Hanging out with Jordan is always fun, which ever form they take. André never got peoples hang up over the gender thing was, Jordan was cool either way.
But he’ll admit that they’re easier to carry back to campus drunk off their ass when they’re a girl.
Him and Luke were easily able to hold up Jordan between them and with Cate to open doors and shit getting Jordan back to their dorm room was easy.
There was one small hiccup.
“Noooo, I wanna say good night to my beautiful amazing girlfriend with the best ass ever first .” Jordan whined.
“Buddy it’s 3am, she’s asleep you can talk to her in the morning.” Luke tried to reason with them as they got to the courtyard outside side of the dorms.
“Also your obsession with her ass is a little concerning.” Andre added.
The four of them had gone clubbing. It was a last minute plan and it wasn’t meant to be an original four night out but the other three were busy. Sam had an important assignment for his puppeteering class and Marie and Emma already had plans for a roommates movie night.
Andre probably should have realised that that meant Jordan would be fourth wheeling him, Luke and Cate leading to the shapeshifter spending most of the time out at the bar doing shots with the new friends they’d made while the 3 of them were being throuple-y.
But they all had a good night regardless and hopefully Jordan won’t have too bad of a hangover tomorrow.
“No it’s not. And she might not be asleep,” Jordan slurred out. “She was having a movie night, those can go pretty late.”
The look in Jordan’s eyes was too hopeful Andre couldn’t help it.
“Alright I’ll text her.”
“Thank you, thank you thank you. I just want to say good night and that I love her.”
“Whoa what? Is the first time you’re saying the L word?” Cate exclaimed, stopping the 4 of them from going any further.
“Lesbians?” Jordan asked, confused.
“No, love.” Luke explained “fuck you are way too drunk.”
“Oh sorry, yes I love her but I haven’t told her yet. I’m going to do it tonight.” Jordan looked so proud of themselves.
“No you are not,” Cate told them firmly. “Not when you’re too drunk to stand up on your own.”
“But..”
“She’s right dude,” Andre interrupted. “You got to make shit like that romantic, like recreate your first date or something.”
“I should recreate getting shitfaced at Dusty’s?”
“No,” Luke said with a laugh. “The dinner you two went out for the week after that. At the Korean place off campus. Or do something else romantic. Basically do tell her but not tonight.”
“Ok, can I still tell her good night?” Jordan’s big brown eyes were impossible to say no to.
“If she’s up.” Andre said pulling out his phone.

“When did you know you loved her?” Cate asked as they entered the dorm building and headed for the elevator. Getting Jordan to their room was going a lot quicker now that they knew Marie was waiting for them there.
“Um, she was giving me a blowjob..”
“How romantic.” Cate interrupted.
“Fuck off, anyway I switched during it by accident. I thought I majorly fucked up, like totally freaked her out but I didn’t. She just kept going. And I just knew then and there that she wanted all of me, exactly as I am and she makes me feel so happy and good about myself and I’ve never been in love before but I’m pretty sure that this is it.”
“Ok that’s a bit romantic.” Cate admits at they got out of the elevator on Jordan’s floor.
“Thank you.”
Marie was waiting for them at Jordan’s doom in slippers and a hoodie that Cate is pretty sure belongs to Jordan over her pyjamas.
Once Jordan saw her they slipped out of Luke and Andre’s arms and staggered into Marie’s.
“You got it from here or do you need help getting them into bed?” Luke asked.
“No I got it, thanks.” Marie said as she opened the dorm room door while Jordan nuzzled into her neck. “Goodnight”

Drunk Jordan was compliant if a bit cuddly so getting them into their pyjamas and into bed wasn’t too difficult.
“Sorry I didn’t come out tonight, it looks like you had a lot of fun.” Marie said as she helped Jordan sit on the bed so she could untie their shoes.
“Nah, it’s cool. You have fun with Emma?”
“Yep, we watched mean girls and a few other classics that’s she was horrified that I hadn’t seen yet. You?”
“Yep, it was so fun. So many shots, maybe too many.” Jordan got up and wrapped their arms around Marie, one hand sliding down to her ass before stopping. “Do you mind that I do that?”
“What?” Pulling out of Jordan’s arms so she could take their shirt off and replace it with a pyjama top.
“Me putting my hands on your ass, like you’ve joked about it a few times and Andre says I’m obsessed but does it bother you?” Jordan looked so concerned as Marie was undoing their belt.
