jophiel "jo"
Tumblr media
She's not her brother's keeper, but she is the first to put him in his place.
Running a downtown bar, Jo doesn't need anyone to hold her hand. Just as she can handle her alcohol, she can handle her own business without anyone stepping in. Quick to call someone out on their bullshit, she also does have a softer side. When someone truly, desperately, needs help, she's usually the one to offer aid. Afterall, she does have a reserved room in the back of her bar for such people. As quick to help a friend, yet quicker to break someone's back over a table.
Her attitude could be that she's a Heavenly angel, or it could be that she's the other side of Percy's soul - the much more fierce one. Even with her grace, she left Heaven long ago. Her concern was with humans, and keeping her brother in check. Not once has she ever regretted it.

father elias asher
Tumblr media
With a troubling past of having served in the U.S. Army, Elias came to California to serve God and spread the holy message. He runs a small church as a priest with little else to his name other than a short-lasting marriage.
Elias is a kind, gentle man. Patient with everyone, one might have never assumed he could have been a soldier. Even his church is ran as such - with love, patience, and preachings of equality. Traumas from the Army had made him this way. Never wanting to hurt anyone without reason like the military taught, he hopes his church can spread the love he was without for a good majority of his life.

atty. percival "percy" regulus

An angel only falls so far from Heaven.
Percy is on the run from his past - especially the heavenly one. Being accused of being The Antichrist from an early age and witnessing how desperately his father tried to keep him safe, he became determined to soothe the world of its monstrosities. His skin can only hold so many scars, and his soul carries much more.
As a criminal defense attorney, Percy hears plenty of stories. And each one of them, he can tell if they're true or not. Only does he take on the people who are the real victims of the crimes they are accused of - having had experienced plenty himself.
At the end of the day, though, he retires to the bar. It's easier for him to drink away his troubles than it is to face them head-on. As the emotional side of the law, one might think he would learn to take care of himself as he takes care of his clients. But, the bottom of the bottle knows his deepest, darkest secrets. And he wants to keep it that way.

atty. christopher jason

Although he seems quick to anger, Christopher really is peaceful within himself. Had he not became a lawyer, he might have gone for being an artist or stuck to his dancing career.
Coming from a wealthy background, he has had a pretty easy life as far as anyone can tell. His parents paid for law school, and even when he became an Atheist and came out as homosexual, they continued to love and support him. Sundays, he goes to lunch with them after they attend church. Any other day, he might give them a quick call and keep them in the loop of his life.
He studies things from afar, watching them take place to see if there are better ways to go about any stressful situation. Christopher is the factual side of law, not the emotional. He can take the facts, bend them, and fit them into how they really should be portrayed.
Having a rough history with the attorney Percival "Percy" Regulus, he might come across as cold or unforgiving. In truth, he's in pain at the sight of the man he once called more than a coworker.
Nowadays, Christopher resents becoming a lawyer. It would be easier for him to throw it all away. But, he sticks around. Even if he doesn't do it for himself, he does it for Percy. Someone has to keep an eye on that man anyway.

last year, february 2020, i ran away from a toxic situation. i fled to the other side of the country in hopes the pain would stop. it didn't. however, that was because i just expected it to stop without changing myself too. after months of getting back on my feet, i started on a book to help cope with my life. since then, i've gotten so much happier. i have two cats, a loving spouse, a healthy home, a baby on the way, and two books finally published.
i never thought i would get this far. i thought i would sooner die before i would ever be able to smile. now, i can say i'm proud of who i am and proud of who i will continue to grow into.
this book has not only changed who i am as a person, but has inspired me to keep pursuing what i want in life. i hope it can do the same for any and all readers. 2021, the book is released, and i'm hoping it will touch the souls of many others as it had done for myself.
introducing: IMPENITENCE. a story of recovery, desperation, and overcoming traumas and the toxicity in oneself.

"Years of accusations can lead differently: one being that a man becomes what he is accused of, or he fights to be his own self. In the face of a string of murders by the police-named ‘The Ten Commandments Killer’, the Antichrist finds himself in the midst of it all. Conflicts of interest arise, lives are taken, and Heaven stands to the side. Now the Antichrist has to make a decision: truly care for others, or keep to himself as he’s grown used to. But, even evil can have a soft spot."
