coed. Mine is coed.

At least in my frat, it’s more like a club than a real frat. We don’t have a frat house, we don’t live together, all we have is a lounge in the chemistry building. We hang out, do socials, and study together. We don’t even party together much

#my frat also has professor members!#some chem profs are actually part of my frat and they host professional events it’s pretty cool #they help connect us to research projects and talk to us about their current research #my frat is also very strict on hazing and it’s very strictly forbidden #I never had to do anything bad or humiliating #the initiation process was super chill and honestly really silly and fun

story time!!! turns out in some states the order of events is that you first take the bar and THEN they review your character and fitness. so even if you pass the bar they can deny your character and fitness application and not grant you admission. insane, right? but wait! you can appeal. and then they’ll hear your case eventually (if you’re lucky, within a year) and decide if you show adequate remorse they will grant you admission to the bar so you can practice. on one hand extremely annoying behavior but on the other hand you have to fuck up pretty bad to completely disqualify yourself from bar admission in the first place.

anyways it turns out this one ex doctor (brown undergrad, stanford premed (which i don’t understand, i thought premed was undergrad?), yale md) failed character and fitness, appealed, and got rejected and so permanently disqualified from bar admission, which is a WILD thing to happen and possibly my worst nightmare. but. reading this public 45 page board decision. i think i’m safe. bc this woman is unhinged (derogatory). screenshots of the decision and expressions of astonishment under the cut

there were NINETEEN formal complaints filed with the medical board over her 20ish year pre law school career, one of which was initiated by the board itself (???) bc, inter alia, when she was asked why she was prescribing narcotics for neuropathy, she responded with this note:

Can you write a sequel to your Heart Skips a Beat fic you wrote a few years ago? I really love that fic and wanna know more about their story. Since it was a Halloween fic and December is coming up, why not write a Christmas party sequel. Since Levi is an Premed student, maybe Zeke could be his rival who is aiming to be a doctor like his father. And is annoyed he keeps making moves on his pre-law girlfriend.

Levi navigates through the crowd of drunk college students, trying hard not to breathe in the scent of alcohol, hot chocolate, and peppermint. It’s not often that he comes to these parties wearing something other than scrubs, but for once he’s not here to answer an EMS call. He’s here to pick up his girlfriend, who he can spot laughing on the couch with a drink in her hand. He suspects it’s the sickeningly sweet (and most likely spiked) hot chocolate that someone had tried to hand him as soon as he walked in. Levi had abandoned his own cup on a shelf on his way to the living room, but he can see that Petra’s cheeks have a familiar flush that typically appears once she’s had her fair share of alcohol.

Like many others at the party, Petra is wearing a costume. She’s in a ballet outfit — or what looks like what could be a ballet outfit based off the tutu and ballet shoes although Levi believes she’s taken a few liberties with her ballerina costume from the corset she wears. Apparently, she’s supposed to be the sugar plum fairy from the Nutcracker ballet. Her costume is lacking wings, but Levi doesn’t know anything about the play to say if this is accurate or not.

Most people are dressed as elves or reindeer. A few guys are wearing Santa costumes. Others are dressed as other popular winter holiday figures: Jack Frost, the Grinch, and someone is even dressed as Jack Skellington for some reason. There a few peculiar costumes here and there: a Christmas tree, an ornament, a candy cane, among others. It’s mostly a spattering of red, green, and white across the room. Levi sticks out like a sore thumb in his gray winter coat and dark jeans.

He observes the man beside Petra that has been lucky enough to be in her company this evening. It’s the all too familiar face of Zeke Jaeger, another pre-med student in Levi’s year. Despite sharing nearly all their classes since freshman year, Levi isn’t very fond of Zeke and he’s fairly certain the feeling is mutual. Admittedly, Levi hadn’t been the friendliest when Zeke had attempted to befriend him, but Levi has never seen the point of allying himself with people just because they shared the same career path. Aside from major, he and Zeke have nothing in common. Where Zeke likes to attend every frat party and networking event he can to make connections, Levi prefers to only do the absolute minimum when it comes to networking and spent the rest of his time studying or working at EMS. Because of their differences in social circles and extracurriculars, the two hardly run into each other and rarely butt heads until they found that they had a mutual interest: Petra.

