The ring I used to propose was a high quality replica of galadriel's ring from the lord of the rings(based on the book description and complete with matching leafy wedding bands for each of us). Muuuuch cheaper than a standard engagement ring and also a hell of a lot more personal. LOTR was one of the things that brought us together ;) I'll never understand paying so much for a ring, when you could use that money towards starting a life together.

I had no idea what you were talking about for a minute so I had to go scroll back and see what my queue had spit out this time. lol But yes. It’s silly. And now my ring is sitting in a safe for some reason. I should sell it. It feels weird though… not because I’m attached to it or bc I think there’s a snowball’s chance in hell of us getting back together, it just feels… awkward. Like I don’t know if it’s ethically appropriate? Then again part of me says even if it isn’t, he owes me a lot more than a ring for what I went through. lol Hmm… wonder what I could get for it.

I think mom or grandma once told me i should keep it for bella, but… why would she want a ring from a failed marriage???
