I LOVED WHEN CROWLEY MENTIONED NIGHTINGALES

I mean I hated it because it was fucking heartbreaking, but I also LOVED IT

And here's why:

This is almost his last chance to persuade Aziraphale to stay and Crowley chooses such a romantically devastating thing to say I'M GONNA DIE

The fact that he mentioned specifically nightingales, which means that he is referencing THAT PARTICULAR SONG which also means that this song has A LOT OF SIGNIFICANCE FOR BOTH OF THEM, that they haven't only heard it once at the restaurant and that Aziraphale would understand the reference

And also for some reason Crowley was trying to hear nightingales in the middle of crowded London (idk maybe nightingales not only hang out in parks) BUT this is probably him saying that nightingales is a representation of the two of them and the fact that he can't hear them means that SOME INTERGRAL PART OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS MISSING, SOMETHING IS WRONG AND IT SCARES HIM