Zeke had the misfortune of meeting Petra much later than Levi. Pre-meds and pre-law students don’t usually run in the same circles and Zeke had only met Petra after she had showed up to one of Levi’s EMS meetings. It was a chance encounter and one Zeke undoubtedly believed was fate — he didn’t typically attended EMS meetings, choosing to skip them as much as possible without getting kicked out, and law students weren’t usually interested in EMS club meetings. The look of devastation and horror on Zeke’s face when he found out that Petra was there for Levi did fill Levi was satisfaction, but he didn’t know that satisfaction would be fleeting and that Zeke would then proceed to find every possible chance he could to spend time with Petra despite Petra’s relationship status. Because of Levi’s relationship with Petra, it meant that he also had to spend time more time than he wanted with Zeke, who never got the hint that Petra is fully committed and has no intention of leaving Levi. It’s more of a nuisance than anything else, although Levi is slightly amused because despite all of Zeke’s meddling, Petra cannot for the life of her remember who Zeke is.

Levi can see that Petra has once again forgotten who Zeke is by the way she interacts with him on the couch. Despite the arm Zeke has thrown over the back of the couch where Petra is sitting, she’s sitting at the edge of her seat, playing with her empty cup and laughing at whatever Zeke is saying but not engaging with him otherwise. She smiles politely at him, the smile never quite reaching her eyes, and covers her face partially with her hand whenever she giggles to take a quick look around. As soon as she spots Levi, her already half-hearted attention leaves Zeke entirely and is wholly directed towards Levi. Petra’s face breaks into a smile and she immediately leaves her seat to bound into Levi’s arms.

“Levi!” she cries delightedly, her breath smelling of hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps. She nuzzles her head affectionately against Levi’s neck. “You took too long.”

“Looks like you had company, though,” Levi replies.

He’s acutely aware of Petra and all things related to Petra. He’s aware of how attractive she is and how attractive other guys find her. He’s aware of how short her tulle skirt is and how Zeke’s eyes are gazing at Petra wolfishly even as she’s wrapped tightly around her boyfriend. It’s a lie to say that Levi isn’t the jealous, possessive type, and when he drapes his coat around Petra’s shoulders the reason is not solely because he’s noticed the goosebumps that have risen on her bare arms.

“Oh, thank you,” Petra says, not even so much as casting a backwards glance at Zeke. She’s forgotten him completely despite him undoubtedly keeping her company most of the evening. She wraps herself in Levi’s coat, a slightly larger fit than her own coats although the shoulders are much broader than hers, before wrapping her arms around Levi once more and inhaling his scent deeply. “You smell so nice.”

“Are you ready to leave already?” he asks as he pats her ginger hair affectionately, careful not to jostle the sparkling tiara that is perched perfectly on her head. She’s sprayed something in her hair and the palm of his hand comes away with sparkles.

“You should stay, Petra,” Zeke says loudly, but Petra’s either too intoxicated or infatuated to let her attention be stolen by anyone other than Levi. When he notices that Petra hasn’t even turned her head, Zeke raises his voice to be better heard over the party. “Why did you come so late if you were just going to leave, Levi?”

“I had to take over someone’s EMS shift. They were a no-show,” Levi replies easily, fixing an icy stare at Zeke who doesn’t even have the shame to look embarrassed even though it’s clear that Levi is alluding to him. Then again, this is far from the first time that Levi has covered Zeke’s shift, although it was more to bolster his own CV for medical school rather than doing Zeke a favor.

“God, what a fucking jerk,” Petra mumbles against Levi’s skin, but her voice is still loud enough for Zeke to hear and it’s only when Petra has an opinion that Zeke’s cheeks begin to burn an ugly, angry red.

“I’m going to get a drink,” Zeke mutters, getting up from the couch and pushing past Levi and Petra to get to the kitchen where the crock pot half filled with spiked hot chocolate sits.

“You’re not going to say goodbye to your friend?” Levi asks as he turns his head to watch Zeke retreat.

“Who’s that?” Petra sniffs, wrinkling her nose at Levi. She yawns, covering her mouth half-heartedly before resting her head yet again on Levi’s shoulder. “I thought he was your friend. He said you guys were classmates.”

Levi tries to navigate them towards the door. It’s difficult to move when his girlfriend insists on attaching herself to his side, but he doesn’t have the heart to unwind her arms around his neck so he does an awkward shuffle while trying not to bump into anyone. “I don’t know why he says that. You get along with him much better than I ever have.”

