First of, love ur art! its like amazing, second love ur Joel design but then I noticed that he had a robot arm and I have to ask why

As for the Joel design, it could be summed as "I thought it'd fit the aesthetic and look cool" but technically there's more than that.

So, after the Secret Life episode where it was the zombies vs warmbloods and Joel summoned a BUNCH of zombies, I wanted to make him zombiefied. Just a bit yknow. So I ended up giving him a zombie arm.

Then when Joel got this season's design, I figured zombie doesn't really fit, so I decided to replace the zombie bits with cybernetics.

I'm not actually sure if I want to keep the zombie bits in my usual design, but that was the thought process!
