#Repost @sun.yi : What’s your 5 year plan? I used to ask that in job interviews all the time. I thought that’s what you’re supposed to do. Until I realized, I NEVER had a 5 year plan! I always made up some bullshit answer. I didn’t know where I was gonna be in 5 years. I just gave 100% to whatever was in front of me. It always created new path to more exciting opportunities. But every time I watch some YouTube video that tells me I need a goal and a plan to get there, I get major FOMO. I get excited and start writing down my goals and milestones. Then a few months in I get bored because I’ve created a prison in my life. Rather than focusing on your goals, create daily process that will help you get there. And just focus on today by giving it 100%. Stop worrying about the goal because your path might change. Life is full of unexpected obstacles as well as pleasant surprises. It’s an exciting adventure.
