Quick reply again😭
So whatever you said is how I feel as well..I also want friends ngl like sometimes to chit chat. Have some fun. I have had only casual friends (the hi-bye and joking around kinda) so far, even that was so hard. I don't get myself attached to anyone lol
Also I think I had asked you if reader (in one of ur fics) is based on you?
I do listen to podcasts..not anymore though., im stuck with yt. I watch history TV 18 documentaries mostly (culture wise). For crime videos, it's yt.
Bro I wanted to do psychology so bad. But I'm so indecisive that I didn't choose anything and wasting an year at home :") I wanted to forensics but eh
It does feel nice to find someone who you feel comfortable chatting with, especially when they have the same interests as you. I hope you find them sooner or later ✌️
Ohh, I didn’t receive any ask about that :O And which one would that be? I just write the readers how I feel like it 😆 in reality, I’m actually really dry (no wonder I never dated anyone in 18 years of living) 🥲
Forensics is awesome too!! You should major in that if you’re interested 😄 A few of my friends also decided to skip a year too, some focusing on work first and some focusing on studying more for this year’s entrance exam. Soo no worries, you can do it!!

it’s best to have someone on your side but no conversation is needed, just silence, what do you think?
This is exactly what I want!!!! I hate being alone because I feel like all eyes are on me (I have valid reason to feel like this cyz everyone always pointed out about how I'm quiet and alone. Literally everyone. From teachers to classmates. Also being alone makes you an easy pick...been there hated it.)I don't like talking much unless we are super close. Having someone just..sitting there idly even is so comforting and relaxing 😭
Idk about you but it takes me hell lot of time to warm up to someone. No one's that understanding though
I love watching gore, thriller movies. I watch like a shit ton of documentary. my peculiar interests are also why I find it hard to connect with other girls. Being an intp (imo) is like a male trapped (considering our typical interests go with the male stereotype) in a female's body. Neither men nor women include us 😭😭.
I have ur notification on so tahts why i quick reply haaha
Ohh, I know that feeling… When you’re alone, you have this thought of how others would perceive you like, “look at that person, always alone” or something and start to assume that you got no friends at all 😭 Even though that’s not always the case, people like us just like being alone and interact less, a friend to sit next to us and stay in silence would make it a bit better for the sake of other people’s perception. Sooo yeah, I agree that the quiet kid tends to be the easy pick if your social surroundings aren’t as understanding 😮‍💨
For me it’s 50/50―I’m open to being friends with other people but when it comes to striking up a conversation… uh… nah, I’m not good at that at all. I just don’t know what to say/ask or I have no topics at all to continue comfortably with the other person if it doesn’t involve any of my interests 😭
That’s very interesting 👀 Thriller/horror movies are indeed exciting to watch, not into gore ‘cause I might get nauseous sksksk do you listen to podcasts on youtube/tv or…?

Fellow intp
I like being alone but people force me to socialize that now it gave me issues. Whenever I'm alone with no one by my side, I get anxiety attacks 😔 my story is sad girl.
Wish I had understanding friends (although I just wish people don't fucking bother me)
Omg I'm too much into horror/crime!!!
I could've replied in comments but got scared
You do need understanding friends who don’t force you to socialize if you don’t want to, and I hope you’ll meet them sooner or later because you deserve it 🫶
So sorry to know about those anxiety attacks, that must have felt horrible ☹️ Sometimes people feel like they’re lonely even though they do want to be alone, like me here 😅 Maybe it’s best to have someone on your side but no conversation is needed, just silence, what do you think? I’d love that actually 😆
Ohh, tell me more about your interest 👀 Maybe I can learn something new with you ✌️

You write so well. Do u think you could start a fluff series 👀 this site lacks fluff
Thank you 🫶 There is so many fluff around the fandom, but it definitely needs more, imo 😼 Fluffs are amazing as well.
The thing is, I actually do plan to write for a few series that I have in mind and are waiting to be written.
For now, I already have a fixed plan for two series: Gojo (college!au, fluff, hurt/comfort, angst) and Sukuna (mafia!au, angst, 18+). I’m so excited to get them started 😩

As a fellow intp, I have to know if you are almost anti-social or very selectively social or just people ignore you.
All of these 3 are me in different scenes😭
Also are u into crime stuff?
