I can't believe it's already October. Why is time simultaneously going so fast and so slow??

Friendly reminder that you don’t have to wait until the weekends to live and enjoy your life. Go to your favorite coffee shop after school, call your friend, bake cookies on a Wednesday afternoon, dance around in your underwear. Your life is yours to live and you shouldn’t put it on hold because of work or school.

aaa did you took that straight out of my mind? 

when I was in high school a comment I got very often was that I should get used to long classes and long exams because that’s what university is like but now with online classes more ppl realized that we can not concentrate on a screen for so long and the thing is maybe it’s not only a screen thing maybe 4 hour long classes are not healthy and maybe we do not learn as good with classes like that I am tired of education being a challenge and something you have to overcome education should be something nice something to enjoy and teaching should be as smooth as possible and not a way to make people stressed and sick just to let the best one survive

korean journal 2018 - week 1 // 

first week done in my korean journal! and i managed to write everday! it‘s very fun and i learned some new words and grammar patterns. i hope someday i can write faster and more without thinking about it for a long time. 화이팅!

For the first time in a while I was able to study outside! The sky was so pretty but damn it was such a hot day. Happily I found a shadow spot under a beautiful tree. There was a lot of different shadows of green in that tree and that reminded me of namjoon’s paint from the last In the Soop episode (:   I spent hours reading about psychoanalysis for this week’s lesson but I couldn’t finish the book. I got frustrated but It’s ok I know I did my best. It was a great way of starting the week! Hope you all are feeling productive too.

oh I wish I could... a girl can dream. 

taking a few days off from uni and enjoying books that i'd never had time to read

sadly capitalism tell us otherwise so it’s hard to practice slow living ):

it’s ok to do things slowly. work for days on a single drawing, then don’t show it to anyone. learn three new words of a new language each day. read a book slowly and thoughtfully, enjoying every sentence like it were a movie. absorb new knowledge with intent and ease it into your memory. notice all the quiet sounds in songs. walk slowly and notice the sounds of birds and colors of leaves. it’s not bad to slow down and enjoy the moment. there’s no need to rush.

this week has been challenging! I had almost 300 pages of reading and 21 hours of online classes but I managed it quite well - besides almost having a mental breakdown. I’m so greatful the weekend has finally arrived <3 Sadly I have a lot readings to do for next week too, so I will try starting some of them ): And I’ll try to read some Works by Lacan that i’ve been procastinating to read. Why is Lacan so hard to understand?? Now I’ll finally be able to catch up with the last In The Soop episode, i’m excited!!!!  Hope yall have a great weekend! :3

*yey* i’m actually starting a studyblr

I have this accout for a while now, but I wasn’t very excited about posting anything. But I’ve been needing some motivation for studying, so here we go.  - hi (: my name is giovana, but you can call me gio.

- brazilian 

- i’m studying psychology on college, I’m in my 2nd year (out of 5 years of graduation)

- INFJ and also a capricorn  >_< 

- i’m also interested in cats, books and BTS ofc

- lately i’ve been casually studying korean as my third language (1st one is portuguese), but I’m also interested on learning spanish.

- my main reason for starting this studyblr is to find some study friends to help me keep motivated and to (maybe) help someone out there as well.

- this semester i’m taking 9 (full) online classes and it has been sooo tiring, so i’m trying something new - this is my first time in a while being active on social media - * i’m excited! * 

ps: also, my url name is my cat’s nickname  XD his name is Aslan - as the Narnia character - but we think is very funny calling him by the weirdest nicknames lol