Petra lifts her head and gives Levi a confused look. “What are you talking about? I’ve never seen that guy before in my life.”

Levi snorts. He would suspect that she was lying just to appease him, but she’s never remembered Zeke no matter how drunk or sober she was. If Zeke were to ever find out, he’d surely be heartbroken although Levi wonders how it’s not painfully obvious by now. Petra never approaches Zeke first, she avoids addressing Zeke as much as possible, and she doesn’t have the faintest air of recognition when she sees him. Levi wonders if Zeke is just in denial.

“You spent most of the party talking to a total stranger instead of having fun with everyone else?” Levi asks.

“He didn’t seem to want to talk to anyone else, and I didn’t want to hurt his feelings,” Petra pouts.

“You’re too nice.”

“I am not. I’ll have you know that I completely obliterated the defense attorney and his client at the mock trial in my introduction to criminal law class the other day,” Petra huffs. “He was crying, the defendant was crying, and so were some people sitting in the jury.”

“That’s my girl,” Levi says. He reaches up to untangle Petra’s arms from around his neck when he notices her lifting her face towards his, her eyes closed. “What are you doing?”

Petra cracks open an eye. “I thought we were kissing,” she replies, her lips still pursed.

“After you spent the night talking to another man?” Levi asks with a raised brow. He’s not actually bothered by it in the least, but it is amusing to see Petra get flustered anyway.

“You didn’t come until so much later,” Petra says. She tugs at the hem at the bottom of Levi’s sweater. “I missed you the entire night. You abandoned me, Levi, to save other people’s lives!”

“You’re absolutely right. I should have let everyone die,” Levi deadpans before planting a kiss on Petra, one that she eagerly reciprocates. The taste of chocolate peppermint would probably taste overpowering on its own, but it tastes just right on Petra’s lips and his lips part easily to take in more of her. He probably kisses her a little harder, a little more passionately than he normally would in public, but the possibility of Zeke watching only makes this kiss more delicious. When they finally part, Levi casts a backwards glance and sees Zeke’s shocked face. To Petra, Levi asks, “Ready to go? Better leave before we get snowed in here.”

“As long as I’m snowed in with you,” Petra chirps happily. She also glances back and notices Zeke staring at them. She leans over towards Levi and whispers, “Is that a friend of yours?” Once again, she’s forgotten Zeke.

“Not at all,” Levi says with a smirk and wraps his arm around Petra before leading her through the hallway and out the door, leaving everything else behind.

Happy STS! Today I’m returning the back to school themed ask. Did Louisa always know what she wanted to pursue in the future, or did she struggle to choose a career? How do Keith and Zoe feel about her choice to study premed? (I’m thinking of how expensive schooling is in the USA😭, and we know the family doesn’t have TONS of extra money lying around.) And, finally, were there any other programs Louisa was tempted to enrol in instead? (Any part of her that secretly wished to be an English major? 😉)

Excellent question!

Despite having always loved reading and the written word, she was probably always more interested in a medical career, and there are many reasons for that. She was always an animal lover and also considered being a vet or a marine biologist when she was very young. And as we know, she enjoyed and did well in biology in high school (and even chemistry, before it became organic!). She does have a naturally caring and nurturing side (even though it doesn't always show), and in high school, she became a fan of several TV shows set in medical practices, which led her to think of medicine as a more "cool" career path (she was only 16, so we can forgive her for that).

But money ultimately was the deciding factor. She saw how the winds were blowing with her family and decided to concentrate on a career that would allow her to be financially stable and not dependent on either them or a husband. Her grades and exam scores were high enough to receive a full academic scholarship, so as long as she keeps her grades up, she doesn't have to worry about paying for her undergraduate degree (but obviously not if she fails a required course, which is part of the reason she was panicking so much -- without the scholarship, she'd be in danger of having to drop out altogether). And she's prepared to take out loans for med school, knowing the salary would be high enough that she'd be able to pay them back once she started working.