At some times, I could say the same, I think 😆 It’s mostly me getting drained interacting with people, even when only one person is talking to me, so I just avoid talking with anyone unless it’s needed. According to my friends, they understand that I’m a quiet, loner person who likes to distance myself from everyone despite my friendliness so they just leave me be sksksk I appreciate that tho, like, that is very considerate of you 🥹 I just like being alone hehe
And yes, I’m interested in watching or listening to documentaries or people narrating crime stories. How about you, annonie? ^^

You wake slowly, gradually becoming aware of the warm sunlight filtering through the curtains. As you blink open your eyes, the first thing you see is Gojo’s face just inches from yours. His eyes are soft and full of love as he gazes down at you.
“Happy birthday, cutie,” he murmurs, a smile spreading across his handsome features. He leans in and presses his lips to yours in a sweet, lingering kiss.
As you stretch and let out a small yawn, Gojo begins showering your face with little kisses. His lips graze your forehead, both cheeks, the tip of your nose, and finally land on your lips for a deeper, more passionate kiss. You can’t help but grin against his lips, feeling like the luckiest person in the world.
“Well, good morning to you too, Mr. Smooches,” you giggle as you reach out to caress his cheek.
He only grins before saying, “I wanted to be the first one to wish you a happy birthday.” His eyes shine with adoration as he gazes down at you, “and the first one to give you birthday appreciation.”
Your heart swells with affection. Gojo has always made you feel so cherished. Even on regular days, he is constantly showing you how much he cares through small affectionate gestures. But on your birthday, he is going above and beyond to make you feel extra special.
“Just bear with me for a moment, sweetheart. Stay still,” he says before positioning himself hovering over you.
“When have I not?” you lightheartedly said, which was returned by his feigned offended face, “Excuse me? I’m trying to be sweet for your sweet sixteen here,” he huffs.
“Alright, alright, you’re excused,” you run your fingers over his hair with a chuckle.
“Thank you,” he rolls his eyes playfully.
Gojo leans down and places a gentle kiss on your forehead, “one,” he counts. He moves to both of your cheeks, pecking each one softly, “two.”
You realize Gojo is counting each kiss, starting from one, to represent each year you are turning today. The significance and thought he put into this melts your heart.
Your nose is next, he nuzzles against yours before leaving a tiny kiss, “three.” You giggle as he tilts your chin up to reach it, “four,” he whispered, placing a dramatic smooch there.
Shivering, you feel his lips press behind each of your ears, “six.” Gojo nuzzled against your neck, kissing down with another count, “seven.” He moves down to kiss your collarbones, “eight.”
He slides his lips to your shoulder, “nine.” His fingers trail down to lift each of your wrists to his lips, “ten.” He lingers on your palms, “eleven.”
You inhale sharply as Gojo moves lower, pushing up your pajama pants to access your bare thighs and calves. He kisses each one gently. “Twelve… thirteen.”
Working back up your body, he lifts your shirt to place a lingering kiss on your stomach, “fourteen.” His fingers dance along your sides, making you squirm. Leaning down over your chest, he kisses between your breasts. “fifteen.”
Finally, Gojo cups your face, gazing into your eyes. “Sixteen,” he whispers. He presses his lips to yours in a slow, passionate kiss that makes your heart race. You melt into his embrace, feeling adored.
As you break apart, giggling, you cheekily say, “Wasn’t that twenty-three kisses total?”
Gojo shakes his head, insisting “Nope! It was sixteen―one for each of your sweet sixteen years!” You roll your eyes but can’t keep the delighted grin off your face.
“Aren’t you so sweet?” you pull him down for another kiss to express your gratitude.
“Not as sweet as you are right now,” he continues to pamper your face in kisses. It doesn’t seem like he’s going to stop any time soon.

【 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐄𝐒 𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓 𝐓𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄? 】
Tumblr media
You watched with morbid fascination as Geto swallowed yet another cursed spirit whole. His cheeks bulged for a moment as the swirling orb disappeared down his throat. With a final gulp, it was gone.
He let out a small sigh. He turned to you with a polite smile. “Apologies, you had to see that. I know it’s not very appetizing.”
You blinked, shaking off your stupor. “Oh, no, no, it’s okay! I was just… curious.”
And curious you were. You had always wondered about his bizarre cursed technique. How could someone so polished and soft-spoken have such a gruesome ability?
You hesitated, wondering if your question would seem rude. But he had promised to answer any queries you had about him with patience.
“What… what do they taste like?” you finally asked. “The cursed spirits, I mean.”