She smiled to herself. “I don’t mind it, kind of like it to be honest.”
“Really?” They asked with so much relief and hope on their face that Marie couldn’t help but kiss them before getting back to taking their jeans off.
“Yeah, I’m been pretty unwanted all my life but I’m never insecure about you wanting me because you make it so obvious that you do, through ass grabbing.” Marie said with a laugh “you also make it clear that you enjoy spending time with me and are an all round amazing partner. Plus I know I have a great ass, I’d be offended if you didn’t appreciate it.”
Once Jordan was in their bed Marie pulled off her hoodie and slippers and joined them.
“It was really cool to hang out with they guys, even if I was fourth wheeling.” Jordan said cuddling into her side. “They give good advice.”
“Like what?” Marie asked as she started to doze off.
“They said not to tell you that I love you when I’m drunk. I’m gonna do it over dinner, make it romantic.”
Marie was suddenly wide awake while Jordan was out like a light. She just about managed to stop her self from jumping for joy or something equally as embarrassing and likely to wake up her partner.
‘Jordan loves me,’ she thought to herself self as she closed her eyes to go to sleep. ‘And I love them too.’

A/n: headcanons are weird to me cause I just end up writting a short story anyways. Might make another part to talk more about the relationship itself

Your relationship definitely started on a…rough patch
You and Rory got together first. It happened very naturally, as he couldn’t really hide his affections from you (not that this mattered at all to him) and you found him more and more endearing and adorable with every passing day
You and Erica got together almost 8 months later. She realised her feelings for you during a school dance and made it her mission to steal you away.
Rory was actually excited for you, funnily enough! Of course both of you acknowledged how hot Erica was and he thought it was so cool that his girlfriend was approached by someone like her (gave him a new sense of confidence too). He was the one who encouraged you to reply to Erica’s advancements, assuring you he was totally fine with it!
It took Erica a long time to agree to “sharing” you with Rory. She tried time and time again to have you change your mind, but you stood your ground firmly, explaining that you loved him with all your heart, so she could either accept the terms or move on
A lot of disagreements in the beginning over Erica’s possessiveness, but things got even worse when she started catching feelings for Rory as well
All of a sudden, she’s picking fights over everything! Rory’s name can’t even be uttered in conversation without some sort of volcanic reaction. She often feels guilty about these moments, but she finds it really hard to navigate her new found affection for somebody she used to see as such a weirdo. Now she can barely suppress a smile when he offers to pay for her coffee as well while out or pretend to be annoyed when he’s oversharing about his special interests
You figure it out for her. The realization hits you all at once one day, during another argument in which Erica tried to convince you to ditch your plans with your boyfriend and stay with her! It almost makes you laugh at how simple this whole thing could’ve been solved
You told Rory everything (with Erica’s consent of course) and he was over the moon. He was pacing around the room, giggling like a little kid, hugging you, twirling you, posing and making all sorts of funny remarks about how much of a ladies man he is before he finally picked up the phone, called Erica, and asked her on a proper date
Things calmed down a lot after that. Arguing halted at once, even though it still took all of you a little bit to get accustomed to this new dynamic.
You and Rory tried to make Erica as comfortable as possible. She’s very insecure and concerned with maintaining her image in front of the school and her feelings felt very conflicting at first, but soon, she learned to get over her fears. On your first date together as a throuple, as she looked at the two of you sharing a menu across the table from her, she knew she loved you more than she loved being popular, whatever that meant
Rory loves boasting about his two beautiful girls. Takes every occasion to rub it in Etahn and Benny’s noses, which definitely makes for an entertaining scene
Erica finds it exciting to rediscover and explore some of the more geeky subjects that she used to be passionate about before. You encourage her a lot and she eventually learns to have a fun time exchanging theories and information with Rory about whatever topic.
