Why is it that the buzz around the Central World Kitchen massacre lasted so long it practically drowned out everything else, but the ongoing, daily attacks on the Palestine Red Crescent Society don’t get any coverage? Israeli settlers have not stopped at Ramallah, the attack from a few days ago that injured multiple Palestinians; now they’ve moved on to al-Mughayir, a village near it, and the injuries coming out of that are equally barbaric. But it’s not just normal individuals they’re attacking—they’re opening fire on paramedics trying to reach those wounded too.

At first I was like 'rooms are rectangular prisms' so I was wondering where the height was. However, to answer this, you first have to pick apart the question: A rectangular room has one side length of 6 feet, and one side length of 12 feet. What is the area of the room in square inches?

Starting off with the blue- it's a rectangular room. We are working with a room in 2D (not 3D). Disregarding the creatures that live in a 2D world and the state of existence, we have a rectangular room. Great! Now with the green, the room is 6 ft by 12 ft. Area is the product of length and width so we have everything we need! But not yet! As noted in orange, the answer has to be in square inches, which means there's a conversion involved. Compiling it all together, we get this: length = 12 [ft] * 12 [in / ft] = 12*12 [ft * in / ft] = 144 [in] ______________ | | | | width = 6 [ft] * 12 [in / ft] = 6*12 [ft * in / ft] = 72 [in] |_____________| Area = length * width = 144 [in] * 72 [in] = 144 * 72 [in * in] = 10368 in^2 (square inches) Now a 3D room is where it'll get interesting, but that's for another poll (one that will have more incorrect answers lol)

my vision for more worf content comes in the form of a post-ds9 series that's like expanding on ezri's iconic takedown of the klingon empire, so really a klingon-centric political drama around the turning point they find themselves at at the end of the dominion war. worf and martok would only be one plot thread cause we'd also follow lower ranking soldiers in the imperial fleet, a-list celebrity opera singers in first city, farmers in the overlooked rural regions of qo'nos and other ordinary, everyday klingons, and it'd all weave together to form this picture of a civilisation dependent on war, in the immediate aftermath of the most devastating war in centuries. the fleet is decimated, countless lives lost, and they've fought side by side with not just the federation but the romulans for the first time in history - where do they go from here? there'd be a strong call to double down on rebuilding ships, recruiting new warriors, but would this not also be thee moment for a peace movement in the empire, if there ever would be one? for a people once hungry for war to decide they've had their fill of it? and worf as federation ambassador would be a key piece of the picture bc it'd be crucial after the dominion were defeated to solidify the allegiance between empire and federation into a stronger treaty (since gowron broke the last one), and the idea of peace as a 'federation ideal' would be a real source of tension for any klingons trying to broach the idea of demilitarisation. overall the picture of an imperial force dependent on violence for so long facing the prospect of peace and the question of who the klingons might be without war is such a fascinating prospect to me and i have not stopped thinking about it, ever.

I tried it- I mixed some things up for the dough part. I added the milk to the butter-chamomile mix in the pot and did the instruction as if that was the way (instead of doing the milk-chamomile separate). I don't think this affected anything. I realized I did not have a grater, so I tried (not too successfully) to use a bread knife to 'zest' the lemon. Eh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It took me about 50 mins to bake to completion, unlike the 30-40 mentioned. But then, I just used a random squareish glass cookware thing for baking and the recipe-maker might have been using a bigger pan. The frosting- nope. Nuh uh. Wrong proportions, it came out dry and chunky as a crumble. I had to add more lemon juice (not recommended if you're not a fan of sour) and a bit of water to get it to mix into a frosting consistency. I suggest crushing the freeze-dried strawberries in a sealed bag with a rolling pin before sifting the powder with the sieve. You will be left with seeds at the very very end, at which point it's useless to go on. I ate the seeds. Overall, the cake part was nice though I was told the frosting was sour (I liked it, my body probably wanted the vitamin C) Tldr; pleasant cake, use more liquid for frosting
