Farewell for Now!
Some news: After nine years of self-employment, I started a new job last week. I’m now Senior Writer at Breaker, a soon-to-launch online magazine about all things blockchain. (Yeah, not very grungy, I know.) Anyway, given this major life change, I’ve decided to retire the Everybody Loves Our Town blog. (Which isn’t to say I won’t post the occasional bit of news here.) Thanks to everyone who followed this blog and shared in their enthusiasm for the book. Oh, what’s that you say? You haven’t picked up a copy of Everybody Loves Our Town yet? Well, you must rectify that immediately. Also, make sure to follow me on Twitter, where we can continue virtually swingin’ on the flippity-flop. Rock on, Mark

soundgarden On this day in 1989, Soundgarden played their first-ever European show - supporting Mudhoney at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London University. Chris concluded the set with the words: “We’re Black Sabbath. Goodnight!” Photographer @still.liane, on her first pro assignment, captured this shot of @ChrisCornellOfficial.