You always keep extra sunglasses and sun protection in your bag for them, in case one of them forgets (it’s always Rory, and Erica always teases him for it but it’s okay, cause even if he’s forgetfulness would have enraged her in the past, now she’s just grown to accept it as another trait of her lover’s, whom she loves very much)

Hey what are your avatar otps besides azulaang?
oh umm… I wouldn’t call them OTPs since that is exclusively Azulaang, but my bi Azula headcanon lives in a variety of ships. Azutara, Azuki, Maizula… not Tyzula tbh because that feels like… imbalanced? and not Tophzula because they are menace-besties but not romantic, but with any of the other girls I think it could be great. Azutara has the enemies to lovers from Azulaang but with more spice and less forgiveness, they‘d tear eachother apart first but that makes it even sweeter if they eventually fall in love. Azuki is kind of different because Suki is more rational and holds less of an emotional grudge, it‘d be difficult for Azula to earn her trust but she would not be openly hostile to her unless necessary. I imagine this one could only happen if Azula is already in the middle or post redemption though, because Suki would not put up with any EtL shit. I guess that is exactly why it intrigues me too, I feel Suki would be more willing to give Azula a chance, more than Katara for example, but at the same time it would be impossibly hard to win her trust and I‘d like to see if Zula can manage it. Lastly Maizula, and I prefer this one over Tyzula because I feel Mai is more capable of holding her own against Azula in a relationship. It’s a complicated version of childhood friends to lovers and I‘m kind of here for it. No idea how it would work though lol.
Aside from Azula ships, I think Zutara is pretty cool and works well alongside Azulaang. Kataang is kinda cool in theory too, but I don’t like shipping Aang with anyone except Azula, it feels wrong 🤷♂️ The only other Aang ship I can imagine liking is Zukaang, but I don’t talk about it much.
Oh and I have to give a shoutout to Sokkla, I don’t particularly vibe with it but they’re the sister ship to Azulaang and I do see the potential of the two genius strategists, so if Aang didn’t exist I would definitely ship Sokkla instead. Nothing but love to the comrades over there. 🫶🏼
edit: totally forgot this but I actually also love Tylaang aka Ty-Lee and Aang, it just has absolutely no fandom so it’s hard to get the ball rolling. I just feel they would be such a wholesome bubbly cute ship, and I dig the Ty-Lee airbender ancestry theory so she‘d love to learn all about airbender customs and they‘d have so much fun and probably a huge family 😅 anyway I think party of why I ship this is just because I think these two deserve the world and it represents my wish for them to be totally carefree and happy. you can also add Azula and make this a throuple, I think that would work because you have Tyzula as the polar opposites and Aang in the middle to bridge the gap.
speaking of throuples I enjoy the idea of… Azutaraang? (Azula/Katara/Aang) but it is very difficult to make work. The only way I can see it is if Azula and Katara fall in love first because nothing good could come of them fighting over Aang. or maybe I could see like a stranded on a deserted island AU where the three of them have to work together and learn to rely on eachother… idk, difficult but not impossible.
Oh and I love Zuki too (Zuko x Zuki) …damn I guess I do have quite a few non-Azulaang ships. anyway this is essentially a bodyguard AU and it’s actually my favorite Zuko ship (sorry Zutara) not much to say about it cuz I’ve barely engaged with it, but I love the idea and think they would just work really well together. I also can see this as a throuple with Sokka again. I don’t really vibe with Zukka on their own but if you add Suki then I love it, because Suki deserves two good boys and it’s more fun for everyone involved if those two good boys are in love with eachother too.

Leigh plays Tellius prt 25
I like how they throw this foreshadowing into the story so early. I'll talk it about this more once we learn the aforementioned secret, but for now I'll just say that I find the parallels between Naesala and another king quite fascinating.
I had to get this base conversation, even though I've seen it before. I think it's just such a sweet addition to the story. I mentioned it before, but I just love these three brothers. Their backstory is so sad, and I love how, even though they still bicker and don't always get along, they all rely on and support one another.
See, like this right here. This base conversation is payoff for the ridiculous little argument Rolf and Boyd got into earlier about skill vs strength. I think the Tellius duology does sibling relationships so well. Ike and Mist have a similar dynamic, wherein they biker and tease one another, while also clearly caring for one another.
Oh, Ilyana. Never change.
I couldn't stop cackling during this base conversation. I just love everything about it— Ike's no nonsense attitude towards Aimee's flirtations, Soren rushing in to save Ike from doing something that could get him in trouble, and then Soren aggressively flirting with Aimee for some sweet, sweet discounts. It's such a lovely callback to the base conversation in PoR, wherein Soren gives Aimee advice on how to seduce Ike in exchange for a rare staff.
