well fuck me sideways and shove me into a meatgrinder because apparently youtube fucking lied
the aviation video i just posted? the one my dad made? it got blocked.
it was completely fine when he uploaded it. there was only one or two songs that he removed BECAUSE of copyright block. but now all of a sudden nearly every song has some kind of block on it with some to even block it from the US.
what the fuck, youtube?

you know what? i'm tired of "the nutcraker" plays literally every christmas time that ever school just HAS to play.
i wanna see more plays that are a reenactment of the christmas truce of 1914. let me see the christmas day when soldiers in the western front during ww1 ceased fire and both sides celebrated christmas in peace. hell, let the play choir do their own cover of sabaton's "christmas truce" if they want because god dammit it's a good song a perfectly captures the real historical event in musical form.

everybody saying that they'd still be "average" even with all the advancements but nobody is talking about humanity making themselves below average in the attempt to spite the aliens.
"oh, yeah. a long time ago we told humans that they were pretty average in terms of intelligence and technology. not a bad thing, not at all. but they got mad and tried to be better than that. now their planet in inhospitable and their nuclear space-faring weapon's make it near impossible to even get close to them. so, like, they just screwed themselves over because we told them they weren't the best."
Turns out that humans are painfully average compared to the rest of the galaxy. This fact is so embarasssing that humanity starts rapidly advancing technologically just to show those aliens who’s boss.
