In Cox's Bazar sea beach often sea turtles are found dead. Several Organisations government agencies are always trying to get rid of this killing. Lots of signboards are also inserted into different places to increase awareness. But the result is not happy.

There are several reasons behind this. Mostly the importance of sea turtles to survive for the ecosystem is not understood by the people who kill turtles. Sometimes people kill this just for fun, when turtles come to the beach for laying eggs.

In other cases turtles are caught by fishing nets and to get rid of them the fishermen hit the turtles and make them severally injured. As a result they died and reach to the beach through ocean wave. The marks of injuries created by sharp tools remains visible to their body. People even think this is brutal practice. They think this animals are not necessary. So the basic gap is why people will conserve turtles? When they will realize that how important turtles are, then they will start conserve turtles by themselves. Information and awareness development in real means is the key to conserve turtles in Bay of Bengal.

Just before the super cyclone Amfan, in Cox’s Bazar Sea beach. Though the cyclone did not hit this region of Bangladesh. It went through the Sundarbans coastal part of Bangladesh. Division of Satkhira was mostly affected by the storm. Lots of fish culture pond were destroyed approximately 10 people died.

Lots of trees are broken down, thousands of houses are destroyed. Bangladesh is severally affected with Corona virus and this storm has made doubled the sufferings of the people. The relief is limited and in most times that does not reach to the right person due to corruption and fraud practices. Livelihood of millions of people who lived in coastal district are several affected. It will take a long time to recover normally but in the race with Covid 19 this has just became a nightmare.