I know a lot of people headcanon Soren as a jealous partner, and it's not that I disagree (I think he has a possessive streak which embarrasses him), but I think he's also very confident in the fact that Ike isn't interested in the various women that flirt with him, so he has no reason to feel threatened. Sure, if a woman oversteps their boundaries, Soren is going to step in. But he isn't overly jealous. And I think that sort of thing is rare in characters like him, the intensely-in-love-with-their-best-childhood-friend archetype. He loves Ike, that is for certain. But he's also a pragmatic person who takes his position as staff officer very seriously. If there is a way for him to get a discount on goods or get his hands on an extremely rare item, well, he's not afraid to do what needs to be done.
As he says in this conversation, "What I do now, I do for the good of the company."
Gosh, I love this base conversation. It's literally just Ranulf talking about Soren's character growth from PoR to RD. Ranulf is always carefully observing Soren, like that moment in PoR where he implies he knows about Soren's laguz heritage, or that moment when he asks Ike about whether or not his "nervous little staff officer" has snapped yet. I think Soren and Ranulf should interact more! I'm so mad they cut out the scene where Soren reluctantly agrees to ride on transformed Ranulf's back. Ahhh. I have so many brainworms about these two. I don't ship them romantically, but I think that their dynamic is just so fun to think about. It's my personal belief that they would (eventually, after a lot of effort on Ranulf's part) become good friends (even if Soren would never admit it).
Let Ike have two boyfriends!! Let them all travel the world together as a partially queerplatonic throuple!!! Ugh my heart hurts just thinking about it.
AND HERE IT IS
This is my favorite cutscene in the game. Gosh, seeing Ranulf animated in this scene is always such a treat. The smooth delivery of his lines, the small little ear twitches, the fact that he is just too damn handsome... Yeah, I'll admit it. I 100% have a bit of a crush on Ranulf. I totally understand why Lyre and Kyza fight over him.
I mean, I love a lot of other things about this cutscene. I love how effortlessly cool Zelgius is, I love the grand scale of it all, I love the gloomy, misty atmosphere, I love how each laguz and beorc in the background is animated with such care and attention to detail, I even love Tibarn's ridiculous line "To wing, brothers! Catch me if you can!" And oooh, don't even get me started on the low timbre of Skrimir's voice. I'm not usually into muscular men, but Skrimir is an exception.
Maybe I just have a thing for catboys...
Gosh, I love this dynamic between Skrimir and Soren. This one-sided infatuation is so damn cute. And I'm glad to see someone else appreciate Soren as much as I do. Of course, Soren immediately rejects him and rushes to stand by Ike.
I don't ship these Soren and Skrimir, but I understand the people that do. It's a very fun dynamic.
Anyway, that's it for now! Sorry for the long wait on this one. I have been struggling to get back into routine after having a week off from work. Also, I'm sorry if I talked too much about shipping in this one. But it is impossible for me to be normal about this part of the game, with so much focus put on Soren. In PoR, Soren struggled with the fact that he didn't feel like he belonged anywhere, that he was unwanted, and now look at him!! He's so much more confident now, less afraid to speak his mind.
I just want to grab him by the face and tell him, "You're doing great, sweetie!"
Would he kill me for doing that? Oh, absolutely.
Would it be worth it anyway?
I think anyone who has read this far already knows the answer.

Hello. Hope you are doing well. If it is no trouble, could you expand please on the headcanons and roles that the specialists will have in your AU? I also understood this fairly early into your blog that you hate Sky, but who is your favourite specialist and why? Thank you for reading and I totally get if you don't answer.
I would be delighted to!!
In terms of writing structure, in my AU the specialists still occupy more or less the same love-interest side characters role, just expanded a bit. So a little more screentime, and sometimes they'll get their own B or C plot, especially in filler episodes or when the winx are all together in the same A plot
In terms of writing content, the first two seasons are largely the same. The Sky/Brandon switch, Stella having an established (but still new) relationship with Brandon, and Bloom, Tecna, and Musa pairing off with Sky, Timmy, and Riven respectively
Brandon gets a backstory and a little more dimension, and he gets more screentime with Stella and Bloom, because Brandon/Stella/Bloom throuple is endgame
Meaning Bloom and Sky break up obviously, and Sky eventually leaves Red Fountain because of increasing political tension on Eraklyon and also his parents really not loving all the shit that keeps going down on Magix lol. He IS still a character though, and he comes back into the plot eventually
Tecna and Timmy remain endgame, but Timmy gets a bit of backstory and their relationship is less dumb and more queer
Riven and Musa also break up and stay that way, but they're still friends, and Riven eventually transfers to Cloud Tower as a witch of air and has a little arc about coming to terms with his sexuality and befriending Lucy
Helia is also there. He is even weirder in my AU than he is in the show. That is all
I don't count Nabu as a specialist but he's also there and changed very little
NOW. As for my FAVORITE specialist? It's a tie between Riven and Brandon. Riven is more narratively interesting, he just gives me so much to sink my teeth into, but Brandon is just a cool guy. I can't help it he's such a cool guy

What are your thoughts on Mencken apparently having a wife and a child according to Justin Kirk? I think it makes sense since a wife and a kid is pretty much mandatory to become present. Would you add that to throuple au and make Roman the sidepiece?