Geto blinked, looking briefly surprised by the question. But he quickly smoothed his features back into an amiable smile.
“I suppose the closest description would be a rag soaked in vomit and shit,” he replied candidly. “Quite revolting, as you can imagine.”
“Ugh.. well, that's disgusting…” you couldn’t suppress a grimace at the vivid description. “I don't know how you can stand ingesting those things.”
He just let out an amused chuckle. “It’s not very enjoyable, I admit. But it’s a small price to pay for power.”
You nodded thoughtfully. Morbid curiosity still burning, you pressed on with your questioning.
“So… how many cursed spirits can you hold at once?”
“Several hundred, though it becomes difficult to manage after a certain point,” he answered.
“And where do you… store them after swallowing?” You felt your cheeks grow warm. It was such an odd thing to have to ask but you can’t help the curiosity.
But he doesn’t seem to be bothered. “I use my cursed energy to contain them in―let’s just call it―a pocket dimension within my body. Think of it as a stomach specially designed to hold cursed spirits.”
He smiled wryly before continuing, “It takes some getting used to. I endured many stomachaches in my early days absorbing curses.”
“That sounds awful! Do you still get sick from it sometimes?”
He waved a hand reassuringly. “Not anymore, don’t worry. My body has adapted quite well by now.”
“Well, please let me know if you ever feel unwell. I’ll make you some ginger tea for your stomach.”
Geto’s gaze softened at your attentiveness. “You’re too kind. I promise I will.”
Glad he wasn’t pushing himself too hard, you moved on to your next question. “Do all the cursed spirits have a similar flavor, or are there differences?”
At this, Geto looked a bit blank before briefly thinking. “Hmm, that’s a good question. I must admit I haven’t pondered it too deeply since the experience is unpleasant regardless. But some do seem more pungent than others.”
He tapped his chin. “Perhaps it has to do with the strength of their curses. The stronger they are, the more noxious the taste.”
You grimaced again. “I guess that makes sense. I don’t envy your taste buds.”
“It’s an acquired tolerance, to be sure.”
Seeing he didn’t mind satisfying your morbid curiosity, you pressed on. “When you release the curses to use them in battle, do you actually… throw them up?”
Geto burst out laughing at this, catching you off guard. It was the first time you had heard him laugh so freely.
“Goodness, what a vivid imagination you have,” he chuckled, mirth dancing in his eyes. “But no, I simply summon them from the dimensional pocket in my body. No need for such uncouth regurgitation.”
You felt your cheeks warm up again. “Oh, right, that makes more sense.” You giggled sheepishly at your foolish assumption.
He regards you warmly, “I don’t mind the questions, truly. It’s rather amusing since no one has ever asked such things before.”
You ducked your head, embarrassed but also pleased to glimpse this more casual, relaxed side of Geto. He was always so poised and formal.
Still, you had one final question lingering in your mind. “This might sound silly but… have you ever tried eating or drinking something tasty right after? You know, to get rid of the bad taste?”
“I can’t say I have… The thought never occurred to me.” He paused. “Perhaps a strong mint or ginger would help overwrite the unpleasant flavor.”
You tapped your fist into your palm excitedly. “Ohhh, I know! I’ll bring you candies or baked goods to eat after your next mission. Something sweet to counter all those nasty curses.”
Geto stared at you wordlessly. For a moment you worried you had offended him with your foolish suggestion. But then he threw his head back and laughed, full-bellied and gleeful. The rich, melodic sound made your heart skip a beat.
“You’re very considerate,” he finally said, wiping his eyes. “Offering sweets to improve the palatability of consuming cursed spirits―what a positively whimsical notion.”
He reached out and took your hand, bestowing a soft kiss on your knuckles. “While you don’t need to trouble yourself, I would never turn down a gift from your kind heart.”
You could only smile bashfully at his gesture. You knew his cursed technique troubled him at times, soured his pure visions. But it seemed even discussing the darker parts of his abilities didn’t dampen his spirits today.
Geto makes you feel safe to be curious.

【 𝐆𝐎𝐉𝐎 (𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘) 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐀𝐒𝐒 】

You felt a sharp smack on your ass as you stood at the kitchen counter making your morning coffee. Nearly sloshing your creamer all over the place, you turned and gave Gojo an exasperated look.
“Really?” you sighed.
He stood there, grinning unapologetically. “I can’t help it! Your butt is just so cute and round, like a little peach.” To emphasize his point, he gave your ass another hearty squeeze.
