Seedoll (seed+doll) : based on Pinocchio and Red Riding Hood, evolves from Seedot by leveling up and having "copycat" as one of its moves

Palutin (pal+lutin) : Based on the Lutin, a french goblin/gnome/fae creature. Evolves from Seedoll at level 40 and having "metronome" as one of its moves Popirit (populus tremuloides(the aspen tree's scientific name)+pop (as in grandfather)+spirit): Based on aspen tree groves and Ents. evolves from Seedoll when released from the pc, and encountering a wild pokemon in a specific woodlands area (the pokemon keeps its nickname and moves) Rougarouge (rougarou+rouge) : based on the Rougarou, a french/north-american werewolf-adjacent legend. Evolves from Seedoll at level 30 and having any dark-type move Regional Bidoof: based on hydroelectric infrastructures Geistor (geist+castor/castoroides): based on hydroelectric infrastructures and the extinct giant beaver. Evolves from Bidoof after being K.O. by an electric-type attack.

funnily enough, two of my artfight attacks this year revolved around two fanged, large-&-pointed-eared characters (whose owners have "dragon" in their usernames), drawn in a mostly-lineless style, with grainy textures and shading, with sun/moon imagery

either way, for @/dragonbonecrown (ig) and @rose-is-tired respectively!