I heard stuff about a wife and kid earlier, too, but I wasn't sure where it came from so I ignored it.
But, yeah, I'm cool with it. I'm trying to reserve judgment before building any kind of explicit headcanon for this, because we might well meet them on Sunday, but I have some ideas poking around. I like the idea of a Mrs Mencken who's a bit more fun and lighthearted to match Mencken's casual offhand thing. Not ditzy, definitely very smart and with an edge, but still fun. That's all I'll build for now.
And, yeah, I'm totally comfortable adding her and the kid into throuple au, with Mencken having a totally clear and open arrangement for polyamory or otherwise with his wife. Especially given that if it works out, Rome could spend time with the kid. <3

On a different fandom fury, why is it always "oh Elia/Ashara/whoever would be okay with cheating and humiliation because DORNISH and Rhaegar crowning Lyanna wouldn't have been a big deal if everyone else hadn't been prudes" when Catelyn canonically says that she would have been able to roll with Ned having lovers as long as he still treated her with love and respect and had any bastards fostered somewhere and given money and some kind of decent career path as would be right and honorable as long as he didn't insist on raising those children at home. We have canon proof that Catelyn would be fine with her husband, (and a husband that she's very much in love with!) having private, discrete affairs and possibly children, but Ashara is The Cool Girl who would happily raise Jon, and Elia is totally chill with being publicly humiliated for a 14y/o who is also a potential political threat to her children. It's possible Elia might be okay with Rhaegar quietly having a relationship with a woman that posed no threat to Elia or her children, but not certain, and its never portrayed that way in fic.
Because of three reasons
Racism. GRRM plays into the exotic/erotic trope with Dorne. We see Arianne as a seductress, nipple first through Arys' eyes and we are constantly told about how Dornish people are licentious without the author doing nearly enough legwork to deconstruct this harmful trope. Idc if he says outside of canon that Dornish morality towards sex is misrepresented. He doesnt do enough in the actual books to dispel this myth (and we know he can given how he humanized the free folk). So you end up with fandom takes like "all dornish people are horny and polygamous and Elia was actually looking forward to her Rhaegar and Lyanna being the hottest new throuple in westeros".
2. People's inability to have a female character who is supposed to be a 'good person' go even slightly against a 'good male character'. Elia/Ashara are "good" women unlike evil bad Catelyn who doesnt like her husband humiliating her. Therefore Elia and Ashara who were sexy dornish people and good women unlike Catelyn would have been ok with raising their husbands illegitimate kids!
3. People not considering the context of the setting. Illegitimate children arent only personally humiliating for women theyre possibly a threat to any legitimate children she may have. Now if Ned had done the normal thing and had Jon fosterted elsewhere i doubt Catelyn would have cared (AS SHE STATES IN THE TEXT), but Ned's insistence on Jon staying at Winterfell with him, combined with Ned's secrecy over his mother probably had Catelyn worrying. Inheritence laws arent set in stone around Westeros (as we see in House of the Dragon, and in the succession crisis after Cregan Stark's death) and if Ned openly prefers his illegitimate son to his legitimate children shes got a big problem. It probably moved from a more political embarassment/worry for Catelyn to personal hurt as she fell in love with Ned which is why when we see her in the series the concerns seem to have mixed together.
I'll note the context is totally different around the illegitimate children women have. Try to argue that Catelyn should have been able to have an illegitimate child and force Ned into staying in the same house as them and people would be shitting and crying and throwing up and foaming at the mouth.
tl;dr misogyny - women dont get to care that their husbands have illegitimate children becuase only men can do that. Also racism - brown people are sexually deviant temptors there for our amusement.
oh ALSO if youre one of those freaks who act like 14th century clergymen and actually try to argue that children born out of wedlock are inherently bad get the hell off my post

Star Wars Movie Pride Headcanons
Obviously I can't do all the characters in Star Wars (movies or otherwise) so today I'll start with just the movie characters I find important or just fun!
