As they brushed past her clitoris, she sighed, repressing a moan that threatened to arise. She closed her eyes, imagining that Blue was with her, that she was on her knees whilst Yellow was sat in the chair, her tongue pleasing her as determinedly as it always did. The image of Blue played in her mind, conceiving how the other Diamond looked when she gazed up at her, her eyes fixed on her, whilst the lower half of her face was buried in Yellow’s arousal. This merely caused her to pant slightly, her fingers becoming faster in their motion.

The sound of a message arriving made her open her eyes.

Are you touching yourself?

Yellow rolled her eyes, a huff of amusement escaping her. Reaching out, she pressed the small icon that called out to her fellow Diamond, it merely ringing for two seconds before Blue opened the call. She was on her back, one hand reaching downward until it was no longer visible, her expression petulant as she viewed Yellow at her desk.

“I want to see you,” she frowned.

“You can see me,” was the sarcastic remark.

Blue’s lips pursed. “You know what I mean.” Her gaze scrutinised the clothed torso, the hand that reached beneath the desk. “I want to see all of you.”

I thought a lot about it and when I turn IWOAW into a novel, I have a scene where Yvonne is wearing a loose, slightly unbuttoned shirt and she’s dishevelled and a little sweaty.

I wanted to feed the children, you understand. And also give Bonnie’s eyes a bit of a feast.

I'm not the first to mention this, but one bit that I thought was really clever in Steven Universe is the ways in which the show subtly justifies the cartoonism of the principle cast always wearing the same outfit for ease-of-animation purposes. The gems are a gimme in that they're all hardlight-projections, and even before that's solidified as a plot point they're otherworldly and superheroic enough that you don't really think to question it. But Steven canonically just owns hundreds and hundreds of those star shirts, which are leftover merchandise from his father's fizzled-out career as a rock star. Into which you can read a whole bunch of other stuff if you really want to, right? And I do want to. It's reflective of Greg's misplaced optimism that he got hundreds of those made in the first place, and it's a benign but visible example of how Steven's life is shaped by the knock-on effects of decisions his parents made before he was even alive. He's got his mother's superpowers and he's wearing his father's shirts.
