This is an edit I did of Soul, my Light Fury OC. You all might recognize this picture from my header on my main blog that I have had for quite a while.

I just realized I never explained her lol. And with the name of my main blog being @night-light-venus, there is no hint as to who she is what so ever lol...Oops.

Soul is a Light Fury who has a rider named Ingrid. As you can see Soul isn't the regular white you would expect to see on most Light Fury's, she is a light creamy/off white with light lavender and purples as her secondary colors.

Her rider Ingrid:

Found her as an egg, all alone when she was about 7 years old. She thought she was just a very pretty rock, and took her home. You can imagine her suprise when the egg hatched, luckily her mother was not home at the time to see what had caused all the commotion. At first she was afraid, but as soon as she realized that the baby dragon was helpless and had been left alone in the forest where she had found her, she tried to keep her.

When Soul was small enough she kept her in her room as her playmate - hiding her under her bed, in her closet, in her toy box, anywhere she could fit really, when she heard footsteps coming close to her door. Of course, soon she was too big to hide in her room, so she graduated to hiding her under the house when mom and dad were home. However, as the months past and turned into years it was getting harder and harder to keep her hidden under the house.

At a year and a half, she was too big to squeeze under the house, and that's when she had first been found out by the people of Ingrid's village. Naturally as the story goes, Soul wasn't accepted by Ingrid's people. They believed taking a baby dragon from its nest would surely curse the village. When Ingrid and Soul found ways to still see each other, the Villagers reacted violently and Soul, thinking her friend was the one who was in danger, took Ingrid away from her home.

Since then they both have been living on their own, hoping from place to place. Soul grew up to never trust any humans other than her rider, and as not many wild dragons took very well to people, she felt she couldn't trust other dragons either. She and Ingrid are a package deal, they take care of eachother.

HTTYD AU

I guess this would count as an AU? Seeing as Toothless is supposed to be the last Night Fury?

This is an AU where, obviously, there are still a lot of Night Fury's around. Grimmel succeeded in hunting all the Night Fury's in the Barbaric Archipelago, but what about the ones who migrated elsewhere ages before Grimmel was even born? To some place they could live more comfortably?

Grimmel said it himself, Night Fury's can't survive in cold conditions and with that being said, it would stand to reason that the colder it is, the less Night Fury's there would be in any given area - with none being located in the Northern and Southern caps since the cold is so extreme there.

My babies live comfortably on/close to the equator in the wilderness of Mexico, hidden in the stone ruins and temples abandoned by various native tribes. There, the people have a more spiritual view of these winged creatures who seemed to have walked the land before man. There, they believe dragons are physical manifestations of spirits, gods, death, and life itself; they are guardians, spiritual guides- alebrije's if you will.

Decided to stick with lighter colors/pastels this time around, just so the lines would still be easy see when I scan it at color it on my computer.

Normally Rebellion would be a much darker shade of purple close to black/dark grey.