Of course, these are just my opinions and it's totally cool if you have different ideas. Art is subjective and there are plenty of ways to engage with said art. This is just for my personal fun.
Luke Skywalker (he/him): Bisexual
I know people like Gay!Luke and that's totally fine, but... I just think of Legends!Luke and his wonderful wife Mara Jade, and I think Luke Skywalker is a man who can appreciate both Mara Jade and Ezra Bridger! Would be open to polyamory if it was like a throuple situation and everybody loved everybody.
Leia Organa (she/her): Bisexual
Now, I know the Leia book says she only likes humanoid males, but as someone who had a crush on both twins growing up, this headcanon is for me personally.
Han Solo (he/him): Bisexual
Okay, so most of these are going to be bisexual because I'm a stupid bisexual and I said so. Han Solo would flirt with anyone in the galaxy, including but not limited to Qi'ra, Lando Calrissian, Leia Organa, and Luke Skywalker.
Chewbacca (he/him): Ally (?)
Idk, tbh. He's got a wife and kid, and I think he thinks gay people are neat.
C-3PO and R2D2: Queer-platonic
They're droids and even though I do think droids can develop attraction like bio-species, I don't think these droids feel any attraction. Doesn't mean they don't have chemistry with each other though.
Lando Calrissian (he/they): Pansexual
He fucks. Everybody. I think Lando would be hand-wavy about gender. Most people use he/him with Lando, but they also enjoy they/them pronouns. Totally chill with polyamory.
Obi-Wan Kenobi (he/him): Graysexual
I really don't think this man knew he could have attraction until he met Satine Kryze. He just didn't think about it. It's not important. He probably scoffed at people who had issues following the Jedi Code. "What, like it's hard??"
Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader (he/him): Hetero-flexible
My man loves his wife (to quite an extreme degree actually). He's pretty sure he's straight? He's never thought of anybody but Padmé so it's not like he's really explored more. He wouldn't be opposed to dating men or other genders, though.
Wilhuff Tarkin (he/him): mlm
The only reason I'm including him on my list is because it's actually canon. He likes men. That's all I know on that front. I just had to include it because I was flabbergasted.
Yoda (he/him): Aro/Ace
All Yoda knows is talk funny, eat hot chip, and lie. (but actually he's a very wise master and mentor who loves his students and loves pulling a prank or two).
Padmé Naberrie/Amidala (she/her): Ally
Padmé loves her friends and family. She'd defend them with her life. I don't think homophobia exists in most areas of the SW universe, but if there was ever a time her friends felt marginalized, she'd be there to defend them. Whether that required just a simple talk, all the way to "aggressive negotiations."
Qui-Gon Jinn (he/him): Asexual
He feels like he could like somebody in a romantic sense. I don't think he'd hold on too heavily to the Jedi Code either. He just doesn't have the time. He's also never really wanted the sexual aspects of a relationship. I bet he gave all his Padawans "the talk" though.
Mace Windu(he/him): Aro/Ace
...and judgmental about it. Very sex-repulsed. He's not homophobic. He hates all PDA equally. Don't kiss in front of him. He will gag.
Rey (she/her): Pansexual
She just has a whole lotta love to give. :)
Finn (he/him): Bisexual
Rey's really hot. Poe's really hot. Why is everyone so hot???
Poe Dameron (he/him): Gay
Gay. Gay. Homosexual. Gay. (This is for Oscar Isaac. Luv u bby 😘) Poe looked at Finn like he was the first drop of water in the desert. And I think that's beautiful.
Rose Tico (she/her): Queer. Non-Binary.
Rose knows who she likes. She doesn't need a label to save what she loves. I think she still likes she/her pronouns, but doesn't necessarily like the label "woman."

Argenta's canon romance is with Arueshalae, and i like it very much, it's very sweet, especially on Azata's path 🥰🦋And is thematically fitting with Argenta's story arc (and also approved by Aivu! :D). And the therapeutic conversations with Arue were nice!