And of course, medicine is a field she thought would meet with more parental approval. When she was younger, Keith was definitely one of those parents who made it quite clear that business, law, or medicine were basically the only acceptable career options for his children -- mostly because, as we know, he didn't grow up rich himself and he was determined that his children wouldn't ever have to struggle. And to him, any career an English major would be qualified to do would count as "struggling." (It was Zoe's side of the family who were so-called "old money," and she certainly felt the same way, although she wasn't quite as adamant about it -- she was more of the "find a man to support you" mentality, which is even more distasteful to Lou!) Unfortunately, because of this, he really put the pressure on, and Ethan, who wasn't cut out for any of those fields, ended up getting the worst of it. Those feelings of inadequacy were part of the reason he developed the problems he did, and that in turn ended up being even more of a motivator for Lou, as the "last hope" for her family, to go into one of those prestigious fields and achieve what he couldn't.

If none of the above had been factors, yes, she might have given much more thought to studying English! All in all, she might well have enjoyed it more. It certainly would have been less stressful for her. But by the time it came to choose, she had already decided that medicine was the way. Then she started university, and the rest is history.😊

More about the modern textile AU (AKA Kaer Morhen University):

So Jaskier, Priscilla, and Shani all go to Oxenfurt (why do I keep forgetting that NAME, wtf). Jaskier is a music performance major and a savaant with basically any musical instrument. Literally, he gets bored, goes to the music building, and teaches himself a new instrument. It's getting ridiculous. Pris is a studio arts major - she can't decide between clay or canvas pieces (pottery or painting/drawing), so she's doing both. Shani is premed track, majoring in biology and anatomy.

Shani and Pris trade off being the Mom Friend and and the Vodka Aunt of their group - they've both agreed that Jaskier is an orange tomcat (super cute, hella friendly, dumber than a box of rocks, and wants to hump LITERALLY EVERYTHING) and cannot be left unsupervised. They mean it as lovingly as possible, but yeah.

...also prone to caterwauling at the most godawful hours of the night. Fuck, Jask, GET SOME SLEEP.

Pris runs into Milena in one of her art classes - Milena is, of course, studying textiles and all the decorating techniques thereof - and teaches her some art student hacks for making stencils and stamps on the cheap. Milena thanks her with some tips on which types of paint and ink work best on which types of fabrics, and they're friends forever.

((I WILL find a way to make Marta de Roggeven and Valdo Marx date, if not marry. They deserve each other. Sadly, that would make Valdo Milena's brother-in-law, and she doesn't deserve that.))

Also, Pris has 100% been a summer camp counselor in this AU. After reading @inexplicifics "I Have Heart-Fire and Singing to Give" (where Jaskier, Eskel, and Milena go to Oxenfurt and get kidnapped), she just strikes me as someone who'd be REALLY GOOD at it. Confident, fun, cheerful, good with kids...

Also, if she and Shani didn't grow up together (or meet at the summer camp), then I'm gonna say that they ran into each other in the anatomy section of the library. what are your headcanons for the hss prime characters after high school? who goes to college? what do they major in? for any that don't go to college, what do they do instead? any post-high school romance hcs? anything else you want to share?

ok so first of all, my prime world takes place begining in 2014, with Simon being a sophmore when he becomes a student at Berry High so he & most of the other main characters graduate in 2016, with choices hss taking place the year after in 2017, so the only prime students still attending Berry High during the events of choices hss are Mia and Katherine (also pb was wrong for breaking them up and never putting Katherine in choices 💞)

as for majors/the futures of these characters (in no particular order) (also not all of these r as thought out as others) (also also im not doing every a-lister or whatever the fuck hss prime calls them. thats too much man. if u wanna know about em ask about em seperately):

Ezra would take a few courses at a community college so he has at least a little college experience before he signs back on with.... whatever record label the band had signed on w in the story i forgor. he plays guitar for Lisa Valentine and also has his own solo career, but every now and then Kingslayer will put out an album together when they all have the time to. he marries Wes in Vegas while on tour to give Wes an alibi for something, but they've had feelings for each other for a while. Eventually Simon joins their relationship & the three of them raise a kid together

Payton would get a degree in communications and become an events coordinator. every time a friend (from high school or otherwise) says they want to have some kind of event, she always tries to plan it for free or discounted but they convince her to take the money lol also she and her partner are foster parents!!!

for Koh, i love how in choices she decides to do premed in community college!! i think she eventually does her residancy at Edenbrook, where the only attending she respects is one Dr Baxter Lucafont, for the time they stole from a big pharma company to help a paitent that wasn't even their's (also all the doctors that helped them pull it off, but in a different way). also Zaid and Esme. i can see them being friends lol

