“Reality doesn’t impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls.”

How to be that girl
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A guide on how to get your life together because you probably need it. xo
Be independent and confident. Don't hold onto people who drain your energy; confront them or cut them off. Don't let them waste your time, babe.
Be your main priority. Take care of your mind, energy, mental health, and body. Work out, eat healthy food, meditate, read and do what's best for you. Become your own best friend and take care of yourself.
Pretty people are always kind. Be nice, compliment people on small things that you notice, and be uplifting and supportive. I've never met a mean, pretty person.
Jealousy is a disease. Take inspo from people who have what you want, look up to them, and learn.
Let people know you're there. Share your thoughts, be funny, don't take yourself too seriously, be open-minded and be as present as you can be. Don't hide; it's time for you to shine, sweety.
Stop Overthinking. Focus on the present and stop thinking about what has been; what has happened is already over. You cant change it. Live in the moment. Thinking too much will just make you feel worse.
Have a morning/night routine. It's fun, and it makes you feel good.
Stop caring. People's opinions shouldn't matter to you. You like that outfit? Wear it. You want to eat? Eat. You like pink more than blue? Own it. fuck other people xoxo.
Have a signature... scent, nail color, hairstyle, make-up look (like red lipstick or a strong eyeliner), accessory...

Stop trying to fit a circle into a square. You're so concerned trying to get people who don't have the same values as you to see your vision of life and being disappointed when they do not reciprocate it.
Understand that your life experiences are unique and they have shaped in ways they haven't others. Instead of trying so hard to try to get others into a similar state of mind, instead of forcing interactions with people with different values and outlooks of life, simply remove yourself from those circles and position yourself in circles and spaces where the kind of people that will match your energy and interests are. This might take you a long time, but it is much better to be alone for a period of time and put in the work to align yourself with high quality people eventually, than to waste your time and energy with bad company.

Re: Pink Pilates Princess
Hi! I'm more or less in a similar situation, what I do is use some pilates workouts on YouTube (my fav is Bailey Brown) & Daisy Keech's abs workout and alternate that with some dance/Zumba workouts so it's not that boring. Also Lazy Dancer Tips' Ballet Cardio workout is a good start!
When it comes to food, since I don't get to choose that much about lunch/dinner I always try to have a healthy breakfast (basic smoothies such as banana+spinach+apple/mango, or fruit+yogurt+cereals/toast kind of combo w green tea) and have fruit as snacks (small fruits/fruits cut into little bites are the best, especially if frozen!)
From time to time I'll buy myself some face mask and whenever possible some skincare product that I can safely implement into my skincare routine. My basics are toner+moisturizer, lip balm & obviously sunscreen (better if it has vitamin c!).
This concept also implies taking care of your mind; find interesting journal prompts in Pinterest and write them on a Google doc. Write 5 things you're thankful for every morning in general terms & every night for what happened that day, focus on the little things.
Learn new things, borrow books from the library, join free courses on Coursera/edX, watch a TedTalk, find new musicians to love, nurture/make healthy friendships.
Also what helps a lot is making a daily schedule to work towards whatever goals you have that you find easy to follow & tracking your goals weekly+monthly.
Hope it helps! ✨
omg thank you sm <3
this just gave me a ton of motivation!

i’ve just realized how much i really don’t desire friendships anymore. i’d rather be alone an not have to worry about the status of our friendship every five minutes. i only find real peace when i am in solitude. i am my own safe haven. i wished i would’ve realized this sooner. could’ve saved myself a whole lot of fucking trauma.