Bu-u-ut Woljif's romance from mod is AAAAA, i absolutely love it! Also ace Woljif ftw! That was my headcanon for him, and i adore romances with options fo ace protagonists (and ace LIs), even if my Commander is allo. The writing is very in-character and we get even more cute Woljif (with a tiny drop of angst here and there). To be honest, if his romance was aviable from the beginning, Argenta would have romanced only him 😅 But since he arrived a liiiittle later, Argenta has both Arue and Woljif as LIs (thank you, Toybox), and i am still figuring out their dynamic, because Commander/Daeran/Woljif is somewhat popular throuple and has great chemistry, but Arueshalae/Commander/Woljif is... uncharted waters.
(Also honorary mention goes to Daeran romance. Haven't played with it personally, but have seen and heard many cool things about it! And in terms of writing and content it's probably the most fulfilling one. It's just not for my Commander))

Azata! Azata all the way, and there could be no other path! I am just weak for the ragtag teams of misfits, pretty nature and magic of friendship, ok? It also makes The Fifth Crusade a little less grim, and that's nice. Argenta is the world's Gloomiest Azata (tm), and it's hilarious XD

There is a lot of banters that i like, but Woljif and Ember's take the cake, i think:
Woljif: I used to think that being weird like you meant being alone. But… lots of folk like you here.
Ember: Let's be weird together! And then you'll never be alone.
Woljif: You're just as dumb as you've always been… but I'm not embarrassed to be seen talkin' to you anymore. Actually the opposite, I'm embarrassed I turned my back on you. And now I've got this weird ache inside.
Ember: I'm happy it hurts, that means your heart that froze from loneliness is starting to thaw. (yep, the same one :3)
Also Ember's banters in general. Both creepy and cute parts. Especially with Greybor <3
Ember: Greybor, are you there? I was sent to tell you that supper's ready… Why are you looking at me like that? Are you sick? Does something hurt?"
Greybor: Run along, Morah… I mean, Ember, go on. I… I'll be there now.
Ember: …I totally forgot the song… what did papa sing again? The little lamb ran away, lost in the lowlands a night and a day, tell me where my little lamb's gone, and I will lead him all the way home…
Greybor: The next part is something about how there's water and hay waiting for the lamb back on the farm. I once had to sing about that blasted lamb twenty times in a row… and she still wouldn't fall asleep. No, she didn't… she just kept watching me and laughing…

harrykim - ok ok so this one takes place in the universe where kim transfers to precinct 47 and he and harry live together in some rundown apartment in jamrock. when they're away from each other, it's only because one of them has to do errands/has different work than the other.
kim deals with his yearning by thinking of what harry would do--what seemingly insane but endearing thing would the lieutenant double-yefreitor say (or what the voices tell him to say) about a fridge magnet shaped like a cockatiel, for example. he reels his imagination in when judit catches him having a long, partly sincere conversation about communism with it.
(he tells harry about it later--the other man, instead of laughing, nods sagely and replies that the revolution always begins with the birds)
(kim just nodded back. he wasn't rested enough to unpack all of that.)
harry YEARNS HARD. if he's at home, he'll lounge around and sigh forlornly. if he's in the office, he'll be at his desk and sigh even more forlornly and frequently. jean has had it up to HERE with shitkid's gay pining, and he's positively seething. harry is the very definition of "will wait for the other to come back".
he also does the thing of imagining what kim would do, but it's more of "kim would look SO cool while standing over this dead body" and "kim would NOT change clothes in the middle of a crime scene".
bill/holden - we really gotta get these guys a ship name. these are more or less for both them living together and working together.
they both would do some work to keep their minds off each other.
holden, who's all too familiar with paperwork, settles into the task without distraction. that doesn't mean he enjoys it, of course, but it's procedure at this point, and while he isn't a stickler for procedure, he knows bill is and if these documents aren't in order--goddamnit. so much for distraction. if bill is on a case elsewhere, holden spends the rest of the hour talking to him on the phone. if he isn't, holden burrows himself in their shared bed and tries not to appreciate the lingering smell of bill's detergent on the sheet.
bill knows all about leaving a spouse partner at home, but that doesn't make it any less hard. when he isn't calling holden and catching him up on the case he's working on, some parts to consult the younger agent, other parts to just hear his voice, he's getting holden little trinkets from wherever he is. keychains, fridge magnets--anything. i think his primary love language is gift giving and he doesn't realize it yet. he also smokes more when he isn't with holden; he only cut down around the man because he was conscious of the smell.
