I've always wanted my current webcomic to have halftones (à la manga!), and never really took the time to "learn" how to do it.
And whaddya know... it's super easy and changes everything and I LOVE HOW IT LOOKS 💙💙💙

heya! if you don’t mind me asking, what are the brushes/effects you use to get the halftone effect in your art? i’ve been wanting to try that kind of thing out for a while and i really admire your art style :] thank you!
howdy! The main brush I use is called honeyeater, which is found in the ‘vintage’ brush section on procreate. You can also build up the opacity with it with pen pressure.
I also downloaded a free screen tones set from this place.(does not include undertale brush, but I do have a tutorial for that somewhere on this blog)
Hope this helps!

I sadly don't have anything new ready for Kirby's birthday this year, but I do have this manga-styled drawing I made last year that I never posted
Coincidentally, he's eating cake 🍰

Bubblegum Crisis: GD-42 vs Priss.
Something of a companion piece to a BGC drawing I did last year featuring Linna.