You rolled your eyes, unable to stop a small chuckle from escaping. Gojo had always found enjoyment when it came to grabbing your rear end. Ever since you started dating, he took immense joy in smacking, squeezing, or groping your ass at any given opportunity.
At first, it flustered and embarrassed you. But now, after nearly a year together, you were used to his playful antics.
Mostly, you found it endearing―when he wasn’t going overboard, that is.
After doctoring up your coffee, you crossed to the small kitchen table and sat down to enjoy your breakfast. Gojo’s long fingers immediately crept under the back of your chair, finding and pinching your ass. You jumped, nearly choking on your coffee.
“Satoru!” you scolded.
He laughed, clearly delighting in having caught you off guard. “Sorry, baby~ I just can’t resist! Your butt is so tempting.”
You fixed him with your best withering look, which only made him grin wider. With a dramatic sigh, you went back to sipping your coffee and reading the news on your phone.
After cleaning up from breakfast, you decided to be productive and tidy up the living room. You began dusting the shelves and surfaces, pointedly ignoring Gojo sitting on the couch behind you.
You were bent over wiping down the TV stand when you felt a sharp smack on your ass. You stood up swiftly, whirling around to face your snickering boyfriend.
“Satoru! Enough already!” you huffed.
“Sorry, I just couldn't stop myself,” he claimed innocently. “You were bent over right in front of me, it was too perfect to pass up.”
Despite your exasperation, you couldn’t help but let out a laugh. “You are terrible.”
Gojo grinned, completely unrepentant. He patted his knee in an invitation. “Come here and sit with me.”
You eyed him warily. “So you can grope my butt some more?”
“Maybe,” he smirked. Still, you found yourself settling onto his lap. His arms wrapped around you as you leaned into his chest.
“You know, I just love you so much, I can’t keep my hands off you,” Gojo murmured into your hair.
“Of course I know that. And I don’t really mind. Just maybe tone it down a little in public, please?”
Gojo let out a chuckle, “I’ll try, but no promises. Your butt is just too glorious not to be appreciated whenever possible.”
To emphasize his point, his hand drifted down to squeeze your ass again. You yelped in surprise, then dissolved into giggles.
After a lazy morning cuddling on the couch, you stood up and announced you were going to take a shower. As you walked away, you paused and looked over your shoulder.
“Don’t even think about it,” you warned, seeing him poised to strike.
He put his hands up innocently. “Wouldn’t dream of it, baby.”
You narrowed your eyes but continued to the bathroom. You took your time enjoying a long, hot shower, allowing the water to soothe away any tension. After toweling off, you slid into comfy housewear.
Walking back out into the living room toweling your hair dry, you didn’t see Gojo. You breathed a small sigh of relief, glad to have a reprieve from his antics.
You padded into the kitchen in search of a snack. Humming to yourself, you bent down to rifle through the fridge.
Suddenly, you felt two large hands squeeze your ass enthusiastically. You shrieked in surprise, bumping your head on the fridge shelf. Spinning around, you saw Gojo doubled over in laughter.
“Satoru! You scared me!” you scolded, though you were fighting back laughter yourself.
“I’m sorry! I couldn't resist with you bent over like that,” Gojo claimed between snickers.
You swatted his chest with the towel still in your hand. “That’s it, no more Ms. Nice Girlfriend. I’m going to get you back for this!”
“Oh, really? I’d like to see you try.”
You fixed him with your best menacing look. Though inside, you were turning over ideas for how to give him a taste of his own medicine.
The perfect opportunity arose that evening. You and Gojo were settling into bed after a lazy day spent lounging around the apartment. As you slid under the covers, a delightfully wicked idea came to you.
You rolled onto your side, turning your back to Gojo. After a few minutes, you felt the bed dip as he scooted closer to you. One of his arms wrapped around your waist in a spooning cuddle.
You held your breath, waiting for the opportune moment. When you felt his hand slide down to cup your bottom, you struck. In one swift movement, you whipped around and delivered a sharp smack to Gojo’s pajama-clad ass.
“Hey!” he yelped in surprise.
You collapsed into laughter at the shocked expression on his face. “Not so fun when you’re on the receiving end, is it?” you teased.
“I’ve created a monster!” His surprise morphed into an impressed grin. “But I have to admit, I liked it.” He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
“Don’t get too excited. That was payback for earlier.” Settling back down, you added, “But maybe I’ll spank you again if you behave yourself.”