Kallie gets a degree in library science and becomes a capital L Librarian in Boston, where she and Koh reconnect & start dating <3

also like in choices canon (but this was mentioned in prime a few times as well) Wes' intention is to go to law school and study criminal justice, but it kind of... takes a while for him to do it. while he's in community college for undergrad, he just kind of gets an antsy feeling that he could be doing things to help people now instead of waiting around to get a degree, so he drops out for a bit to do what he can, even if it isnt technically """legal""". he starts looking back into it after he and Ezra get married, but he pauses again when they (+ Simon) have their kid bc he doesn't want to be the kind of dad that his own father was. he does go back to community college during this time, but he does as much of it as he can online so he can be a sahd until their son is old enough to not need him around so much. then he fucking kills it in law school (he doesnt go to one of those fancy schmancy ivy leauges though, just a state university) and becomes an associate at Ricci, Lee, Tanaka

Julian gets a scholarship to do football in college, and while he is good enough to be scouted for professional teams, he isn't sure if its what he wants to do beyond school. he's always been Macho Football Boy, but he's not sure if that's all he wants to be forever, yknow? like he's smart. not Nishan, straight a's, 4.0 gpa smart but he's never at risk to lose his scholarship bc his acedemics are too low. i might change my mind on it later, but i think he might get a degree in physical education (& he's good at it. none of that "run the mile. no i wont tell you how to stretch or keep yourself from hurting yourself. just go as fast as you can" bs, he actually teaches his students how to work out safely and correctly, bc working out can be fun if you know what you're doing)

Autumn would go at Hollywood U, bc while it is mostly a film school, it does have some very good classes in the classical arts and photography. i don't have much of an idea of what she'd do beyond that though. its Autumn! what else is there to say. (also my version of Autumn isnt whitewashed to hell and back like she is by the time she's in choices ill forever be mad about that)

Mia would become a manager. Ezra's manager! i think she'd get her degree at HWU as well. she and Katherine would take a breif break from dating each other but ultimately they'd get married. no kids, but they are the Cool Aunts to their friends kids

Katherine would double major in English and Music and become a playwrite professionally. Mia is her manager as well <3 sometimes she and Ezra will collab on a musical together

Nishan will get as many STEM degrees as fast as he can. dude has like 5 phds and hasnt slept since high school. he eventually gets an author husband who he met online bc said author husband was curious about how some science thing worked so he could write it correctly for a science fiction novel. i literally just invented his author husband so i know nothing about him yet. but i did misspell the word "him" so i think his name will be Jim

Sakura gets a degree in computer science and starts her own indie video game company. its very successful

Ace gets into an ivy league college and gets a degree in political science, then works his way up from local politics to national politics. he's still trying to get Simon to run for president.

Max also gets a football scholarship at the same college as Julian, but he stays with football professionally though. i think he'd be at risk to losing the scholarship due to grades bc he was able to coast through high school thanks to Dad Principal so he enlists Julian to help him. Julian eventually begrudgingly agrees and they tolerate each other until graduation. at some between starting college and graduating, he and Simon will end up back in Cedar Cove together and become.... well friends with benefits isnt the right term because theyre not friends. i think he'd fall for Simon but Simon would be like "ummm.no" and cut the relationship off there

Kara goes to HWU and becomes an actress. at first she and Autumn mostly just ignore each other bc while she stopped bullying her they're not exactly friends. until they get paired up for a project they both have a class in & gradually become friends. and then girlfriends.

and now Simon. my guy. my boy. Si-guy. Slimeon. my son. he graduates high school a little early so he can focus on his gymnastics career and go to the Olympics. he does really good. good enough to place bronze his first year. but also his first year compeating, he breaks his foot real bad about half way through his routine. he doesnt realize until someone points it out to him though, he thinks he just landed a little funny and pulled a muscle. during the time his foot is healing is when he and Max have their weird little gay thing and also he decides that he doesn't want to keep doing gymnastics professionally. it was fun, but he's ready for something else now. he kind of just does whatever he wants, from working in haunted houses, to acting, to joining Ezra on tour and playing the violin during some concerts. mostly though he's Wes and Ezra's trophy boyfriend and dad #3 to their son