steddyhands - OK so this one is a throuple. takes place post s1, obv. we'll do it like what would one do when the other two are gone.
stede would pretend he's totally cool about it. his co captain and their first mate are elsewhere, you say? cool, cool. he totally isn't trying to play solo captain and look keep busy on deck, when in actuality he has no idea what the crew is doing, if anything at all. he is their captain, though, so they at least make an effort at feigning work. when olu very gently tells him he's kind of in the way of that, stede seems all the more adamant to stay.
by the time ed and izzy get back from whatever they were doing, nothing has been completed, the rigging looks like someone's first crochet project, and stede practically launches himself at them. izzy decides to leave the matter of their terrible rigging for another day; they'll be in port long enough for him to fix it, anyway.
ed, without his two voices of reason, slinks about the ship like a cat and causes relatively harmless mayhem wherever he goes. the crew love it--they're finally getting to hang out with the cool dad of the ship! there are times throughout the day, of course, where ed slips back into captain mode and tells them so and so needs to be done, but otherwise, it's a fuckin party when he's in charge.
ed's getting white in the whiskers, though, so he retires from the rum and knife throwing early (due, also, in no small part to his bad knee). izzy and stede find him in the captains' cabin, lounging languidly on the chaise and learning his letters. while izzy and stede get along much better now, there are still times when their individual neuroses grate on each other. ed is more than happy to relieve their stress (no, not fucking. his knee isn't good for that tonight. he'll probably read to them instead, maybe run his hands through their hairs).
izzy is as loyal a first mate as he is a dog. he isn't the life of the party like ed is, nor is he a useless obstruction like stede, so he goes the middle route of actually making sure the ship doesn't fucking sink under his supervision. thanks to his association with his captains, the crew regards him with something like tolerance. the feeling is mutual.
if he's a little crabbier than usual, it's definitely because he's been in the hot sun for hours upon hours, in leather no less. having been domesticated, he's not nearly as mean as he used to be, but he still has a lot of bark in him. he just calls the crew soft-bellied fucks thirty percent less.
everyone knows how much of a workaholic he is, but even this is too much. he's even starting to look sunburned, and faint. someone--lucius, probably--or hell, all of them, take him aside and tell him to cool it. they eventually worm a confession out of him, though lucius has to translate it into emotional speak for the rest of the crew: izzy copes with his loneliness by finding comfort in the rigid structure and rules of running a ship. (well, when it comes to the revenge...)
jim sympathizes with that; when olu is away, they tend to sharpen their knives until he gets back. the other couples of the crew jump in with their own lonely activities, and izzy takes it all in, just sitting cross-legged on the deck with them in a circle like they're in one of bonnet's stupid fucking group therapy sessions (he supposes, though, that that is what this is).
black pete confesses that he does his chores faster so he can be with lucius quicker.
"fuck off," izzy says, over lucius' honey sweet "babe!". the former sounds more like disbelief than anything else. not disbelief in that he's mad about that (a hasty swab won't burn down the ship), but disbelief that he isn't really alone in this. that it's completely normal.
the group is still there when ed and stede get back. the latter is positively delighted that izzy opened up to the rest of the crew, nevermind that the first mate didn't have a say in the matter. the former is smug, but just as happy as stede.
izzy needs at least a day of social recharging. he doesn't have the emotional batteries for this kind of thing.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH MUMBO MY BELOVED MY POOR MAN looking at the pictures of scar, wondering what could have been, reflecting on his lost past, HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE bless him. While also trying to keep this bird brain in check that he's fallen in love with, oh my god.
Scar's dad voice is everything to me, btw. It is *everything*. The fact that they're gonna have a throuple w scar in the future which means they're gonna also have a son and Mumbo is gonna get his familial life back? my heart is weak for this.
Also them just like. Dropping in on Scar? Because they happened to be in Aqua Town? Everything to me. Being careful with his secrets but still meeting with him in his place of business, being whisked through his home because first they needed somewhere more private to talk? BUT THEN SCAR JUST - LETTING THEM SEE HIS HOME???? I fall to my knees its so good. The wards everywhere? To protect his shop and his son? AHHHHH and yet here are Mumbo and Grian just inside, looking at everything
W H Y do I get the feeling you're going to use Grian's 'distracted by shiny things/bird brain' against us at some point. *squint*.