“Oh, kinky~” Gojo barked out a delighted laugh and pulled you close. “I knew I loved you for a reason.” He nuzzled into your neck, his earlier antics temporarily forgotten.

【 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐌𝐄𝐆𝐔𝐌𝐈 】
Tumblr media
You pressed your hand gently against Megumi’s forehead, frowning at the intense heat radiating from his skin. His normally porcelain complexion was flushed pink across his cheeks, and his eyes were glassy and unfocused.
“Your fever still feels really high,” you murmured worriedly, brushing his dark bangs back from his face.
Megumi gave a small nod, the slightest grimace crossing his face at the movement. “I’ll be alright. Don't worry about me too much.” His voice was hoarse and lacked its usual composed strength.
You clicked your tongue disapprovingly. “Of course I’m going to worry when my boyfriend is sick. Now hush and let me take care of you.”
He opened his mouth as if to protest, but quickly shut it at the stern look you gave him. Even in his weakened state, he knew better than to argue with you when you had made up your mind.
You had only been dating Megumi for a few months, but you cherished every moment together. Beneath his stoic, aloof exterior lay a kind heart and fierce loyalty. And though he was always composed around others, you delighted in slowly coaxing him out of his shell.
While Megumi had initially been shy about intimacy, your patience and affection eventually helped him open up. You lived for the small smiles he would give you, the way his pale cheeks would flush when you complimented him. He was still easily flustered by overt shows of romance, but you found it hopelessly endearing.
Now, as you tenderly cared for your ailing boyfriend, you were reminded of just how vulnerable Megumi allowed himself to be with you. He obediently swallowed the medicine you gave him to bring down his fever, though he insisted he could feed himself the hot soup you had prepared.
You just smiled knowingly, recognizing the subtle, prideful streak in Megumi. Compromising, you allowed him to eat on his own but remained close by in case he needed assistance.
After eating what little he could manage, his energy was spent. You helped him change out of his sweat-dampened shirt into a fresh one, taking care not to look directly at his bare torso―though the tempting glimpse of smooth, toned muscle made your face grow warm.
Once he was settled back against his pillows, you placed a cool cloth across Megumi’s burning forehead. He released a small sigh of relief at the sensation.
“How are you feeling now?” you asked softly, gently sweeping his bangs off his face.
“A bit better, thanks to you,” he murmured.
Your heart fluttered at even that small, precious smile. “I’m glad. Try to rest, okay? I’ll be right here if you need anything.”
His eyes drifted closed, though you could tell he was still fighting off sleep. You began carding your fingers lightly through his hair, soothingly massaging his scalp. After several moments, his breathing grew slow and even, his body relaxing into much-needed sleep.
You gazed down at his peaceful sleeping face. Megumi worked so hard taking care of everyone else, but was reluctant to rely on others in return. It made you happy to be able to care for him while he was vulnerable, proving he could depend on you.
When he awoke a few hours later, the flush had faded from his cheeks somewhat. But upon seeing you sitting dutifully by his bedside, a new bloom of pink blossomed across his pale skin.
“You’re still here,” he murmured, sounding quietly surprised.
You gave him a soft smile. “Of course. I want to make sure you recover properly.”
You reached out to feel his forehead again. “Mmm, still a bit warm. Are you feeling any better though?”
“Yes, much better thanks to your diligent care,” he said again.
You grinned. “Well, aren’t you quite the flatterer when you’re sick and defenseless.”
His blush deepened at your playful ribbing. Even now, after months of dating, he was easily flustered by your affectionate attention.
“Here, you should eat a little more,” you said gently, handing him a bowl of rice porridge. “This will be easy on your stomach.”
Megumi accepted the bowl with quiet ‘thanks’ before picking up the spoon to feed himself again. After a few bites, however, his arm drifted down weakly to rest.
Wordlessly, you retrieved the spoon from his slender fingers. Scooping up a small amount of porridge, you brought it to his lips.
His eyes widened slightly, “I… I can manage,” he protested half-heartedly.
“Shh, just let me help,” you insisted with a smile. “What kind of partner would I be if I didn’t spoon-feed my sick darling?”
At the open display of affection, Megumi looked utterly flabbergasted. But he obediently parted his lips, allowing you to feed him the porridge.
You weren’t sure if the renewed flush to his cheeks was from embarrassment or his lingering fever―likely both. But you relished being able to care for him so tenderly.
