I know there is good in everything and it'll show itself if you're gentle to it

I sit down when I shower

Dripping and dropping, as the steam drifts up and around watering my flowers

It's oh so exhausting to stand while I work the suds in my scalp

The weight of my existence weighing on my shoulders, pushing me to the ground

Feeling the water pound

But every so often

I forget this body is mine

And I admire her, taking her in with my eyes

And for a moment I think how beautiful she is

But then I suppose it's back to rinsing the suds down the drain while I sit in the shower

Some days, I cry enough to fill the Pacific Ocean.. The clouds blush, seeing the flood my eyes cause, wondering how something so small could outshine them. I sob and cry and wish it would stop the pain in my bones. The pain no one can quite understand and that I can't quite explain. So I'll continue to use these tears to dampen the blood red ink, which I use to write these sorry excuses of poetry and prose.
