I will forever be in love with the headcanon that Ben's tentacles/The Horror/Bentacles love Klaus.

They've had a mutual fascination with each other since the two boys were growing up. Maybe it's because Klaus was never scared of them, maybe it's because he knows Ben would never hurt him, or maybe he's intrigued by their ability to cause pain. Maybe it's just a tactile thing and he likes how they feel. Maybe it's sexual and he likes the taboo of it, fetishes them. Maybe he likes the risk and danger of being touched by a monster that's killed people.

And maybe the Horror likes that Klaus isn't afraid, likes that he's willing and eager to take what They give him. Maybe they understand that Klaus loves and accepts everything about Ben, including the Horror. Maybe the tentacles like coming out just to play, not cause destruction. Maybe they're lonely being trapped in the portal inside Ben all the time. Maybe they like being free to explore and touch the things that Ben gets to all the time. Maybe they want to feel something nice and gentle, not pain and suffering. Or maybe they still want to inflict pain, but in a different way. The type of pain that Klaus appreciates too.