Once he had eaten his fill, you helped settle him back against the pillows once more. As you gazed down at him, you couldn’t resist reaching out to caress his cheek.
“You’re going to spoil me rotten if you keep this up,” he murmured, though he nuzzled ever so slightly into your touch.
You smiled, heart brimming with love for this boy who tried so hard to hide his softer side from the world. “Good,” you whispered. “You deserve to be spoiled sometimes.”
His gaze softened, his hand coming up to cover yours against his cheek. The simple intimacy of the moment made your breath catch.
“Get some more rest,” you eventually managed, reluctantly pulling your hand back. Already you missed the warmth of his skin.
Megumi’s eyes drifted closed again, his body relaxing into the mattress. As you watched over his sleeping form, you hoped he knew just how much you cherished him.

∷ 𝙿𝙰𝙸𝚁𝙸𝙽𝙶 ⋯ Gojo Satoru x F!Reader
∷ 𝙲𝙾𝙽𝚃𝙴𝙽𝚃 ⋯ 2.2K // Fluff. Pet names (baby + angel).
∷ 𝚂𝚄𝙼𝙼𝙰𝚁𝚈 ⋯ He proposed to you in his dream, and when he wakes up, you’re officially his—to his confusion and delight.
Tumblr media
Gojo slowly blinked open his eyes, gradually emerging from the haze of sleep. He became aware of the warm weight pressed against his side and looked down to see you nestled close, head pillowed on his chest as you continued to slumber. A small, content smile pulled at his lips and he brushed his fingers through your hair, careful not to wake you.
As he admired you in repose, he noticed your hand resting over his heart, fingers loosely curled. The morning sunlight streaming in through the curtains caught on something shiny adorning your ring finger—a delicate band topped with a sparkling gemstone.
His brow furrowed slightly. He didn’t remember proposing, yet here you were wearing what could only be an engagement ring. Carefully, trying not to wake you, he lifted your hand to get a better look at the ring. It was a simple but elegant diamond solitaire on a silver band.
Definitely an engagement ring.
Gojo racked his brain, but he couldn’t recall buying it or asking you to marry him.
A feeling of panic started rising within him. How could he have proposed and not remember it? That didn’t make any sense.
He loved you more than anything, of course, he wanted to marry you someday. But he would never forget something so important.
He glanced back down at your sleeping face, now feeling utterly confused. Where did this ring come from? Did you somehow found out about the ring he hid and decided to just wear it? Or was this some kind of prank? None of the possibilities made sense.
Still puzzled, he sighed and softly set your hand back down and pressed a light kiss to your forehead before carefully extracting himself from your embrace.
You mumbled in your sleep and clutched at the spot he had vacated, making him smile fondly. He tucked the blankets more snugly around you before quietly slipping out of the bedroom.
In the kitchen, Gojo busied himself making tea with tons of sugar cubes and breakfast, all the while turning over the mystery of the ring in his mind. The sizzling of smoked beef and the aroma of fresh tea eventually lured you from bed.
You padded into the kitchen dressed in one of his t-shirts and wrapped your arms around him from behind. “Morning,” you murmured, pressing a kiss between his shoulder blades.
He turned in your embrace and noted the ring still prominently displayed on your finger. “Morning. Sleep well?”
You nodded and smiled up at him. “Like a rock. You?”
“Just fine.” He caresses your cheeks, letting his fingers trail along your jaw. “I couldn’t help but notice your ring this morning.”
“Huh?”
“Where did you get that ring?” he asked.
Your brow furrowed. “What ring?”
Gojo lifted your hand, displaying the diamond ring for you to see.
“Oh…” you finally realize what he’s talking about, softening your eyes as you gaze at the ring. “It’s beautiful, isn’t it?”
“It certainly is. Now, would you mind reminding me when I gave it to you? My memory is a little fuzzy on the details.”
Your eyes widen in surprise. “You mean… you don’t remember proposing to me?”
He shook his head apologetically and laughed somewhat nervously. “I wish I could say I did. I think I’d remember proposing to you.”
You just stare him for a long moment before you dropped your gaze. “I see,” you said quietly.
Immediately, Gojo tilted your chin back up with a knuckle under your jaw. “Hey, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to upset you, baby. I just… I want to remember something as important as asking you to marry me, and it’s bothering me that I can’t.” He caresses your cheek ever so gently. “Talk to me. Help me fill in the blanks?”
You stare down at the glittering diamond on your finger, a slight pang in your chest at the realization that he doesn’t remember proposing to you. You take a deep breath and offer him a comforting smile.
