I love your art! Do you have any advice for picking color palettes? That's something I have a hard time with

omg thank you so much!

A simple way to do color palettes (for me) is pick several desaturated colors and add 1 or 2 that's saturated, it makes the saturated colors pop out more :>

But a cheat I do 80% of the time is make a layer of just 1 color (i usually do blue or orange depending on the piece), use the 'overlay' or 'soft light' blending mode, and put that on top of all the layers (set the opacity accordingly). You can do as many as you can! (example below)

It's literally magic, it ties all the colors all together without having to meticulously pick your brain for color theory lol

you don't need to follow this all the time tho but it's a good way to learn and experiment! good luck with your art <3
