Purist = a person who insists on adherence to traditional rules or structure Tourist = a newcomer to the ecosystem

Bottega = the studio of a master artist, in which students learn by participating in his work

A Decentralised Bottega = the studio of different creatives, who eventually master the craft by participating in the work collectively

Defined by a trial-and-error process, DeBott. is a coming-of-age story of Web3, where Tourists and Purists coexist and build together by conceptualizing their interdisciplinary knowledge. The most authentic and pure expression is actually when a work ends up in a space it was not intended for.

Studying architecture, computer science, business and psychology, we have established an atelier to explore the close relation between classic IRL projects and Web3. Paying homage to Andy Warhol’s studio “The Factory”, we want to foster a cohesive group of minds from both inside and outside of the digital world, in order to use our life experience to inform the work and produce a human connection through it.

We have to use our practice to show this framework breaks down barriers.

Web3 created a sort of utopia and we look at it as potential. We believe this medium has no limits and it should not only be utilised for the development of digital spaces. It should also facilitate the creation and growth of all sorts of endeavors and regular businesses by unifying an amorphous and fragmented audience. There are no strict rules.

Given our ethos and our strong belief in Web3’s idealism, we are forming a community in order to create a Decentralised Bottega, a starting point for future collaborative projects, that should support, creatively and financially, any member’s feasible concept.

Given our expertise and our mission to build a vision of how it could be, we are launching our first product and an initial act towards a proper decentralised governance on blockchain, which stand as a metaphor for the studio’s ideology and the foundation of DeBott: Figures of Renaissance, a progressive auto battler and a story-driven card game.