“It’s okay that you don’t remember,” you say gently. “I know you’ve been so busy with work lately. Honestly, I’m just happy you found a chance to surprise me at all.”
You reach to squeeze his hand, hoping your understanding will reassure him. You know Gojo loves you deeply, his forgetfulness doesn’t change that. Still, you had hoped the moment he asked you to be his wife would be seared into his mind just as indelibly as it is in yours.
Gojo frowns, clearly bothered. “I’m so sorry, baby. I wish I could recall every detail. Asking you to marry me should be the most unforgettable moment of my life.” He brings your hand to his lips, brushing a feather-light kiss over the ring. “You deserve to have a fiancé who cherishes that memory as much as you do.”
You shake your head, touched by his remorse. “You do cherish me, even if the specifics slipped your mind this time. It’s really okay.” You squeeze his hand again. “Now, tell me more about this lovely ring. Did you pick it out yourself?”
You try to steer the conversation to lighter topics, but Gojo remains preoccupied. As you chat over breakfast, his responses are distracted, his gaze drifting frequently to the ring that has become a symbol of his perceived failure.
Later, as you clean up the breakfast dishes, he comes up behind you and wraps his arms around your waist. He presses a kiss to the top of your head. “I’m taking you out again tonight to recreate our engagement, exactly as it should be remembered,” he murmurs. “I won’t rest until I’ve made this right.”
You turn in his arms and cup his face in your hands. “Satoru, please don’t beat yourself up over this. I already told you, it’s okay.” You search his eyes, trying to convey your sincerity.
He covers your hands with his own and turns his head to kiss your palm. "It’s not okay with me," he says seriously. “You deserve the proposal you’ve always imagined. I want to replace this memory with one we can both cherish.”
“It’s okay, love. Really. You must have been tired when you—” and he doesn’t let you finish your word.
“No excuses,” he interrupts. “Let me make it up to you today.”
Seeing how important this is to him, you nod reluctantly. “Alright. If it will make you feel better.”
His expression softens. “It will. Trust me.” He kisses you tenderly then sends you off to pamper yourself while he makes plans.
Before you can protest, Gojo whisks you back to bed, insisting you relax while he pampers you all day. He brings breakfast on a silver tray—pancakes drizzled in syrup, mixed berries, and sweet tea.
Wrapping you in a plush robe, Gojo ushers you to the room, where he’s arranged for a massage therapist, manicurist, and hairstylist to spend the afternoon primping and relaxing you. Once you’re thoroughly pampered, Gojo presents you with a gift box.
“Just a little something to complement your existing beauty,” Gojo murmurs.
You start to protest the extravagance, but Gojo silences you with a kiss. “No complaints, let me spoil you today.”
He also takes you shopping and encourages you to pick out anything your heart desires, no matter the price.
At dinner, take you to the most exclusive 5-star restaurant in town. The maître d’ promptly escorts you to the best table, overlooking the cityscape.
He orders a bottle of non-alcoholic champagne (since he can’t drink), and you dine on lobster, filet mignon, and decadent desserts. He insists on hand-feeding you chocolate-dipped strawberries, stealing occasional kisses between bites.
Over dessert, he presents you with a beautiful new silver bracelet to complement your ring. He promised again that he would re-propose soon with a memory to cherish.
“You are too much sometimes. How could I repay you?” you sigh, basking in his treatment.
“Just you by my side is more than enough. Oh, maybe some late-night stress release would be nice,” he bites his lower lip with a playful wink.
After a romantic dinner, Gojo takes you back to the beautiful park fountain where he first asked you out. Under the shimmering lights, he drops gracefully to one knee and pours out his heart, confessing his unwavering love and asking you once more for the honor of becoming his wife.
“My beautiful angel, will you do me the extraordinary honor of becoming my wife? I promise to love, cherish, and adore you every moment of every day for the rest of our lives. What do you say, baby?”
Without wasting a second, you answered. The delight on your face when you say yes again makes his heart swell.
This time as he slips the ring onto your finger, unfallen tears make his eyes glossy. He remembers vividly selecting the perfect diamond, picturing how it would look adorning your hand.
He stands and gathers you into his arms. “Thank you for giving me a second chance to get this right,” he murmurs against your hair. “I’ll never forget a single moment of this night for as long as I live.”
You cling to him, your own eyes misty. “I know you won’t,” you whisper.
