But i bring smexy new art (not much related to my Scorchedclaw AU but I've been busy with my own ocs)

I did a LOT more ref sheets and some headshots, i even have a toyhouse now so if you want to read more about them you can do so here!

As for why I've been gone, it's mostly due to my school work which has gone to shit recently and also because I was super pumped to edit my Toyhouse characters (it's a work in progress)

You can still expect dumps like this now and then tho, at least until I get more consistent again

Will scorchedclaw still become deputy and then leader?

In case you haven't noticed in making some things up as I go so nothing is certain but I think that she will become a leader! It probably won't happen at the same time like in canon (maybe sooner or later) but I think she has some good qualities that would make her a decent leader.

I'll think about it tho, her being the leader would make it convenient for me to pull some more outlandish things she couldn't get away with if she were just a warrior but at the same time having authority over her gives me a lot of plot device.

Let me just slide this over and then disappear again

I've been playing The road to immortality instead of drawing, it's super fun and I recommend it. Here's my character Newtstrike/Newtpaw

Like in the original playthrough she used to be a kittypet but was chased out of her home, however instead of being apprentice aged she's nearly an adult.

Despite being older she trains with Duskpaw, Badgerpaw and other apprentices to become a warrior like in the story but nearly at the end of her training becomes Blackheart's apprentice instead after finding out her real passion lies in healing rather than fighting.

The suffix of her name 'Newtstrike' stands for her fighting abilities, despite being a medicine cat she also has warrior training so when they visit moonpool, Newtstrike oftenly acts like Blackheart's bodyguard. When she's not busy she likes helping out in the camp and especially in the nursery, her only regret being that she can't have kits of her own.

And that's it, maybe I'll do more art featuring other characters from the game but we'll see. Also I've been thinking about there being a romance between Newtstrike and Blackheart (obviously after she gets her medicine cat name) because by the time she joins the clan she's a young adult and when she becomes his apprentice she's already the age of a warrior (one of the reasons I aged her up)

PS: on her first trip to the Moonpool, Newtpaw tripped and almost drowned. The first lesson Blackheart taught her was how to swim

How would Melon see Beastars! Scorch?

I'm sorry but I haven't read the manga :') all I know about Melon is that his design is neat and that he's kinda psychotic

I'll definitely update this ask when I find out more about him but I don't think they would get along since Scorch is not a fan of murderers and criminals

Oh also I don't think this AU is happening during the canon Beastars timeline so idk if there are any canon characters around. Eh this AU is mostly just me having fun so everything is possible
