So Tumblr will notify openAi and Midjourney that you wish your posts to not be used and it’s entirely up to them to comply or not. And as we know, we are talking about some of the less ethical companies on the internet (which honestly is kind of a feat), so that cute little setting will most than probably do nothing and less.

Parsnip has come to enjoy the allotment. He diligently positions himself on every piece of weed proof membrane I put down (I think because he thinks it is similar to me putting a blanket/settle mat down and he will get snacks).

He also paws at every stick I pick up, not because he wants them (if I drop them he seems confused) but I think just because he wants to be involved and receive attention

Doggust day 3: Xoloitzcuintle (sholo-itz-queent-lee), an ancient Mexican hairless breed with evidence of its existence dating back 3500 years and named for Xolotl, the Aztec guide for the dead ☠️

I love this breed, the coated ones that occur are especially fascinating to me. Also, in my reading about them this is a really interesting bit of research: Pre-Columbian origins of Native American dog breeds, with only limited replacement by European dogs, confirmed by mtDNA analysis (2013)

ended up doing two dalmatians (did the one wearing the lovely unicorn haqihana harness cos while I always feel strange endorsing *products* the fit and softness of it has made such a massive diff to my sweet rescue pup with chronic pain issues)

I think the move by much of social media towards encouraging videos for reach is very tiring but this is the first sort of instagram reel thing I have attempted to post in over a year and I wanted to share it because:

1) I think it’s neat

2) I love to share a little Yasuaki Shimizu noise

and 3) I drew this and recorded it while I was feeling unwell and basically nonverbal in bed and made the decision to do both of these things because it is what pleased me at the time (you will be delighted to know I also drew some things I have not shared or recorded) and it is great, to me, for this to stand as something that I did simply because I deeply desired to. It is wonderful to still find nourishment in creating when creating is also Work