Gojo tilts your chin up to meet your gaze. “You’re so beautiful, baby… I love you."
He seals that promise with a long, deep kiss under the glow of the fountain, leaving you both breathless.
Once you both pull away, you smile up at him, but then begin to giggle. He looks at you in confusion as your giggles grow into full laughter.
“What’s so funny?” he asks with a perplexed smile.
You take a moment to compose yourself before answering, amusement dancing in your eyes. “The truth is, you didn’t actually forget our proposal.”
“Huh?” He looked more confused than ever. “What do you mean?” he holds your face firmly like he’s searching for an answer behind your laughter.
“You did it in your sleep!”
His eyes widened in surprise. “What? I sleep proposed to you?”
You grin and nod, taking his hands in yours. “Yes! That night, you suddenly shook me awake in bed. Your eyes were closed but you took my hand and started rambling this utterly romantic speech about how much you loved me and wanted us to be together forever. Then you pressed the ring box into my palm and mumbled something adorable like ‘Be mine always?’”
You have to pause as another fit of giggles takes over while he just stares at you, dumbfounded.
“Naturally, I said yes,” you continue, “because awake or asleep, I’ll always accept your proposal. You slipped the ring onto my finger, gave me a sweet kiss, and then promptly rolled over and started snoring!”
Now you’re laughing so hard there are tears in your eyes. Gojo remains frozen for a beat before breaking into laughter too.
“I proposed to you in my sleep? And have no memory of it at all?” He shakes his head in disbelief. “Well, that certainly explains my confusion this morning.”
You nod, still grinning. “I realized you must have done it in your sleep, but I didn’t want to say anything at first. I thought your dramatic distress over forgetting was too adorable!”
You dissolve into giggles again. Gojo chuckles and pulls you into his arms. “You find my suffering amusing, do you? You act all sad and pouty when in reality you knew about this?” He tickles your sides playfully, making you squeal.
“How was it being spoiled, hmm?” He showers your face with kisses as he tickles your side. He said that as if he doesn’t spoil you often already.
When your laughter finally subsides, Gojo gazes at you tenderly and brushes a tear from your cheek. “I’m glad one of us will remember the actual proposal, even if I was unconscious about it.”
He pauses before speaking again, “Though now I’m wondering if I should redo it a third time?”
You smile and wrap your arms around his neck. “I think twice is enough, don’t you think? Or do you just want another excuse to propose to me?”
You lean in and kiss him sweetly. Gojo hums against your lips. “You’re right as always. I wouldn’t change a thing about how we got here.”
He holds you close, admiring the ring on your finger. “Well, we’re now officially engaged to be married. That’s all that matters.”
You snuggle into his embrace, heart overflowing with love. “So, tell me, what were you dreaming that night when you proposed to me,” you ask with a giggle, finding the situation weirdly funny.
“Oh!” His eyes widened. “That must have been some dream I had.” He chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. “I guess my subconscious wanted to make our engagement official before my conscious mind caught up.”
You laugh and hug him tighter. “Clearly your heart knew what it wanted even if your brain didn’t yet.” You pause. “But what made you decide to propose in your dream? We’ve never really talked about marriage.”
Gojo wraps his arms around you. “Honestly? We were on a romantic getaway in my dream. We’d spent the whole day exploring together and I was just overwhelmed by how perfectly happy I felt with you.”
He smiles softly, caressing your cheek with his thumb. “I looked over at you watching the sunset, and it just hit me. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, making you this happy. I realized at that moment that I couldn’t imagine a future without you as my wife. So dream-me proposed on the spot.”
Your smile at his tender words. You cup his face and kiss him again. “Well, I’m thankful for the dream-you were brave enough to ask before real-you.” You grin playfully and chuckle. “Yeah, you might as well be begging dream-me to re-propose in your sleep.”
You snuggle closer. “Maybe we should just let our dream-selves get married too, so both versions of us can be happy.”
He hums thoughtfully. “Not a bad idea. We could have a double ceremony. One dream wedding and one awake.”
“And I can’t wait to spend forever with you, whether you’re awake or asleep when you ask.”
Gojo laughs and kisses the top of your head. “I promise I’ll stay conscious for the actual wedding ceremony,” he teases.
“We’ll see. Maybe sleepwalking Satoru will surprise me again.”
As he gazes into your eyes, his expression becomes serious. “Mmm, marrying you for real is my dream come true. I can’t wait to call you my wife.”
